The Government Media Office in Gaza has documented at least 282 breaches by Israel, including airstrikes, artillery fire, and shootings, since the ceasefire agreement came into effect last month.

It says Israeli forces opened fire on civilians 88 times, entered areas beyond the “yellow line” 12 times, conducted 124 bombings, and demolished homes on 52 occasions, while also detaining 23 Palestinians.

Despite the declared truce, officials say Israel has continued to block vital aid and destroy infrastructure, worsening the already dire humanitarian situation.

ICC-indicted Benjamin Netanyahu has sought to distance his government from the sharp rise in settler attacks across the occupied West Bank, claiming these assaults are carried out by a “minority” and do not reflect the “law-abiding” settler population.

But documented assaults have reached record levels, with the UN reporting more than 260 incidents in October alone. Palestinians view the surge in attacks as part of a broader effort to push them off their land while Israel moves closer to formally annexing the territory, entrenching a system of apartheid and dispossession.

South African activists say Israel is working through a little-known humanitarian group, Al-Majd Europe, to quietly move Palestinians out of Gaza, calling it a new form of ethnic cleansing.

Confusion erupted when a plane carrying 153 Palestinians landed at OR Tambo International Airport and was left on the tarmac for 12 hours, with passengers unable to disembark.

Activists later discovered that the South African government had not been informed of the group’s arrival, and the evacuees had no documentation or clear understanding of where they were being taken.
