Oxfam expressed deep sorrow over the killing of 27-year-old psychologist Tasneem, who worked with its partner organization in Gaza. Tasneem was killed along with her two young children in an Israeli airstrike on September 20.
Tasneem, who was pregnant and had previously lost a son in another Israeli strike, was remembered as a dedicated humanitarian who continued her work despite constant danger. Her husband was critically injured in the same attack. Oxfam also reported the destruction of two more partner facilities in recent Israeli strikes, emphasizing that aid workers must never be targeted.

Germany’s Ministry of Economy confirmed that no new licenses for war weapons exports to Israel have been approved since August 2025.
The move came after legal and human rights challenges warning of violations of international law amid the war on Gaza. Chancellor Friedrich Merz stated that no military equipment that could be used in Gaza will be exported “until further notice.”
Between January and August 2024, export licenses to Israel totaled only €14.5 million, a sharp drop from previous years. Rights groups and politicians continue to call for a complete ban on arms exports.

The World Health Organization reported that more than 15,000 people in Gaza City, including children, urgently need medical treatment but cannot access it due to the shutdown of hospitals and the collapse of the health system under Israeli attacks.
In the past ten days, four hospitals have closed, leaving only 14 still operating, while half of Gaza’s health centers are out of service. Among them is Hamad Rehabilitation Hospital, further limiting access to care.
The WHO warned that lives in Gaza are threatened not only by famine but also by untreated injuries and diseases. UN agencies stressed that over half a million people are already trapped in famine conditions, with the blockade and military assault worsening the crisis.
