On September 28, the United Nations officially blacklisted ACS (Actividades de Construcción y Servicios, S.A.) and its subsidiary SEMI, both owned by Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez, for operating in occupied Palestinian territories. The companies have been using local resources to build infrastructure that sustains Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied West Bank and East occupied Jerusalem, where over 700,000 settlers live in at least 250 settlements.
The UN’s move comes amid growing criticism in Spain over Israel’s genocide in Gaza and the daily killings of Palestinian civilians. According to the UN, the blacklisted companies “provide equipment or materials that facilitate the construction and maintenance of settlements, the demolition of Palestinian homes, surveillance operations, exploitation of natural resources for commercial gain, and environmental pollution.”

He added that Hamas was not briefed before the plan was announced and that its provisions appear close to the “Israeli interests”.
Under the proposal advanced by the Trump administration, key provisions will include no Israeli withdrawal and no formal end to Israeli attacks unless Hamas surrenders all weapons.
The Palestinian Authority will have no role in Gaza during an interim period, while Tony Blair will chair a U.S.-backed committee composed of “independent” Palestinians to administer Gaza.
All Israeli captives would be released within 72 hours of signing an agreement, and Gaza’s border crossings would be opened fully to allow voluntary departures.
Hamas leadership would be expelled from Gaza “voluntarily”; those who remain would be required to surrender. If Hamas rejects the terms, it would face intensified pressure, including expulsion from host countries, targeted actions against its external leaders, and legal pursuit abroad.
Remaining parts of Gaza would be flattened and transformed into depopulated, Israeli-controlled zones similar to Rafah or Beit Hanoun.
