From Palestine 🇵🇸 to the World
Khaled, a nurse from Al-Bureij camp, describes that the issue with fuel is that in large-scale attacks, the number of casualties and martyrs is often overwhelming, depleting both medical supplies and ambulance fuel. Due to the lack of stockpiles in ambulances, caused by the current circumstances, halting operations amid increasing casualties and fatalities is seen as a crime. Typically, these conditions are extremely harsh for the four volunteers.

NEW | EU Faces Backlash for Freezing Sanctions on Israel Amid Trump-Led Peace Plan
The EU is facing heavy criticism after pausing sanctions against Israel’s government, citing a shift in “context” following Donald Trump’s new peace initiative, even as the fragile ceasefire risks collapse.
EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas announced that plans to suspend preferential trade and sanction Israeli officials would be put on hold but “not taken off the table.”
Former EU diplomats and human rights experts condemned the move, saying Brussels is shielding Israel from accountability despite findings that it breached human rights obligations.
Critics, including former EU envoy Sven Kühn von Burgsdorff and Human Rights Watch, said the bloc was undermining international law and abandoning pressure at a critical moment.
Around 200 U.S. service members with expertise in logistics, security, engineering, and planning helped establish the center under Lt. Gen. Patrick Frank, commander of U.S. Army Central.
The CMCC says it is intended to support Gaza’s transition to civilian governance while ensuring the ceasefire agreement is upheld.

Director of the Palestinian Center for Prisoners’ Defense, Lina Al-Tawil, said Israel continues to prevent the entry of blankets and winter clothing to thousands of prisoners for the third year, leaving them to face severe cold.
She explained that Gaza detainees, especially those arrested after October 7, 2023, are the most affected, having received only one shirt and pair of trousers since arrest.
Al-Tawil noted that Israel rejected all requests to provide clothing or blankets and even punished some prisoners who applied. She warned that prisons located in desert areas become extremely cold, worsening the health of sick inmates.

Breaking | U.S. Opens Gaza Coordination Hub to Support Stabilization Efforts
The U.S. Central Command officially inaugurated a Civil-Military Coordination Center (CMCC) in “Israel” on October 17, establishing a key hub to coordinate humanitarian, logistical, and security assistance to Gaza, five days after a U.S.-brokered plan aimed at ending the war in Gaza was signed.
The CMCC says it will not deploy U.S. troops into Gaza but will facilitate the flow of international aid and monitor ceasefire implementation through an operations floor providing real-time updates. It also includes office and meeting spaces to enable collaborative planning among partner nations, NGOs, international institutions, and private sector representatives.
“Bringing together stakeholders who share the goal of successful stabilization in Gaza is essential for a peaceful transition,” said Adm. Brad Cooper, CENTCOM commander.
NEW | An Investigations by Euro-Med Monitor indicate that Palestinian detainees bodies handed over by the Israeli occupation army originated from Sde Teiman detention camp, suggesting many were likely alive prior to being killed.
Initial testimonies support this, including the family of a Palestinian from Al-Bureij who confirmed he had been detained and appeared in an Israeli video with only a hand injury, otherwise in good health.
NEW | More than 40 Democratic Senators urge Trump to reaffirm opposition to Israeli annexation of the occupied West Bank
Over forty Democratic senators have signed a letter urging President Trump to reaffirm his opposition to any Israeli annexation of parts of the occupied West Bank, a stance he privately conveyed to Arab and Muslim leaders but did not include in his 20-point Gaza peace plan, according to Axios.
The senators, in a rare show of bipartisan alignment with Trump, said it is vital to restate this position now that the Gaza ceasefire is in effect. They warned that any annexation attempt could jeopardize the Abraham Accords, Trump’s signature foreign policy achievement, and further undermine prospects for a two-state solution.
Only Senator John Fetterman (D-Pa.) declined to sign the letter, which emphasized that annexation would “place at risk” regional stability and U.S. credibility.
