NEW | Palestinian Activist Ayman Ghrayeb Hospitalized Amid Secret Israeli Detention

Palestinian activist Ayman Ghrayeb was forcibly disappeared for two days after his abduction by Israeli occupation forces on November 17 in the Jordan Valley. He has since been hospitalized under undisclosed conditions, raising fears of torture or mistreatment.

The Israeli occupation plan to place him under administrative detention, indefinite imprisonment without charge or trial.

Ghrayeb was documenting Israel’s ongoing expulsion of Palestinian communities, reflecting a broader pattern: over 110 communities displaced and increasing targeting of non-violent activists since October 2023.

Displaced Palestinians sheltering in fragile tents across Gaza are bracing for winter as Israeli bombardments persist despite the declared ceasefire, The Guardian reports.

In Gaza City, 46-year-old Hyam Jundieh said she has yet to receive any winter clothing for her children, burning scraps of paper to heat a small kettle as cold winds sweep through the camp.

Further south in Al-Mawasi, 57-year-old Abu Mohammed Al-Qarra was forced to pitch his tent just 20 meters from the shoreline, where rising waves repeatedly crash against the flimsy shelters scattered along the beach.
