So, I've watched Tango slowly build his warden field, and I've noticed a potential problem.
The warden field surrounds his Storage Room (in DO2, he used that as his base of operations within the game). Has he counted out the blocks to make sure he has a safe place to be while working on the game (or more importantly, while watching his victims run the game)?
I know he used wool for the channels, but he is going to be exposed to the same openings that the game is using to get the darkness effect, but for longer.
I honestly feel like actually putting in the wardens should have been one of the last things he did, not the very first lol.

Grian's interiors.... custom paintings?
I was watching Grian's latest video and I absolutely love that he's been doing more interiors! I've always loved the way he does them, even if he doesn't build them often. I just remember his '100 furniture ideas' videos and thinking every design was really cool. I'm especially a fan of the bed design.
As for the paintings, there is some great pixel art out there that Grian should consider. I have a couple pieces of artwork I would happily put forth to being custom paintings... I've put some examples below !! But I'm working on something maybe more relevant...

It's that time of year again, to celebrate the best r/HermitCraft posts of the year!
Our sister subreddits r/hermitcraftmemes and r/ThirdLifeSMP (covering Past Life and Nice Life) will be participating as well, so go and check those subreddits to nominate posts over there as well!
## The Prizes
Winning posts will be flaired under a rare 'Golden Jellie' flair, to show they are the GOAT! The winners will also be given a rare 'Best of 2025 Winner' or ‘Golden Jellie Winner’ flair, depending on which category they win.
## How to Nominate
This thread is in contest mode to hide upvotes for everyone except mods.
Post your nominations as replies to my category comments. Top level comments that are not replies to my categories will be ignored. Nominations will be accepted through 14th January, after which this post will be locked to give time for all nominations to be voted on.
For Reddit posts, comment the link to the comment page for the post (should start at www.reddit.com/r/HermitCraft/comments), after double-checking nobody else has nominated the same post as you.

What is your fave type of HC stream?
I was listening to Tango talk about how he’s in a bit of a situation where he’s grinding out the mountain, he’s spent like 20 hours on it already and he’s like 6% done. And he thinks that mountain building wouldn’t be a fun stream/content, and also that he shouldn’t ask hermits to help build with him on a stream because it’s not “content focused” which I get what he means and obviously if he doesn’t want to do that then he won’t fair enough.
However, it reminded me of how last season Gem wanted to get the volcano built. She invited hermits who weren’t even in the magic mountain group to help, and that stream was one of my favourite streams ever on HC. I truly love streams where the hermits just talk, and that stream was just that while building.
So while I agree it wouldn’t be content focused for the hermits as at most, the hermits would only be able to maybe add a small segment into their video about it. I do think it would be great content for a hermit stream, and also I do think a lot of hermits would wanna do it to hang out and help with decked out.
Anyways, what I want to know is what is your favourite type of HC stream? Like where they build, hang out and talk, build farms? Or if you can think of one, what was your favourite hermitcraft stream a hermits done?

In her most recent stream she declared herself the servers lawyer, but since there's no server government it sounds more like Gem appointed herself as the servers president or queen.

Does anyone know what multiplayer sleep system Hermitcraft uses? Specifically with the "please don't sleep" function
Hey all, I've seen in some season 11 video (I think it was one of Bdubs') that the hermits use a multiplayer sleep datapack (or maybe it's a mod?) that not only allows passing the night with just one player sleeping, but also lets players set a "please do not sleep" status that blocks the function and displays a message whenever someone gets into bed. I want that for my own server.
Does anyone know which one they're using? I don't think it's the one from VanillaTweaks.

I remember her and another hermit talking about one of the updates and Gem saying she wants it to be purely build-focused so all the redstoners grumble. I think it was when she was sick.

Live stream Close Captions???
My partner (Zombiieequeenbee) has been profoundly deaf since the age of three..
As far as I'm aware Cleo and XbCrafted have live Close Captions (CC) on Twitch...
My partner has been made aware that there is a button or setting to enable (CC) on streams with Twitch. Not sure if its a mod attach or standard setting avaliable.
Also not sure obviously all hermits are aware of this accessibility option but it would be lovely to see if this would get included by more hermits in the future.
Since this series and the last have mostly been about the vods, it can be frustrating to wait for them to be uploaded with subs, when we have the opportunity to try and watch live.

New Year's Eve 2025 Prediction Thread
Hello all! I recently did a Hermitcraft stream predicting things about Minecraft and Hermitcraft for 2026. I plan to reveal my answers (and Joe's) next year December 31st, 2026 during a stream. There we will also make new predictions for 2027.
I have decided to also share these questions here with you in case you want to play along and see if you can predict these things correctly! It's a fun thing that I've been doing IRL for years on other topics so figured it would be fun to do with Minecraft/Hermitcraft stuff starting this year.
New Year's Eve 2025 Questions:
1. Will Fletching Table Functionality be added?
2. Will Minecraft have an End Themed Update and/or expand the inventory?
3. Will we see 4 drops/Updates this year?
