Are Steam Charts accurate? -60% in average players and -80% in all time player peak after 5 months on a free game on Steam (meaning F2P WZ players get counted, not only people who paid for the game). Isn't this concerning, or is it overreacting for thinking Steam Charts are accurate?

Are the COD devs underestimating just how many folk purchase a COD specifically for the traditional 6v6 experience? And are they purposefully trying to kill it?
Even if they play other modes, for example, I have had a blast on Zombies many times, nevertheless, since 2007 I have purchased every single COD and specifically, SPECIFICALLY for the traditional 6v6 experience (or Assault/Blitz in Vanguard which was 8v8/10v10 or something but basically the same thing).
It's hard for me to accept that they are NOT purposefully trying to kill the traditional 6v6 experience since the neglect is outlandish this year, if there is any other explanation I am very interested to hear.

My heart is broken after watching FaZe Spratt’s video. Such a genuine chap, absolutely love him and grew up sniping because of him.
Fuck Warzone and everything about it. I’ve been screaming this since Mw19. Warzone has destroyed call of duty multiplayer. It’s so fucking ignorant that this god damn community is getting ruined because of a free to play fucking game mode. We pay $60-70 a year for a multiplayer experience that has been taken over by a irrelevant community. I don’t care if Warzone is your favorite. ITS FREE. Our experience for the multiplayer is NOT FREE, yet it is terribly influenced by a fucking battle Royale mode. I don’t understand the vision that the devs see or what they’re trying to gain, but this is PEAK disappointment for every OG cod player out there. We have the past 3 years a chance & now with Mw2 being a game that we’re stuck with for 2 years, I’ve lost all hope. 14 fucking years I’ve been obsessed with this game & you’d expect nothing but improvement & all we got was a game that “feels good”. LITERALLY THATS ALL THIS GAME OFFERS. It just fucking feels good. Nothing works correctly. The mechanics are fucked, the community is fucked, but we sit here and play because it’s addicting because it’s one of the few MP experiences out there that actually feels great to play. Then reality sits in & you realize how fucking terrible everything is now. I’ve raged every single year at cod, but I always came back, I’ve always been hungry for more, I can get over the rage. Now when you rage, you don’t want to touch this game for a week or even longer because you hope some update will come out to fix the bullshit, but then boom reality hits again, nothing fucking changes. I don’t know what community this game is targeting, but majority of OG players are not having it. I seriously want to see top streamers, top YouTubers, & everyone else who cares take a fucking stand against this game until we finally get what we want. We made this company a billion dollars on opening week & they still won’t communicate with the community nor give MP the support that it needs. Season 2 is the most disappointing fucking thing that we have to look forward to in history of COD. Nothing is new, they’re giving us everything weve already had in the past. How is that COD mobile is literally taking over the scene? Oh wait, because everything we fucking want is in that game rather than the $70 game that we just fucking payed for. I hope something changes because I love cod with a passion, but as of right now, I want this company to burn into the ground so they can see the mistakes they’ve made because nothing is being done & the community is NOT being listened to.
Sorry for the rant, but I’m just fucking tired of it. It’s ruining content for my favorite content creators and it’s just ruining the fun of gaming in general. I seriously can’t wait until SM2 is developed so Activision can see what we actually want for the future of cod, because what they’re doing right now is digging they’re own grave and I will not be thrown into it.

Is anyone actually having fun in multiplayer?
Besides DMZ which I’m not allowed to speak on in here and the camo system and grind, I haven’t been having fun like I used to in previous titles. Historically I’d hop on cod after work or school to unwind and relax. Now it seems like I need to be a cod pro league player to even be decent in multiplayer, something I don’t have the time, energy, or sanity to become. Just want to hear your guys thoughts and how you approach playing multiplayer.

The AUDACITY to call museum a new map
This type bullshit should honestly be considered criminal behaviour. I remember someone made a meme a couple weeks ago with museum being the new map for S2, and IW actually DID IT.
Not giving a shit is bad enough, but which f*cking dumb executives thought releasing a map that they had to remove from the game because of THEIR copyright fk up as a “new” map is a good decision?
It honestly would have been better just to call it 1 “new” map dome, and announce the return of museum in a simple patch notes right after. At least then it’s just shit content.
