I watched Maroune’s video reaction about Bilal and I was shocked
I just watched Maroune’s reaction video where he talks about Bilal addressing the racist comments people left after Bilal’s past podcast with an Ivorian man living in Morocco.
What really shocked me is that when he checked the profiles of the people leaving those comments, they weren’t just some young trolls. Some were grown adults, even mothers.
Seeing these comments coming from men and women of different ages was very disturbing. It makes me wonder if this problem is bigger than we thought.

Local woman told me to not sit in certain area because of the men
So there’s a little part of a park I’ve been sitting at because there’s lots of cute stray cats. Today a well dressed Moroccan woman tried to tell me something in her language, and then we used google translate and this is what she said:
غير المكان هنا رجال ليس امينين.
So I am following her advice but very sad because I enjoy feeding the cats and sitting with them.
My question is, would it be okay to take one of the kittens I’ve bonded with and sit with it at a different part of the park (where there are women and families sitting) and then return the kitten back to the part of the park I shouldn’t sit at? Because I really look forward to sitting with that cat daily and today it sat on my lap for the first time. It’s very young and cute. I feed the cats daily when I visit them as well

Help regarding abuse faced by fiance fron her parents
Me (28m living in Singapore) and my fiance (Moroccan 25f) both muslims; have been in a long distance relationship for over a year, I have already met her in person in the past and shes absolutely the most wonder person ever.
I have never been married before, but my fiance is divorced and she moved in with her parents a couple of years ago after her divorce, as her ex was very abusive.
Her dad has been abusive towards her too and has broken and hidden her phone, and also tried to hide and steal from her the phone and stuff that I got for her. He swars and beats her up for no reason, doesn't let her leave the house and locks her up.
My fiance has managed to escape and has run to a trusted friend of hers. I would like to bring my fiance with me to Singapore asap but her dad has stolen her passport and wont give it back.
Please guide me on what we could, I really want my fiance to be safe, she's scared that her family would find her.
We plan to get married soon inshallah and bring her to Singapore.
Any help would really be appreciated!!

Lost my dad two days ago… What steps do we need to take now?
Salam everyone,
My dad passed away two days ago, and we buried him yesterday (Allah yrahmou). It’s been really hard for us, and honestly, I’m just trying to stay strong for my siblings.
We are three kids: I’m 28 M, my brother is younger, and my sister just turned 18. Our dad was divorced from our mom, and he never remarried. Now, it’s on me to figure out what needs to be done so we can take care of everything—especially because my sister needs help with her college tuition soon.
I have no idea where to start. Can anyone guide me on:
• What paperwork we need to do after someone passes away in Morocco?
• Which offices or steps are involved?
• How does inheritance work in this case (3 kids, no spouse)?
• Any deadlines or things I should do quickly?
I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share. Thank you all for your support during this tough time.

I’ve been supporting my parents for years, but now that I stopped, my mom is lying and guilt-tripping me. I’m exhausted.
I’m a woman in my mid-20s, living abroad. Since I was 18, I’ve been financially supporting both myself and my family back home. For years, I sent them money regularly—without saving anything for myself.
Last year, I finally decided to start saving for a major milestone in my life. It’s important, meaningful, and expensive. Part of it also includes covering full travel and visa costs for both of my parents so they can be there with me. I’m handling everything on my own.
Because of that, I had to stop sending money like I used to. I explained this to my mom very clearly. My expenses are tight, and every bit I save goes directly into something I’ve worked hard for. Despite that, I’ve still helped a few times—like sending a large amount during eid holiday even though it was financially painful for me.
Recently, my mom asked me to send money so she could host a Sunday lunch for extended family. I told her no—it’s not essential, and I simply couldn’t afford it. She got upset and said my sibling would help instead. I left it at that.
A few days later, I found out she went behind my back and asked my partner for money. She claimed there was a family emergency involving my brother. None of it was true. She lied to get money from them.
This isn’t the first time she’s lied. In the past, she’s told me she was sick just so I’d send money, and when I asked about it later, she brushed it off. I genuinely don’t know where the money goes anymore—she just says “to help at home.”
I confronted her and told her this has to stop—that I can’t be manipulated or guilted like this, and that lying is unacceptable. Since then, she’s been cold and distant, acting like I’m the one who’s selfish and ungrateful.
I’m hurt and tired. I’ve supported them for years, and the one time I try to focus on building a future for myself, I’m treated like the bad guy. I don’t know what to do anymore.
If anyone has advice or has gone through something similar with their parents, I’d really appreciate hearing from you.

Serious Opinion Required Concerning 1337
Im 23M Graduated last year from public unI holding a Mcs in Data Science, with a back ground in finance and economics, managed to score a job after internship.
Straight to the point, as we all know public uni there isnt any value given really most either make it by their own efforts and self learning, and basically that is my point, in the masters degree i had to teach myself all kind of things, a bit of programing a bit of DSA a bit of here and there, and this lead me to having a sort of imposter syndrome, where I don't really know if I'm good or bad or where I stand.
The job is pretty much a mix of financial analysis and DBA, and often time due to needing to achieve or get some results asap, chatgpt is used emphisizing the Imposter syndrome more.
Recently the thought of going deep in learning all about computer science is perma in my mind, Im passionate about everything tech related and hoping in the future to build a business around it.
Now that was the context, and where does 1337 come into this ? I heard about it in my last year of Masters and thought of it as a great things then with pfe and getting recruited it just got forgotten now hearing that even in the work place people are praising the school (high placed people) and still being passionate about it im thinking of what are my options ? Should I consider joining ? Is attendence required ? Can it be remote ? What comes after ? And many more questions...
What Im hoping to get from this post is opinions, people who've been there, people who are maybe in a similar situation as me.
