Living in HK vs Mainland
I'm a Chinese Canadian and I am looking to move to China/HK in the future. I'm born before 97 so I am eligible for a 2 star Right to Land HKID since my dad is from HK. I can speak conversational Cantonese and currently learning Mandarin at the HSK 3 level hoping to get to HSK 6 level in the future.
I plan to live in the Greater Bay Area since I also have family in Hong Kong and Guangzhou but I am also open to exploring other areas. I just want to ask if there are any benefits of living in HK over the mainland? From what I know that the mainland is much cheaper, larger housing and more convenient in terms of getting goods, payments etc. HK benefits are that the salaries are higher with no tax, better airport and destinations for travel, open internet, better international amenities/cuisine and probably easier lifestyle and adjustment for someone raised in the west.
I was thinking if I want to remain in China and renounce my citizenship in the future, I could get HK citizenship after living there for 7 years but in terms of cost of living it seems like the mainland is better but HK seems better for people with higher incomes, travel, better passport and getting international goods but if I lived in GZ its close enough for a day trip anyways. Just wondering what are your thoughts?
One thing to note is that I value work life balance and don't wanna be a wage slave so I don't know if the work cultures differ a lot between the two. I am also into arts and music and I'm interested in some fringe and niche cultures and maybe some nerdy stuff.

India blames China for Pakistan's military intelligence. "When the DGMO level talks were going on, Pakistan said that we know that your such and such important vector is primed". They seem to underestimate Pakistan which is why the Rafale disaster happened. EU also blame China for Russia...
