I've made a list of all the hidden Mudan found so far!!
Hello there.
I've decided to make a list of all the hidden Mudan and easter eggs that are in the episodes and were shared here over the years so that that information could be found in only one place. From my understanding, the hidden Mudan started appearing at episode 18 from Trash Taste, and I could even find one instance of a After Dark livestream hidden Mudan.
I've made some statistics in the first sheet, a dedicated sheet for the Trash Taste episodes and one for the After Dark ones. For each episode, I've included the number, title, link, timestamp (when possible), link to the reddit thread and who found it! I've included timestamps for most of them, even though some of them were just a snippet or a screenshot. There's still 3 hidden Mudan in the list that I could not find the timestamp yet but maybe someone can help with that!
I hope it's okay sharing the link for the document here!

What’s the WORST “Take” From Each of the Boys?
In honor of the podcast name, what’s the WORST individual take from Joey, Garnt & Connor? Or just the worst take over all that you disagree with or is empirically WRONG! Lol

What do you guys use for reviews of movies/tv?
I noticed the gang talking about Imdb a lot and I was surprised because I stopped using them a decade ago at least. I started with Imdb like most people and noticed that it's so inaccurate and so open to manipulation. Propaganda movies get high scores on it. So I started using Rotten Tomatoes and noticed recently that I don't always care about the most fresh idea. Low budget horror movies get higher scores but it's not visually entertaining to me if cinematography isn't good and needed something better. I use Metacritic now and it's been better.
I checked some criterion videos on Youtube and I was surprised I never heard of most of those films. So I figured I'll check out Letterboxd and it seemed a much better Top 100 list than the Imdb list. Only some friends use Imdb because of regional movies and articles rarely mention it so I'm surprised the gang is still using it.

My fellow Southeast Asians, do you have this similar experience?
picture this: you're trying to go to bed, it's been a good hour or more since you've touched your device, you don't have anything in particular that you need to worry about the next day but you just cant sleep. Suddenly, your brain tells you "lie down on the floor, what's the worst that could happen?" You do so and the next thing you know, someone is asking you why you were on the floor. I personally experienced this, my friend's have similar stories but I want a broader range. Any of you SEA gang members who relate?

Anyone Else Feel Completely Lost When They Talk About Food?
I’ve watched every single episode of Trash Taste, but I only check the subreddit occasionally. I really enjoy the podcast, and it’s been a constant in my life for a while now, but there’s one thing that always makes me feel like an outsider in their conversations. Just wanted to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
Everyone knows how much they talk about food whether it’s Japanese food, foreign dishes, or snacks from convenience stores. It’s quite a upcoming topic. It’s entertaining, but honestly, I can’t relate at all. I live in a third-world country, and I have never tried any of the foods they talk about. Most of the time, I don’t even know what they’re describing, so I just have to imagine what it must taste like or what it even is.It’s a bit weird experience listening to them be so passionate about something I’ve never even had a chance to try.
It’s kind of funny because food is such a big part of their conversations, but for me, it’s like hearing about another world. It makes me wonder what it would be like to actually try all these things they hype up.
has anyone else had the same experience? Or maybe you’ve found a way to relate even if you haven’t tried the foods?
Of course, food isn’t the only thing I can’t relate to. There’s also the way they casually talk about traveling to different countries, going on trips to visit family, or just living in Japan with all the convenience and experiences that come with it. it all feels like a completely different reality from mine.
I mean, I hear celebrities and famous people talk about these kinds of things all the time, and it never really bothers me because that’s just the kind of life they have and they don't kind of feel like real people. But since I’ve been listening to Trash Taste for so long, I can’t help but feel a bit out of place like I’m sitting in on a conversation I was never meant to be part of. It’s not that I’m jealous or envious I don’t resent them for their experiences. But sometimes, it does make me feel a little pathetic, just realizing how far removed my own life is from everything they talk about.
Still, even with all that, I enjoy the podcast. It’s kind of nice to hear about a life so different from mine, even if I can’t fully relate.
