Why do alot of apex creators play on trashy graphics?
I hop around a lot of different content creators playing apex, Tiktok/Twitch etc, and i’ve noticed atleast 8/10 of them are playing on the lowest and worst graphics i’ve ever seen 😭 The whole game is unrendered unsaturated mush and i’m just as curious as to why? Is it a visibility thing?
Obviously this isn’t a gripe at them or anything i just wanna know if theres actually a reason 👀

I’ve Spent $0 on This Game — and I Don’t Feel Like I’m Missing Out
Just wanted to share this for anyone who feels they have to spend money to enjoy Apex.
I’ve been playing for two years, bottom tier Masters player and I haven’t spent a single dollar on the game itself. The only “extras” I have are gun skins that change the iron sights on guns like the R-99 or Wingman — and I crafted those with shards I got from free packs.
Most of the time I run plain skins or use the random legendary I pull from free Apex Packs. If I really love a character, I’ll grab their legendary skin with crafting mats — but again, never paid real money for those either. I don’t have an heirloom( honestly I forget they even exist) and I rarely check the store and those paywall events don’t even cross my mind
Honestly, I feel zero pressure to spend money. Cosmetics just don’t do anything for me half the time I forget I even have them lol. The base game is the same for everyone, your aim still matters way more than your cosmetics, and it’s actually satisfying to earn what I have.
So if you’re new or on the fence: you don’t have to buy skins to have fun. Play the game, enjoy the packs, craft what you like — and keep your wallet closed if you want.
Just my 2 cents. Curious if anyone else is still rocking the free-to-play life — how’s it working out for you?
EDIT: if you’ve spent money on the game I’m not condemning you for it I’m just sharing my personal experience with the game and how I feel. Not once in the OP did I judge anyone for spending money I just gave my two cents 🙏🏾💙

What is with the lack of E-District?
Okay so I’m gonna go on about this . But usually when we got a new map, they shoved it down our throat for a few seasons . And like yeah it got old eventually, and people got annoyed with it . And I’m aware I’m probably one of the few that actually enjoy E-District . But my god . I’ve been playing since s2 but when broken moon came out in s15 I quit apex for a while , map was bad , but my god all they did was just spam broken moon for over a year and nothing else ( minus s18 Halloween) and just kept spamming it. Yet we get a visually pleasing map, with a lot of varied designs and rotations and good fights , and it’s NEW. And outside of s22 it’s been a rare occasion to actually get the map . But will spam broken moon or storm point every season and split . I’m tired of seeing broken moon , or storm point . Not saying get rid of both, but like can one be put on the shelf for a season or two? Could be bias and say my fav ( Olympus) come back. But na . I just want e-district. And for all I know I see a lot of hate for kings canyon , get rid of that and throw in e-district then ? Idk . I know it’s all preference. But the lack of the newest map every season is just sad. In its short time I had a lot of good memories on that map , and it’s always gone it feels like .

When a random pubs mate isn’t that good but try, it’s like having an extra ultimate.
I don’t mind when someone isn’t as good as me if they’re trying to stick together. It’s a perk to me, they run into battle and yeah they get knocked but it’s like a lure, fish in a barrel

Caustic needs his slow effect back
No really. That’s literally all he needs for him to be viable again. People complained about the damage being too much and they nerfed him. People complained about the blinding effect so they reduced particles.
They also complained about the slow which at the time was valid due to the barrels being indestructible with few legends who could counter/escape it.
But now we have legends such as ash and alter who can tp out of the situation with ease. Hell, you can just break the damn barrel which mind you is now highlighted in a big red flare. So yeah, I think it is completely fair to bring the slow back especially when we have things such as ash snares that restrict movement as is.
