Being nice to your randoms goes a long way.
Lately I’ve been doing everything in my power to make my randoms experience more enjoyable.
Whether that be dropping gold backpacks for them dropping bats giving them 1st pick in the vaults on WE giving them my scopes/extended mags and sticking with irons till we win our first fight.
I’ve noticed after doing this for about a week now the overall vibe and synergy I’ve had with my randoms is a lot better.
I feel like they feel as though they’d fight to the death for me cause I gave up something really good for them. They always push with me they stay close by when we fight drop me heals if I ping that I need them.
Those of you who have been having horrible experiences with randoms, try being the good guy. Could completely change the outcomes of your games.

I love it when my boyfriend plays Apex
It's been a long running tradition of ours for me to watch his games. When we were apart, we'd call on Discord and I'd fall asleep as he played. We are now living together, and I love watching him play just as much.
In season 16, he grinded his way to Diamond rank and I closely watched every game and celebrated him when he made it. Whenever he gets a win or pulls of a good play, I get way more excited than him over it.
Whenever he gets a pack, I'm the one to open it and I always tell him to close his eyes. Recently, I pulled him a heirloom (he's a day one player, so took a WHILE lmao).
I also have a love for the backpacks in this game, and even if he's in the middle of a fight, if a backpack is seen, he must take it before anyone else.
And even though I have probably less than 30 hours on the game in total, I backseat game like I'm a goddamn predator. You'd think it annoys him, but it sometimes helps. If he's in the middle of a fight he may not notice some crucial things, like reviving his teammates as Lifeline. If he's distracted otherwise, he may not notice he's running low on ammo or shields, so I remind him. Most people would be pissed off, but I guess he likes it. Not always, though, but I don't think he'd have it any other way. I get to experience the thrill of the game without needing to do all the hard parts (the movement is terrifying), and he has someone who cares about his hobby.
Also, it's just so easy to put a smile on his face. If he's had a long day, I run to the store to pick up a Red Bull, and tell him he's obligated to play for me. Sometimes, he'll have a special game night where I buy him snacks and a selection of drinks for the evening. That's literally all it takes to put a smile on his face
I've also started to play on his account. Battle royale is way out of my league, so I mostly play mixtape. If you ever have a Pathfinder on your team who looks promising based off the trackers, badges, and heirloom, but is absolute shit and panicking most of the time, that could be me.
One day, I'll get my own PC and we'll play together. Right now, this little traditon of ours is the closest we'll get. :)

Seriously.....six damn weeks is too long. Make your precious Solos it's own LTM in a separate list. According to most of you, solos is the greatest thing since sliced bread, so you really shouldn't have a problem with it being populated. If it slows the duos queue (it won't), let that be our problem. Y'all go on and enjoy your sweaty Horizon, Path, Rev third party fest.
The rest of us who have exclusively played duos for years, would like our mode back. Taking out a basic mode for so long is ridiculous. Many of us play with one friend and that experience has been completely ruined.
And please don't give me the lines of....
-just play with a random or
-just no fill trios (we do, and it sucks)
Besides the fact it's been a basic mode for so long and makes no sense to delete for an extended period of time....there's the plain fact that some of us play with our one friend as a totally chill, hang out experience. We don't want to sweat with a random 3rd, and we don't want to always be at a disadvantage as a duo in trios. Also, some of us are just socially inept and prefer to play with our designated partner only. There are 100 reasons I could give as to why duos is important to some of us, but I shouldn't have to....
Just give it back, please.

Because it seems like 90% of people playing Control don't know this, if you get inside the yellow area you'll start capturing or contesting the point
Seems like it isn't common knowledge, I know the game name "Control" kinda sounds like "Team Death Match", but it's actually a bit different!
The point of this "Control" game, believe it or not, is to control points! You know those things you're constantly fighting on, 3 milimeters outside of the edge and going around it like there's some sort of curse inside that will burn your alive? That yellow line that kinda seems like you're not allowed to go in? It actually means you should go in!
I know, when you're driving a car and it becomes yellow you should slow down because it's going to be red, but here it actually means "get in here"!
To you, teammates who are capturing and then suddenly leave the area mid-capture, leaving the area alone? You need to make sure it fills all the way up!
Did you also know that when your ninja teammate captures the enemy base, they cannot respawn on B even though they have it? I know, who would know you could use this opportunity to capture B, that thing you should get inside!
I know, it's the hardest game mode to understand, I wish they would clear it up by giving it a better name, but it's easy to understand once you try it!

I am lodging a legal complaint against EA with the European Commission.
I was falsely banned from Apex Legends for "cheating" in March 2024. I have been playing the game since its release day, accumulating 3500 hours of gameplay and spending over $1700. I have always played legitimately and have never violated the TOS. Convinced that my ban was a mistake, I contested my ban on the dedicated page of the EA website. Each appeal is not handled by a human, and I receive completely automated responses stating that the sanction will not be lifted. It is impossible to get human contact or any technical support for my issue.
After spending so much time and money, my account is simply taken away without valid reason and without possible recourse.
Last week, I decided to file a legal complaint with the European Commission against Electronic Arts, demanding either the total unbanning of my account or a refund of the purchases made on Apex Legends (about $1700).
EA now has 24 days to respond to the complaint. I will update this post as I know I am not the only one who has lost their account under similar circumstances.
