Or.. and stick with me here… im consistently playing against top 100 preds who may be using certain technology that if I name, will get my post removed.
The math isn’t working for me here, 750 predators, and I died to the Top 7 playing with Top 16 and Top 13, and I’m Diamond IV… I don’t see how they could possibly be in my lobby.
I don’t know the exact number of masters that are on PS5 but I’m sure there’s consistently more than 50-60 people Masters+ that can be matched together at any given time. And I don’t want to hear “Well they’d just be playing the same people over and over again!”. They should be playing against people on their own skill level, not stomping around in low Diamond Lobbies that barely have enough Diamonds to allow dropzones.
Edit: I can fight masters, it’s discouraging fighting top 50 preds at Diamond IV. To the brave souls who mentioned the three letter word that stands for being able to beam with a Havoc 100m’s away, I agree with you. but this subreddit will drop a bomb on you if you mention it, hence why I avoided it.

The battlepass UI/UX is garbage
I recently came back to Apex Legends after three years away and decided to check out the battlepass. I regret it. Whatever team was responsible for this UI needs to seriously reconsider their approach, because what they shipped is, frankly, garbage.
I work in UI/UX design professionally. If I brought something like this to my company, I would be laughed out of the room and probably pulled into a meeting about my future there. That is not an exaggeration. Nothing about this interface is intuitive. Everything is scattered, inconsistent, and poorly thought out. You cannot even check what reward sits at a specific level, say level 75. That is a basic, foundational feature of any battlepass in any game. Its absence is baffling. There is a possibility that I am wrong and I just didn't know what button to press out of the 15 million available, but a well-designed UX should allow players to easily access this sort of information.
The inconsistencies alone would get this rejected in any serious design review. Why does clicking on one character give you three pages but another gives you two? Why does one UI element show 60 levels while another shows 100? These are not minor oversights. They are signs of a design process that lacked direction, proper QA or both.
The old battlepass UI was excellent. Clean, logical, easy to navigate with all relevant information accessible without a guessing game. It did not need to be replaced. Whoever made the call to scrap it in favor of this mess made the wrong call, and the players are the ones paying for it. This needs a serious overhaul.

How is it that I can’t hear my audio when shooting my gun and or ppl in wildcard since the release of the gundam event but you can add $500 heirlooms every 2 weeks sad to see how greedy they are and flat out don’t care abt anything but cosmetics

Loba ult is unable to deploy
The past couple days, I’ve had issues deploying the black market shop for Loba. 90% of the time it will use her bracelet instead of pulling out the shop. At first, I thought I was just bad at the game, but I was able to replicate it in the firing range.
Maybe it is a controller issue? But I don’t seem to have that issue on any of the other legends I try out in the firing range.
