Spaces is a note taking app it took us around 2 years to build. After analysing around 25 top note taking apps and changing design multiple times, we finally created the best note taking app we possible could.
It supports Instant Markdown with automatically hiding syntax.
Instant tagging using hashtags, and also custom filters.
A lot of other features missing from other apps like instant word count, multiple selection, in keyboard toolbar & more.
The design is totally distraction free (all button are at bottom). There is pinning, favorites, archive, bin, todos & more.
The app is built natively on each platform and is only Apply exclusive. Have been beta testing it for a long time and I think you all will really love it!

Why can’t I use my hotspot for AirPlay?
My WiFi is shit and therefore my show keeps buffering and freezing when I airplay it from my phone to my tv (app is Crunchyroll and it’s not on the tv App Store) my phone data is much stronger to use but it won’t let me use it and the hotspot to airplay the show to my tv. Any way around this?

Genius Bar reservations are pointless...
I scheduled an appointment for my crackling AirPod Pros at the Apple Store in Cincinnati after customer service told me they couldn’t help me and I had to either send them in for service (and have them put a hold on my credit card for the retail price) or take them into a store. I waited a week to finally get a reservation, which I scheduled for the 3:30-3:45 check-in time, and now at 3:57 I am still the 6th person in line and have been waiting since 3:29. So what is the point of making a reservation? There’s people in front of me who had a later time slot so why do they get to go ahead of me?
I know, first world problems, but it’s just silly to even make people waste the time to make the appt when they’re not even going to follow their own appt schedule.

Extremely minor typo on Apple.com that has been overlooked for months
For some reason, the English Hong Kong support page for iPhone display repairs lists the iPhone 11 Pro as “Phone 11 Pro”.
The weird part is that it’s been there since last May, and was seemingly introduced by a layout redesign. It gets even weirder when you realize that the error wasn’t fixed when they updated it for the iPhone 12.

Hi r/Apple,
After spending 2 years building, iterating & improving, we finally created Spaces. Create beautiful notes, add infinite tags & connect everything via backlinks, all in real time.
To build the best possible experience we analysed over 25 top writing apps (including Bear, Agenda, Things, Ulysses, iAWriter & more) to create the best design & add most essential features.
Our main vision while building Spaces was to create a clean, distraction-free writing environment. Here's what we built to achieve that:
1. Instant Markdown with automatically hiding syntax (as soon as you move your cursor away).
2. Instant tagging using hashtags with unlimited nesting.
3. Focus Mode & Mark Line that highlights the current line/paragraph.
4. Automatic suggestion of tags based on your past usage.
5. No need of selecting a word to format it, just put your cursor on it & choose the formatting.
6. Live updating word count in the toolbar (in touchbar for MacOS).
Apart from editor, we also paid a lot of attention to design.
1. Placed majority of the options at the bottom for better UX (phones are getting bigger) & so that the user never sees any option while the keyboard is open.
2. Added drag & drop support, keyboard shortcuts & a spotlight like search.
3. Added small, less noticed but essential things missing from other writing apps like multiple selection, proper sectioning between pinned & unpinned notes, add to favorites, sub formatting inside todos, lists and headings etc.
We’ve been beta testing it for around 5 months, did a soft launch recently and we’ve received great response along with lots of feature requests. Can’t wait to hear what you guys think :)

PS - Last time we posted (2 weeks back), the post was removed in a few minutes because of not being active in the community. Have been active since then and took the permission of mods before posting. Anyways, the suggestions we got during that time have all been implemented. So the app is even better now :)

m1 pro 13" vs pro 16"?
i need some advice about new purchase of a macbook pro. i've been using the 2014 13" macbook air (which now can't really handle editing softwares without heavy breathin or is too slow to render etc., dying battery + not enough memory whatsoever) until now that i have enough money to buy a new one, but i'm still confused about whether i should get the 16" macbook pro or the m1 13" macbook pro.
i'm an art/design student + my main usage would be graphic design, editing high res images and occasionally editing videos. i have the budget to buy either but obviously would prefer to spend less if it's possible, just want to get the best value one / best investment and i'm a bit confused abt the terminology so would appreciate the help!!

Adding AppleCare+ to Airpods Pro from home
I bought a pair of Airpods Pro on Amazon in November. They were much cheaper there than their official price, and with Amazon's generous return policy, I figured I could try them to see if I liked them. And I do. I found that you have 60 days after purchase to buy Applecare+, and I was gonna wait until right before that deadline so I could be absolutely sure that I wanted to buy them. But the deadline is approaching and I can't do it. Putting in the serial number tells me that they're not eligible. I think it's because the online version considers the purchase date to be whenever Amazon got their stock from Apple.
Ordinarily I'd just up and go to the Apple store, but the place I live in just started a new 4 week lockdown so that's not an option. Is there any way for me to set up apple care now? Or am I just screwed?

Battery problems from iPad OS 14.2 and 14.3
Hello everyone! I've been struggling with a huge problem with my iPad for a few weeks: since I updated the software to 14.2 and now to 14.3, the charging seems to be "stucked": e.g. it gains 5% in 4 hours. Furthermore, if I use it when it is in charge, battery starts to drain. Some advice? Is there someone that has experienced the same problem? Thank you in advance.

Unpopular Opinion, I actually don’t want more I/O than 4 Thunderbolt Ports
I personally love the minimalistic approach Apple has taken for the past couple of years. While I do believe 2 USB-C ports for any laptop of any price point is unacceptable, I’ve been very pleased with my 4 port MacBook 16”. I tend to use a one cable setup with a thunderbolt dock which can drive basically everything, a display, ssds, harddrives, pass through chargering, midi keyboard, headphones, Ethernet, thunderbolt daisy chaining, and then an extra 3USB-C ports on the MacBook for more. Ik thunderbolt docks can get expensive, so it can be replaced with a $40 dongle which has nearly all these functions others than thunderbolt. So why not add more ports?
Looking back at all the pre-2016 models, I wasn’t a fan of how it looked. Ik it sounds stupid, but I feel like I really dig the minimal look that only 4 identical USB-C ports on the sides have. And if you are a professional that doesn’t think the “pro” (non-m1 models rn) models don’t have enough I/O, chances are you probably already have dongles. Or even a Thunderbolt dock to route all your devices through one or 2 cables because the additional I/O that Apple might add wouldn’t be enough for you anyways.
TLDR: I feel like Thudnerbolt and USB-C is more matured accessible now more than ever, to the point where I do not even need any more I/O than 4 Thunderbolt ports.
This is all MY experience and what I IMAGINE is other’s experiences. Do you guys have similar or different experiences? Do yall still feel like more I/O is necessary for your workflow?

The reader gets access to all the articles released during the period of their subscription. This is like PS Plus, Xbox Live Gold and Stadia Pro but the users doesn't have to claim articles.
Any articles released not during the period of their subscription would be accessed by paying for the news organizations own specific paid service with a deep discount.
Magazines could be part of the subscription or be available in a more expensive tier of News+ or have Apple introduces it as a separate subscription.
$5/month for students, $10/month base and $15/month family.
If the cost is low for a sustainable business then add advertising but $1 or $2 more for no ads.
$7/month for students, $12/month base and $17/month family.
