Kygo’s new album
What do you guys think about his new album? I'm a huge fan of Avicii and also listen to Kygo's music, but when I listened to the new album, it felt different, like it was lacking soul and meaning. Before, it felt more like Avicii. I don't want to spread hate or anything; this is just my opinion, and I want to know yours too. Thanks!

Levels In My Mind
https://youtu.be/z27AVD-dmPo?si=8t8UwoWQ9E5HO6CH
Hello everyone!
I’ve been watching some old live sets from Tim, and while he did his TrueTour it seems he uses a sort of mix between In My Mind (the intro part) and Levels, see the video listed above at timestamp 1:21:24. Where after the buildup the vocals immediately starts playing.
Now my question, does anybody have this kind of mix or remake in HQ so i can use this in my upcoming set? Or maybe only the Levels part where it switches to the vocals? It would be a real nice add to my set!
Thanks in advance,
Tim

Song name?
My first Avicii concert was in Malmö once a long time ago, amazing set, and there was one song (probably not Tims) that has been stuck in my head ever since I heard it at the show.
I recorded it so I’m curious to see if anyone knows the name of the song.

"The essence of Tim's music" or "why we should remember him as Tim, not Avicii?"
So many people consider themselves inspired by Avicii, but when you listen to their music, you get the feeling that they have understood the essence of Avicii's music too formally, for almost all of their tracks sound like tracks from the 2013-16 period.
So what is Avicii's style to them? It's jazz notes, it's nexus, it's a certain type of melodies, vocals. With such a narrow and abstract idea of Tim's music, such people often complain about how much EDM has deteriorated and that there is no better music around. Tim himself would have scolded them well for that, just like he scolded that Oasis dude for refusing to evolve musically and treating everything as one genre of music. And I understand these people, I was like that myself, but I don't agree with them.
Actually Avicii's style is about having no style at all, having no boundaries. Tim wasn't afraid to do things that would be drastically different from people's ideas of his style. He even said in one interview that it was a revelation to him that people thought he had style. "Only by becoming nothing will you become everything," says Buddhism. Tim's music was brave enough to become nothing, and as a result his music became everything. You'll hear in it jazz pianos, Indian violins, funky guitars. Can't Love You Again sounds like if it was taken from 60's French noir movies. But he wasn't carrying about this side of music.
His unspoken idea is to use all available musical means to express your or someone's else most personal human thoughts/feelings. To express not for the sake of expressing them, but to find common ground between oneself and other people. Why Tim was doing that?
Man is a social animal, and by sharing some of your personal experiences and thoughts that no one talks about, you make them social, "humanize" them, and make them understandable to yourself and others. A feeling or thought expressed through art and understood by other people ceases to be unreal and becomes the most real human thing that we experience together. And this is what not only Tim, but for example Balzac was doing or other any great artist. And this is what called art.
Such creativity can never create artificial intelligence, because for such a thing you have to be a human being among humans, and experience human feelings and think human thoughts. It is not enough to be interested in music, you have to be interested in the whole human culture. And that's the big problem of our time, and people like Tim are rare not out of reason:
"clown who amuses the audience in the circus has to train himself as a clown around the clock, without rest, otherwise he won't stand competition with other, more diligent clowns and will sink a step lower, wearing a janitor's uniform instead of a jester's hat with bells. And that's why he's always and everywhere just a clown. He has neither time nor energy for anything else. Exactly the same thing society does with the banker, with the highly paid lackey, with the engineer, and with the mathematician. That is why professional cretinism becomes here not only a fact, but also a virtue, a norm, even a kind of ideal, a principle of personal education, to which everyone tries to conform in order not to sink to the bottom of society, not to become a simple, unskilled labor force..."
Needless to say, Tim was deliberately going against this understanding of things. In a recent documentary he said: "I don't think of myself as a music producer, I think of myself as Tim." In order to become a good musician, you have to stop wanting to become musician. You should try to become a human, not a clown or music producer. Tim was a human, who saw his personal problems as part of the problem of humanity as a whole to be solved. He tried to solve it with music, and that's why he became what he became. And that is why we should remember Avicii not as an artist and musician, but as a human, just like us.

What is the most touching Avicii song for you?
For me, it's probably Heaven. It has such a celestial, intimate atmosphere and became even sadder thematically after Tim's death. Some parts of the lyrics are so hopeful (We're gonna be birds and fly, we're gonna set the world alight), while others describe devastating circumstances (beaten and bathed in blood; when I'm beaten and broken up)
