Avicii's Death
Man the loss of this guy was so hard to hear about. I remember like in late 2017 early 2018 i was scrolling on these music channels where they play music from different artists (with music video of course) and lonely together comes on.
This was a time when i was deep into hip hop and the rap scene and the slow melodic music was not my thing. So when i saw the credits i was shocked to see its Avicii. I had not heard from him since Hey brother and The Nights as those were my favourites. Like alot alot.
So i was surprised he still made music. Maybe i was naive or maybe they were not pushed as much but that was my thoughts on that day. A few months later i hear he died and was so devastated. To suicide especially.
Man i was so confused, how? Why? His death was hard to swallow for many...felt unreal. I could not believe that the guy who made my all time hits was no more😢
Way later i just hear a class mate blasting a song and it was so good. I ask him and he says its Avicii. I think it was Waiting for love.
I decided to check his discography and damn... Avici 01 was all i played throughout 2018 and 2019. Put my friends on "Without you" and "You be love" and they liked it. It was a fun time that i think about.
Rest in peace Avicii...you will be missed. You gave me some of my most favourite songs of all time. That i never forgot.

Avicii's Biography
Hey all, I read Avicii's biography not too long ago. I would say it was definitely healing and an eye-opening experience. I got to read what Avicii was going through, and all of a sudden more of his music started to make sense... but in a deeper meaning? Of course, I have always been a big fan of his music, but this really made me feel connected. Would you say your perception of Avicii changed? Whether that's him or his music?

Add QR Codes in Tims biography
Maybe I’m wrong, and it’s not right, but most of the books I’m reading say things that aren’t true in real life, right? But in Avicii’s book, I think it would be amazing if there were QR codes that I could scan with my phone to find the people or songs they’re talking about. What do you think? I believe this would enhance the user experience.

Discovered Wake Me Up recently. Just wow.
I am 34 and just didn’t like the EDM scene around me in Atlanta because I saw the whole picture long before the world did. I was around an insane amount of drugs but seeing what it did to most people I knew, I just stuck to weed, occasional psychedelics.
I’m sober today and this song has been helping me keep going with that. Reading up on Avicii makes my heart so heavy, I know that feeling. I’m not gonna get too into it but I can relate the whole sensitive-artist working within the Machine vibe.
Can you please recommend more songs like this? Or is this just his Smells Like Teen Spirit?
