Just bought my first 100$ worth of BTC
I've heard about BTC way back when I was a teenager in 2012 - 2013 and at first I didn't think much of it (which I sorely regret), and since I didn't really have any income I never looked into buying into it.
I'm a young adult and office worker nowadays, and I can't help but feel like a dumbass for not looking into this sooner, but nevertheless I just bought my first 100 bucks worth of BTC, and am considering on making it a monthly investment - I don't have any other investments by the way, I just never had the money for it... too many bills to pay and whatnot - but I'm making some extra money now and thought I'd invest it in something that might have a real future.
I'm just getting started, an still have to do a lot of research, but if you have any advice for a total noob like myself, it would be very much appreciated!

Lightning on Coinbase 👍🏻
I have to say, after sending a transaction using Lightning on CB, it was totally seamless and flawless…. No having to start a CB wallet, or opening a wallet within a wallet, no errors, no inbound/outbound liquidity to deal with, no opening channels, no forced-closures, etc… Quite simply: No bullshit.
I’m a maxi, but what most maxis don’t get is that regular people will NEVER use or adopt Lightning unless the experience is EXACTLY how it currently is on Coinbase. Like, they can just use Cashapp or Venmo then…
Anyhow, good job to Coinbase. You may want to advertise it more though…

DataDash is a Joke
This post could be about any number of "crypto influencers", but I chose DataDash because this guy is just consistently, hilariously wrong. Here are some of his video thumbnails overlaid onto the BTC price chart. The arrows represent the exact date of upload. He was bullish all the way down in 2022 and has been bearish since the bottom.
This is a guy that claims to be an "expert" and sells a monthly newsletter.
To any newcomers to this space - do not be fooled by the charlatans trying to sell you expert advice or trading tips. Just stack BTC and hold for the long term - it really is that simple. Otherwise you'll sell the bottom trying to make a quick trade and end up a permabear like this fool.
