In your opinion, what is the coolest nickname given to a Cricketer by fans, commentators or media?
My personal favourite is the Turbanator given to Harbhajan Singh by Aussie media after he destroyed Australian batting by taking 28 wickets in 2 matches. I think it is apt for one of the greatest spinners of India. What do you think.

Important personal request
I need 11 November 2023 ICC world cup match held in Pune between Australia & Bangladesh complete replay. My grandfather recently passed away and he was the biggest cricket enthusiast I’ve ever known. He witnessed hundreds of live matches but this one was his last cause he went into paralysis just a week later and passed away a week before. He was a die hard cricket fan and loved Australia’s team after India and witnessed their every match held in India. I want to have that match as memory of his because there were few glimpses of him on the camera and I want to keep it as memory of his last match. If anyone could help me it’d be greatly appreciated and I would definitely owe you one.

Shreyas, KKR captain: "The last six matches in the dressing room there has been havoc, team-mates are coming in and asking what's happening, we are losing tosses, but we are winning games that's what matters. To be honest, we don't assess the total from the first few overs. Anything close to 200 is a great score, whatever we got after that was extra. Great start by both openers, they have been phenomenal. We have to be flexible with left-right combination, bowlers have to change their approach with this, as this plays into bowlers' mind. on uncapped players It's all about freedom, to go out and express. Narine, player of the match: "I think the most important thing is starting well. Support staff have been backing me. It's been working for me, hope it works for the rest of he tournament. It's about picking what you are gonna do on that particular day with your strengths, you have to be smarter. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. on bowling with Chakravarthy It's going very well with Varun, he is picking wickets, making my job easier. He is a hard worker."
Rana: "The only thing was we didn't want to leave anything behind; we just wanted to qualify for the playoffs. Our coaches asked us to bowl the suitable lengths on this surface - hit the hard length, and don't try too much. That is where I my focus was, and that is what benefitted me. I have concentrated a lot on bowling, as to whether I can do something else. I've talked to a few people, and have myself tried to know what I can do better. Russell taking wickets is extremely helpful - when he takes wickets, it helps tilt the momentum on our side."
Rahul, LSG captain: "Lot of runs. Poor performance overall. It was a big total. Like I said, It's a poor performance with both bat and ball. Narine in powerplay puts a lot of pressure. Our bowlers couldn't handle this pressure. That's how the IPL is. You will come against good players and that's when you will be tested. Wicket is very good. There is a bit of bounce if you bowl hard length. It wasn't a bad pitch. 235 was 20-30 runs were above par. Our batting was poor. We prepare in advance, we talk about the opposition batters, trying to see what kind of plans we need to come up with. We need to execute it when we come here, but we didn't, we made a couple of mistakes against Sunil and anyone who strikes well. Once we go back to dressing room, we move on from this game and see where we went wrong. Last home game, we are on the road for the next few games, we need to be little bit more fearless."

**Ravindra Jadeja, Player of the Match:** (On the pitch) It was a day game, so the wicket was slow. As usual, it was expected because it was so hot. (On the batting innings) We had a good powerplay but did not get partnerships in the middle overs. I was trying to build a good partnership to then tee off at the end. (On their bowling performance) The fast bowlers bowled well in the powerplay. Tushar got two important wickets and then Mitch and me did the job in the middle overs. It (the pitch) always seems flat in the powerplay. But when the ball gets old, the ball does not always come on. When playing at a new venue, you don't know how much it will turn or stop. We thought we were 15-20 runs short but we did not bowl loose balls in the powerplay and the middle overs. My role as a batter is to build partnerships and then play the big shots towards the end. Sometimes, when we lose wickets in the powerplay, we do not get momentum. In the matches we win, we play all phases well.
**Ruturaj Gaikwad, Chennai Super Kings captain:** (On losing the toss again) After you win the game, everyone says good you lost the toss but it does matter to me (smiles). Everyone believed that the wicket was slow and that it was coming off slow. There was low bounce too. Just the start we got, we could have pushed to 180-200. We lost wickets in consecutive balls and then felt 160-170 was probably ten odd runs short. But the way it played in the second innings, it was par. (On Simarjeet's pace) I don't know what he is doing but in the pre-season we had, he was bowling at around 150s. We had Deepak, Shardul, Tushar plus Pathirana and Fizz, so he did not get too many changes. Nothing is late, he got a game today. We were thinking of sending an impact batter but we thought the impact batter would score 10-15 runs but the bowler might get us 2-3 wickets. (On the win) A sigh of relief with the injuries we had. Not even sure about who was going to play on the morning of the match, so really happy with that (the win).
**Sam Curran, Punjab Kings captain:** I thought we bowled really well as a group. Rahul Chahar bowled really well, and the way Harshal Patel finished off. We were happy as a group at the half-way stage but unfortunately, it was not meant to be. We thought it (the pitch) was going to be slightly quicker, have more bounce. It was a bit slower but it was similar throughout the game. We have a couple of days off and then we play against RCB. We have to move on and keep fighting hard.
**Tushar Deshpande:** Very happy today because it was a low-scoring game. This was the game we wanted to win badly. (On how he felt coming back from illness) I tried my best to play the last game but couldn't. It was in my mind that I wanted to give my best. It was a crunch game. At high altitude, the ball does something and my job was to take wickets. (On the pitch) It was a bit slow if we bowled into the pitch. We knew if we hit those lengths, it was tough to play horizontal shots.

Mohammed Siraj is Player of the Match for his powerplay burst and figures of 2 for 29: "I was actually sick since last night and wasn't going to play at all today, so this is great. When I got up this morning I thought it was better to rest but the almighty made me play. I kind of manifested it this morning because I envisioned it in a way that I would get Saha out like that, caught behind. I had been playing red-ball cricket for long and hadn't played with the white ball since the ODI World Cup. So my rhythm was missing a little bit when I came here. But it came back gradually as I worked and practised more and more."
Shubman Gill: Setting target "It depends on the wicket. First couple of overs you get a good idea and play according to that. I think 170-80 on this wicket would have been a good total. How we batted in the powerplay, and how they bowled, decided the game. We would have had one extra bowler but losing three wickets in the powerplay changed planning. Very important to start from zero in our next match and move on from this game. Learn from mistakes and not repeat them. All about winning from here on."
Dinesh Karthik: "Started with a cup of tea, then after four overs I had a cappuccino and thought I wouldn't be batting. Things happened and then I had to have a bat. Approach How to hit boundaries, basic cricketing skills come through. I backed myself to get the job done. The pitch was good to bowl on, having been under the covers there was a bit of moisture. Good toss to win but they bowlers did the job beautifully. The way Faf and Virat batted, I don't think they would have played the same shots batting first! Swapnil advice Play for the one that comes in. Said the sweep is a good option, but commite to it."
