Update: received my money back from Celsius after 2-3years
Hello,
Europoor here,
I posted a month ago to know if there refund from the bankruptcy that Celsius was fake or not because it asked many details like passport and phone number.
And also it used Hyperwallet from PayPal which sounded dodgy as fuck.
But i did ll the studf even though i coudnt find much info online about this and checked that it was celsius.hyperwallet in the main adress.
Anyway, they finally gave me 600 pounds that I had to have a locked diamond hand as they got bankrupt and I couldn't get my money back.
Funny thing is that as BTC increased in value I also got more money out than in (would have been better off not playing with bankrupt Celsius though).
So yes it was a long process but I got money back, and as I have not seen anyone else talk about it here I wanted to inform you that it worked.

Can someone explain to me like I'm a baby how why stablecoins are useful?
To add to this question, how does a company like CRCL make money off of "issuing" USDC. How does one just "issue" a coin. I get that you want a coin that is pegged to the dollar. But doesn't this defeat the purpose of wanting your assets tied to a currency that depreciates due to inflation (the dollar)?
I've heard when you buy crypto, you first buy a stable coin first. Maybe I don't see this buying through a broker like robinhood or coinbase, but when i buy BTC, I use cash dollars in my robinhood and/or coinbase account. What am I not getting here. Why tf would I want a stable coin?

Odds and how whales are pushing for a narrative that Zelensky didn't wear a suit.
The rules are simple, consensus of credible reporting. And every news media in the world has acknowledged Zelensky wears a suit at NATO summit (albeit not a traditional one).
Several news channel like Kyiv posts, bbc are reporting he wore a suit all over the world
And i could go over and over on this. Even the suit designer called it a suit.
The fact Polymarket allows this kind of stuff should seriously hurt the platform, and I encourage everyone to raise the voice to stop this kind of scams.
Close polymarket or at least make them be legit and not at the mercy of manipulators.
Please I just want this to not be forgotten, doesn't matter if it resolves to Yes or No, i want the community to be aware of whats going on so you avoid this kind of sites and hopefuly noone falls for it expecting fair stuff.
