No offense to your favorite L2… but let’s be real.
While most of crypto Twitter is debating sequencer decentralization or gas compression rollouts, people here in Kinshasa, Lagos, and Nairobi are using USDT (on Tron mostly) to:
✅ Send cross-border remittances
✅ Pay rent
✅ Avoid 25%+ inflation
✅ Run small businesses with dollar pricing
It’s not glamorous. It’s not DeFi-native yield vaults. But it’s working.
And to be honest?
Sometimes “just works” > “fully decentralized but unusable.”

Hindsight is 20/20 yes you would've sold, we all would've.
I've seen a lot of posts on here of people missing out on different crypto booms. They feel defeated like they did something wrong etc. If this is you, don't worry, you would've sold, we all would have.
No crypto, no alt, not even Bitcoin has has a boom where it was "smart" to hold. When Bitcoin went from pennies to $1+ people were staring at monumental gains, anyone in investing knows taking profits is the "smartest" move, nothing is guaranteed. In order for you, me, or anyone else to have cashed in on Bitcoin we would have to watch our money go from 100x dropping nearly 90% then back to 50x again then back down then up 1000x etc. You get the point? There is nowhere in there where it makes sense to hold through all of that.
Anyone who saw their investment 1000x and didnt cash out was gambling, and yea in hindsight it paid off, but the last thing you want to do is be holding any investment all the way to zero when you could've cashed out gains.
The only way any of us wouldve made millions off Bitcoin would be if we forgot about our keys then found them again, or had the most stone cold conviction to hold through every swing.

Experience Using a Crypto Exchange with Built-In Social Trading Features
Just wanted to share my experience after signing up for a crypto exchange that has a built-in social network. I’ve used a few platforms before, but this was my first time trying one where you can actually interact with other traders directly, see what they’re doing, and even copy their trades if you want.
At first, I was a little skeptical about the whole “social” aspect. I thought it might just be a gimmick, but it’s actually been pretty helpful. There’s a public feed where people post their trades, strategies, and sometimes just random thoughts about the market. I’ve found a couple of users who are pretty transparent about their wins and losses, and following their thinking has helped me understand why they make certain moves. It’s a lot less lonely than just staring at charts by yourself.
The copy trading feature is interesting. I tried it out with small amounts, following a couple of traders who post detailed explanations for their trades. I didn’t get rich overnight or anything, but I did learn a lot about risk management and how different people approach the same market conditions. There’s definitely a risk if you blindly copy someone, so I make sure to read up on their track record and reasoning before putting any money in.
What I like most is that you can ask questions and get real answers from people who are actually trading, not just random influencers shouting about the next moon shot. There’s a sense of community, and it’s easier to stay motivated when you see others learning and sharing their progress too.
Overall, I think the social features make the experience more interactive and educational. It’s not perfect there are still some loud voices and hype, but if you filter through that, you can find some genuinely helpful people. If you’re tired of trading in isolation, it’s worth checking out a platform with these social elements.
