What It Really Means to Be a Rich Man♥️
I understand this may, probably will get taken down but I wanted to put it out there even for a moment. I know we are all excited about price action but please keep in mind that isnt everything, not by a long shot. Yes, I love that the market is pumping today and probably will for some time but never forget what is really important.
My dad passed away in 2021 from cancer. Even if/when BTC gets to its vaulted 1million USD per coin none of that will bring him back. And you best believe I would give up my stack to get him back. Stay safe and don't forget to live.

Are we in a bull market without retail?
This cycle feels different. Bitcoin is hitting new highs, ETFs are pulling in billions, and institutions are clearly buying. But retail interest still seems low. Google searches are quiet, meme coins aren’t exploding, and the usual hype just isn’t here yet.
Is this a new kind of bull run, driven mostly by institutions?
Or is retail just late this time?
Also, if retail never really comes back, does that mean altseason might not happen like before?

# Why This Matters
Roman is facing years in prison for publishing open-source privacy software — tools anyone could freely use. At the time, the only official guidance (from FinCEN) said developers of such software weren’t money transmitters. Yet in August 2023, U.S. authorities arrested him, charging conspiracy, unlicensed money transmission, and sanctions violations.
The DOJ’s narrative misrepresents the facts:
Roman and his co-founder "never operated a service" — they only published code.
They added filters in their web wallet code to block sanctioned addresses but couldn’t control forks of their software.
The prosecution hinges on a "novel legal theory": that "money transmission" applies even without custody of funds.
This case sets a dangerous precedent: if developers can be punished for misuse of open-source code, innovation and privacy in crypto are at risk. The First Amendment protects code as speech — yet prosecutors treat it like an afterthought, even resorting to absurd analogies (comparing money transmission to "a frying pan conducting heat").
# The Situation Now
Roman’s trial began July 14, 2025, in Manhattan. What was expected to last 2 weeks may now stretch 3-4, with skyrocketing costs for expert witnesses, research, and legal fees. The defense fund urgently needs "another $1.5M" to sustain the fight.
The Ethereum Foundation has stepped up with "$500K" and will "match community donations up to $750K" — doubling your impact.

What is your biggest crypto regret?
Its that time of the year when while theres a select group of people euphoric, there are conversely another group of people who are in full cope and regret mode….and that includes me.
Its time to share your biggest crypto blunders. Whether its stolen crypto, lost in a trade, sold too early, etc…Let it out here and suffer with your bros.
I’ll start:
I got into crypto in 2017 as literally the entire top 50 was starting to run (IIRC ETH to $50-70). My trade thesis was simple: “what hasnt pumped yet?” did about a days worth of research and subsequently dumped $20k into XRP. First got in about $10k in at 0.006 cents and it pumped to like 7cents a week later. Bought another $10k on the retrace back to 2.5cents.
Held thru the 2018 short lived pumped to $3. Didnt sell a penny. Blockfolio said $6mm.
Held thru all the way until SEC sued Ripple and that shook me to the core. Couldnt hodl after that and sold. I still came out in significant profit from my initial capital. Took a few hundred $k’s out over a few months, put back into BTC and ETH before the 2021 run up.
Somehow made it back to $2.5mm. Held. Lost mostly all of it on the dump into bear market.
Started the current cycle with very few wins. Started dabbling in shit coins, memes, etc... Long story short, im down to 4-figures in crypto. While i got way more out of the market than what I put in, its still devastating.
How much would I have if I just held XRP until today? $8mm. Thats beyond life changing for me. I would’ve changed lives of not only my immediate family but many relatives and very close friends.
