How the hell did we kill Smasher?
Seriously, the thing is a genuine tank. Top shelf black ICE, literal tank armor, enough strength to probably charge through a 5' thick concrete wall, not to mention he survived a literal nuke to the face and seemingly only came back stronger. Meanwhile, V has an assortment of guns (as effective as peashooters against tank armor), potentially a really nice cyber deck (best on the market still shouldn't be able to do shit to Smasher's ICE), and a death wish (which Smasher is more than happy to accommodate.) What is a realistic way for V to take out Smasher? The only thing I can think of is corrosive acid or a tech rifle, but if it was that simple Militech would have taken him out decades ago right?

Let’s Be Real About the Future of Cyberpunk Updates
Guys, why is everyone so mad about the update?
Realistically, we're going to be getting smaller updates which is exactly what they said. No one ever promised, "We're making another Phantom Liberty."
They mentioned that Virtuos would be handling these smaller updates, which may include new characters and gigs, minor side missions, new weapons, clothing, visual improvements, and better optimization.
But nothing on the scale of, "Let’s make another massive DLC" or "Here comes a whole new district." That’s just not realistic.
The main CDPR team is fully focused on Witcher 4, and Project Orion, and Virtuos simply doesn’t have the resources or capacity to deliver something like Phantom Liberty and I don’t mean that as an insult to them, it’s just the reality of the situation.

For anybody who is not aware: CDPR allows Steam users to play on older patches by opting into the "beta" versions via the game's "properties" window. This is very useful if you have mods that haven't been updated to support version 2.3!
