What was it you discovered that made you realize how dark and grim the Cyberpunk world is?
Spoilered for deeper lore stuff, just in case.
Learning that a virus was bio-engineered to annihilate most (if not all) plant life on Earth to render the War on Drugs dead as a doornail (at least for a time). And the drug used on the Red Ochre Nomad Clan from Biotechnica. That stuff was the sort of wake-up for me.
