After 1100 hours I thought I had seen every main quest variation, but-
At the end of Act 1 as you wake up to see Johnny for the first time, there is a moment where you turn your back on him and start walking towards the door to leave the apartment and he will invariably attack you and knock you to the floor. I've played this sequence maybe 15 times since 2020 and only this time did I realise there is a special variation on this scene:
If you take a wide berth over the sofa and hug the wall you can make it all the way to the door without Johnny knocking you on your ass somewhere near the middle of the room. However, when you open the door, Johnny is waiting for you on the other side and lunges at you, after which the scene proceeds as expected. It is an entirely needless detail that probably only a percent of all players will ever witness, but this is CDPR so of course they go 110%.

The NUSA ending of CP 2077 altered my brain chemically
To go off this. I think i wanna say, seeing V blend into the crowd, the change to 3rd person to show we are no longer V and V has to define themselves again without us, the way they are not even a fraction of the glory and gain they were 2 years prior, gosh it just hits the soul in such a impactful and powerful way. I wanted to say what this reminded me of because I’ve felt this many times bc of one circumstance. Listening to old folks talk about their youth.
When you ask older people, the ones on rocking chairs, in retirement homes, browsing the grocery aisle, all those types of folks what their life was like. The ones who talk about the glory, the rebellion, the adventure, and gains they made in life before they settled into the crowd or their age, its a bittersweet end ya know? My grandfather, he traveled around the world, was a coal miner, a banker, a police officer, a soldier. He played racket ball in Saudi Arabia, he married and met my lola in the philippines and took her away from a life of street work to the states where she would restart her life with my father and uncle. All accumulated to him having cancer and passing away due to it, and my Lola working at walmart for the rest of her years and passing from dementia. When you get to the end of the peak the high of life, and see where they are now its like wow you were… everything in a sense. Maybe not having it all but having experienced it all in some form and then diagnosed with cancer, settled in a new state with new people, watching your kids try to make a name for themselves, and then telling your grandchild what they missed or like me, finding out of about them through letters, photos, job cards, etc. It just, wow I truly can’t name the feeling. Maybe like if my heart was full and empty at the same time?
All this to say, whether you hate it or not, the ending I mean; I sit and think about the V that picks up the pieces of their life. Maybe settles down finally, tells their possible grandkids or the random youth on the streets what life he/her lived, the glory, loss, and stakes. And then they’re just another old folk, a name on the tip of the tongue, a face people can’t quite remember, sitting on a chair outside of a shop, people watching, and blending into the crowd. Something about that changed me and I don’t think I could really tell you what changed, but something did.
Any thoughts chooms?

I didn't realize until now that V's Garage
...connects to the highway directly from the top level. I wish there was a way to pin that location so the map pathfinding leads me to it all the time. I hate getting into the garage from street level because of all the dumbass pedestrians.

Cyberpunk has the best depiction of conflicting morals and gray area I’ve seen in a game. (Spoilers for PL)
While we are used to the whole “Boo Corpos, they suck!!” Mentality, the game has done a fantastic job portraying how people in Night City have their own agendas.
Most encounters in the game have choices that YOU, the Player, have to come to a conclusion on whether or not you did the “Right” thing. But that’s just it, the game often shows you that some outcomes benefit certain parties. Whether or not they are “Wrong” or “Right” is all for you to decide.
I think the best way the game has shown this, is in the DLC. When you begin, you are told that it is of the utmost importance to save the President. So Mi guides you, and for a while, depending on how you are as a person, you either want to root for So Mi, or be in the NUSA’s good graces.
Then of course, it is explained that So Mi has her own personal reasons why she wants the cure. And is willing to lie and betray you, Reed, and Myers. Again, depending on who you are, you could be hurt by this revelation, deciding to hate So Mi’s guts. Or you hate the NUSA.
It’s all about how YOUR feelings affect the story’s outcome. I don’t wanna hear about what was the “Objectively” better decision. Do not listen to anyone else. You pick what you feel is right to YOU.
The same can be said for the rest of the game’s story, too. All in all, I adore how this game really makes you question what you really want to do. Some may share your POV, others won’t. That’s the beauty of this game’s story.
What choices have you made in Cyberpunk, DLC or base game, that you firmly believe in, because that’s what you’d pick?

What’s a mission you don’t enjoy doing, but do anyways
For me it’s Pyramid Song. It was neat the first time, but all other times doing it after it drags. I always do it because I enjoy Judy and want to complete her quest (or complete my romance with her as female V), but damn doing the underwater section is just kinda…boring after the first time.
