Security footage.
So you convince him to leave the city but then get called by Padre that he flatlined himself. You go back into the appartment and see him dead, laying on the floor. He has a note but all the notes on him and his PC was just asking for more security or ordering a hit. No reason why to zero himself. Then you look across and see this screen, it's Martha in a body bag at the hospital. Choom did flatline himself for her. Sad.

Why does V not just flatline Dex after the heist?
Before i start, yes I understand its an essential story element im just curious as to why there no option to "fight back" or draw your own gun even if the outcome is inevitable.
The entire time leading up to the heist people drop V hints that Dex is sketchy, cleans house after jobs if something goes wrong, hell the guy seems sketchy the first time you meet him! In fact most of the fixers do!
I've played since release and I've always wondered why V isn't more on edge about meeting Dex after a botched heist and Arasaka on their ass.

I redid my endgame because of Viktor
Honestly, fuck Panam, fuck Judy, fuck River, fuck Kerry. I hate the cure ending and only replayed it solely and exclusively because of Viktor. Seeing him as a slave to the big corps messed me up so bad. The guy did everything he could to keep V alive, was there in every moment, always showed he cared, and I’m supposed to watch him be a slave? No way. I chose the Don’t Fear The Reaper ending just so my guy Viktor could be okay. My brother doesn’t deserve to go through that crap. He’s the most loyal one of all.
