Maybe I'm naive but I genuinely like the Peralez's. They're pretty honest and would 100% vote for him to be mayor.

I have never in my life played a role playing game where the players feel the need to argue over the correct role playing choice as much as this one.

I can't watch my brother play Cyberpunk
This is mostly a rant post, and I'm hoping a lot of you will understand my frustrations.
My dad got me into Cyberpunk a few years ago, and we both adore the game. My brother recently started a playthrough, and my dad and I have been helping him through it.
But for the life of me, I cannot sit and watch my brother play. He, perfectly on theme, plays the game like a gonk. When he does gigs, he doesn't care about why or how he has to do it, he just runs in and kills anyone he sees. During cut scenes, he looks at his phone. He skips and avoids nearly all dialogue.
He gives no fucks about the story or the characters. I try to tell him lore and story pieces, and he does not listen or care.
This game is not a mindless shooter. This game has a deep and rich story, with tons of characters and details, and love and care put into it. I heavily lean into the role play aspects of this game, and make an effort to read tons of shards, explore the world, actually live in the game.
It genuinely frustrates and hurts me to see people not appreciate this game. I know, people can play games however they want to, and the game doesn't require you to read into the story to finish it. You could play the whole game with a surface level understanding of the story and still have a good time. The combat is fun, expansive, and a big selling point for many people. If you wanna just kill people, fine.
But why would you? Why would you take an open world story game and treat it like a mindless shooter?
Okay, rant over.
EDIT: Many people have asked, so I will address it here: My brother is in his mid teens. I understand that many people would assume he's too young to understand and appreciate the story. However, as I've said in other comments, he does appreciate story in other games, even when he was younger than he is now.
Does he have to like the story in this game? No. But I know he has the capacity to.
I would also like to raise a question: If you believe someone is too young to understand/appreciate the story of Cyberpunk, would you want them playing it? I saw a post not too long ago of someone saying they let their child drive around in the game, and many advised them not to because of the sexual content in the ads around the game.
EDIT 2: Okay, since I never said it originally, and I don't expect people to hunt through the comments to find where I did say it:
The reason I watched my brother play this game is because HE asked me to. Normally, I don't watch him play games, because I don't care. But my brother asked me to because he wanted company, and I wanted to hang out with my brother, so I did.
The easy and obvious answer is to not watch him play, which is what I'm going to do. I never forced myself to watch him play just so I could complain. This was me venting about his play style, that's all.
