What's stopping humanity from destroying the rogue AIs beyond the black wall?

So, from my understanding, anything beyond the blackwall is eldritch levels of horror. AIs beyond our human comprehension that if released would cause a cataclysmic collapse of society.

They are held at bay by the blackwall which is an AI itself, the blackwall isn't keeping the other AIs in, it's keeping them out.

Humanity fears that the blackwall will one day fail or turn rogue itself, I think the question isn't even "if" but "when"

So we come back to my question, if they are all very aware of the danger those AIs represent, what's stopping them from destroying them?

And I'm not talking about going in like we do in the game to meet ALT, but to destroy the source they originate from.

If I understand this correctly, the new net is what's remaining of the old net, whatever is beyond the blackwall is much larger than what we have access to

But that also means that the old net was once...
Just the net.

So we should know where the servers are, where everything was emitting from, where everything is located since we once had access to it

I mean, the net isn't a second magical plane of existence existing on it's own. It needs a source to exist, a server, computer, whatever it might be

So what is stopping big corpos from raiding those places and blowing up everything?

They KNOW humanity will be fucked if they don't do anything so this should be priority number one

From what I've read the rogue AIs managed to escape on a much smaller scale in Hong Kong which completely destroyed it and it is now a dead city

Why is nothing being done about it?

Is the location of the servers unknown?
Are they guarded by terminator like machines controlled by the AIs?
Is it underground? Why not nuke the whole thing?

This stock market mod is hilarious.

I’m in the middle of a shootout with some random gangsters, my health is in the red, and I spot a random computer terminal. What do I do? Obviously dive behind cover and start day-trading while people are literally trying to kill me.
The best part is how the market reacts to your actions too. I’ll complete a mission that completely destroys a corpo’s reputation, then immediately hop on their stock page and watch it tank while I buy more shares. Killing police officers will result in the share price of $NCPD dropping.

I’m literally day-trading Militech while dodging Arasaka security. Bought 500 shares of Biotechnica right after flattering some gang member, sold my Zetatech holdings while a Maelstrom psycho is screaming about ripping my face off. The cognitive dissonance is beautiful.

The best part is how it makes perfect sense in-universe. Of course a edgerunner would be obsessed with making money literally every second. Of course you’d be checking stock prices while bleeding out. It’s Peak Night City energy.
