USA overtakes China, to become Germany's largest trading partner
It was inevitable. That those who share similar values and interests, should come together, to move away from those who have different values and interests.
According to Reuters: "The U.S. had already overtaken China in the first quarter, after 2023 was the eighth year in a row that China remained Germany's number one partner, by a few hundred millions."
Although Germany and China also have some things in common. They are both net exporters. Unfortunately in this case, politics trumps economics. The world is in a state of flux.
Germany's economy is the worst performing among the three. They need to keep an open mind. And be willing to do business with both China and USA.
Let us see if India and USA have similar values and interests, USA can also be a bigger trading partner to India, than China.

What if we tied CEO salaries to lowest paid employee?
Wages have fallen seriously behind inflation for a long time and now businesses are going to struggle making up the difference. I think the statistic is that CEOs used to make 50x the lowest paid employee, now that gap is 300x
Pretending it's NOT government overreach, what if CEOs/executives/board members couldn't make more than idk, 150x their lowest paid employee?
What are the downsides? I feel like it would lessen corporate greed and encourage/force taking care of your employees.
What am I not thinking of: discuss ⬇️
