America should spend taxdollars on Americans
Instead of throwing $2 trillion dollars away on soon to be obsolete manned fighter aircraft.

Give me one good reason why the President of the Longshoremen’s union SHOULDN’T have a mansion, a 76 foot yacht, AND a Bentley?
https://preview.redd.it/ky8xp6sjfqsd1.jpg?width=717&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=d5d4d9e8ed46ea229a1520a91c14a72d4e7901e3
Photo above – drone’s eye view of Daggett’s mansion, 5 car garage, and Bentley. Not shown . . . the 76 foot yacht he owns.
Harold Daggett. He has been president of the International Longshoremen's Association (ILA) for more than a decade. And before that spent 40 years in other union boss roles. The ILA union which recently turned down a 50% wage hike, and is demanding an end to any further dock automation. President Daggett has threatened that if the ILA doesn't get its demands, "this port will never open up again." See Newsweek link at bottom.
Not a very sympathetic character, is he? Surprisingly, the White House has his back. See Reuters link at bottom. The president (allegedly) used his personal “X” account to urge the shipping companies to agree to Daggett’s demands. Whoopee! It’s an election year . . .
But why would Biden even want to tweet support of a millionaire yacht owner who threatens to close America’s ports permanently? What’s the endgame here? At least he didn’t take Air Force one to join the ILA picket line, like he did with the autoworkers.
Anyway, Biden isn’t running for president. Candidate Kamala is. And Trump. I’d be interested in reading THEIR tweets about why a 50% wage hike for longshoremen isn’t enough, and why America should promise NEVER to automate container ship cargo handling again. It IS an election year . . .
In return, can we get Mr. Daggett to agree to replace his Bentley with something American made, like a Cadillac? That’s what the old-school union bosses probably would have driven.
I’m just sayin’ . . .
