What happened to jokes in the FPL community?
Genuine question mostly about how memes got banned on this sub, I remember genuinely laughing out loud at memes from this sub back a few seasons back.
I understand this is a place for stats and news for FPL but if I remember correctly, there used to be a designated day in mid week for people to post their FPL memes and jokes.
It was amazing, the creativity of this community is great and you still do get glimpses of the golden jokes like in the price change posts, in the comments.
You guys are hilarious, and you can see this by looking through the top posts of all time on this sub, a majority of the top posts are memes from 5 years ago. Which are still top posts now despite hundreds of thousands of people joining the sub since.
Many of you may have not been here for those days, I'd suggest you have a quick look through the top posts of all time in this sub and see how the community would react and engage in this content before it was banned.
I understand R/fplmeme is a community but this is a dead community created years after the mods stopped memes and has none of that true FPL community comedy to be found.
Why not trial something like meme Mondays just to see how this could reignite the community's funny side or if it's not too great we just scrap it after a while.
TLDR: why did we ban memes, give us one day a week to post them. You guys are comedy gold. (Go look at the top posts of all time on this sub)

Darwin v Solanke?

People with 2 Arsenal defenders who are looking to replace one to get a 2nd Arsenal mid, who are you choosing to replace them with?
I'm not sure how many are in the same boat or if this belongs in RMT, but I figured some might find this relatable.
With the upcoming double in 34, a lot of people are looking to get a 2nd Arsenal or Liverpool mid, but if you're like me, you already have triple of each team.
Do you guys have any suggestions for good replacements for, let's say, Saliba, if you had to choose one to replace?

Foden - Keep or sell?
He is in great form, but if you want Salah, he is the easiest one to go. City also has no double until gw37. Moreover, UCL road is a bit complicated for them. Madrid and probably Bayern or Arsenal in the semi.

Which Everton defender is the best option?
I know Everton aren't technically in the best form, but their defense hasn't been bad at all, and their fixtures aren't too bad either. They are also battling relegation, so they will be fighting tooth and nail in every game left.
Out of Mykolenko, Tarkowski, and Branthwaite, who would you guys say is the best option in terms of either goal threat or bonus points?

Is the time of Watkins-Solanke over?
Are you keeping them both in your WC teams?
Watkins has no doubles and has Liv, Man City and Arsenal to play.
Solanke has favorable upcoming fixtures in Everton, Palace, Luton and Man Utd and a double.
However, if you want Salah, Saka, Palmer, Son, Foden its likely one of the forwards will need to go, assuming no one is gong haaland-free, who are you keeping?
