Early Captain Shouts for GW34
Still few days to go before the deadline but I thought I'd start discussion early to hear some ideas.

So, Salah is the obvious choice on paper. But he sucks lately. He's not the same Salah from previous seasons. But he's FPL King for a reason, he jammed his way into scoresheet plenty of times. Doesn't help obviously that Darwin Nunez is so wasteful, it definitely hurts Salah's numbers...

Other obvious shout is Saka - I'm very 50/50 on it. I think he could be brilliant but at the same time he's not the same, that injury seems to be affecting him. He still plays well and is on pens, just not as explosive as few weeks ago.

And from doublers that's it as far as obvious choices go. There are punty options in Havertz/Odegaard, then more risky are Eze/Mateta and even more risky would be Cunha/Solanke/DCL. Personally I'm considering Eze, he surprised me in the last game and Palace have 2 decent fixtures. But then again, it's Palace, they're midtable team for a reason... Maybe Diogo Jota then?

Bukayo Saka hasn’t created or received a big chance from open play in his last 5 games - and only 1 in his last 7
Was just looking back at the expected stats for his recent matches - does this put anyone off getting Saka for the DGW or are you happy to bank on a penalty?
Other than creating 1 big chance against Newcastle 6 games ago, he’s had no other big chance involvement in a 7 game streak that included games against Burnley, Sheff Utd, Villa and Brighton.

FH34 teams megathread
5 days away from DGW34 and a lot of us already activated the free hit chip. I know there is still one fixture left but I guess most of us especially me are excited to finally use the free hit, even though the inevitable of getting less points than non free hit teams will happen.
This is in my opinion the best assets from each DGW teams:
Liverpool: Salah, Diaz, Darwin, VVD, Jota, TAA
Arsenal: Saka, Havertz, Gabriel, Odegaard, Saliba, White
Crystal Palace: Eze, Henderson, Olise, Mateta, Munoz, Mitchell
Everton: Pickford, Mykolenko, DCL
Bournemouth: Solanke, Senesi, Semenyo, Kluivert
Wolves: Ait Nouri, Cunha, Sarabia
Shefield United: Brereton Diaz, Mcburnie
Feels like a lot. What’s your FH34 draft looks like? Are you bringing all DGW players?

FPL Double Gameweek 34 – Free Hit & Dead End Special
Hey All,
I got sad about how awful it will be when City lift the title again (sorry City fans) so I decided to channel my thoughts into something more fun and accidentally wrote this free hit and dead end special.

TL;DR:
🔍 **Top Teams Doubling:**
* Crystal Palace has the easiest fixtures.
* Arsenal & Liverpool boast the strongest assets; consider tripling up on both.
🔎 **Team Breakdown:**
* **Crystal Palace:** Henderson, Munoz, Eze and Olisa are solid choices.
* **Arsenal:** Gabriel and Saliba are the best in defence; Saka remains excellent and Havertz is promising in midfield.
* **Sheffield United:** Avoid; limited fantasy options.
* **Liverpool:** Salah is a must; Diaz, Darwin, Robertson and Virgil are good picks.
* **Everton:** Pickford is decent; Mykolenko for defence. No attacking options.
* **Bournemouth:** Neto and Senesi are worth considering at the back. Solanke, of course, good in attack.
* **Wolves:** Sarabia and Cunha are standouts. Kilman and Ait-Nouri interesting at the back.

How many points are chips worth now?
This question calls for wild speculation so is more a product of boredom than call for useful analysis.
So far chips haven't paid out very well this season. Many of us TC Haaland for 8 points (or Solanke for the same). Similarly, FH29 did very little to boost anyone’s rank (feel free to gloat if you’ve managed get a good return so far).
What is everyone guess of how much there is to be gained for those who have kept a WC/FH or BB in hand? To me it feels like it all rests on the performance of teams like Manunited, Newcastle, Chelsea, Spurs and Brighton doing well, who WC35, BB37 players might jump on, and Arsenal/ Liverpool falling apart (not impossible).
Alternatively, anyone with a FH want to make a bold prediction of how many points they could gain on the field in 34 or 37?

What happened with Salah?
Since return from International break, he got 7,1,8,2 points respectively. 2G 0A from last 4 against easy fixtures. 1 of them was a penalty as well.
The important thing is he hasn't looked the same. When I watched him, I don't feel he is in a good form at all. Was it because of fasting? or something else?
Against Palace, he didn't do fasting anymore. He almost scored the goal from 3 yeards, but it was a great block from defender.
Liverpool fixtures will turn from gw35, I'm thinking to take him out after DGW. I am chasing ML leader by 25 points. He has him. So, probably need to differentiate to catch up this.

Pep when asked if Foden was supposed start before a late change: "No. He is perfectly fine. A lot of leaks, incorrect."
What could this mean for future City leaks? Since Pep is obviously aware of them, will he care enough to do anything about it in the future?
Considering City leaks are probably the most important for most of us, It would be interesting to see what happens if they stop or become slightly less reliable.
