I always trust dudes in bow ties. Once, this guy in a bow tie came up to me at the gun range in a Jacksonville bus station and said he'd give me $600 if I put these weird turtles in my duffle bag and brought them to Daytona Beach. So I hotwired a swamp boat to Daytona and the guy paid me the $600. My point is, you always trust dudes in bow ties.

In the last five gameweeks (since BBD has been back in the Sheffield United team), there are some interesting statistics to consider:
1. Sheffield United have scored eight (8) goals; more than Arsenal (7), Wolves (6) and Crystal Palace (5) (though granted Palace did play City and Liverpool in that time.)
2. In all games BBD has started he has a 42% goal involvement ratio (four goals and one assist out of 12 goals scored)
3. While Sheffield United's overall shots and shots in the box remain low, they have created just one less big chance than Arsenal (12 vs 11) and have had more shots on target (23) than Arsenal (22), Wolves (18) and Palace (17).
4. Most interestingly, Sheffield United rank first (yes FIRST) for shot accuracy over the last five gameweeks, and over the course of the season sit comfortably midtable (10th) in the same statistic. They also rank second (behind Chelsea) for goal conversion, converting roughly 18% of all shots taken.
5. Their opponents, Burnley and Manchester United sit 17th and 19th respectively for shots in the box conceded, 18th and 16th for shots on target conceded, and 16th and 17th for expected goals conceded over the course of the season. With both teams conceding the majority of the chances centrally, especially Manchester United. (as well as on their left hand side)
6. In the last five gameweeks BBD has the same number of big chances (3) as Eze, Gordon. (Though Gordon did play a game less and Eze had tough fixtures).
7. In this time he has a shot accuracy of 57% and a goal conversion of 29%, with two goals from seven shots.
8. In this time BBD has a nearly identical non-penalty expected goal number (1.80) as Eze and Havertz, while bettering the likes of Son, Saka, Foden and Gordon.

I know it's a very small sample size but what we are seeing from all this is that while BBD and Sheffield United generally lack the volume of chances they are making up for it by creating high quality chances for the likes of BBD, McBurnie and Hamer. When they get these chances they have been clinical (recently).
Man United and Burnley are going to give them chances to score and when they do, I back the Blades to punish them.

Should we be worried about a 3rd consecutive Foden benching in the league?
As per the title. Foden has just played 120 minutes against Real, and City play Chelsea in the FA cup in just a few days before their GW34 fixture midweek - and then GW35 against Forest just a few days after that.
Given that it seems highly unlikely that Foden (or many City players) is going to start all 3 of those games after playing the full Real game, how confident are we of him being rested against Chelsea?
If not, it seems almost certain he gets rotated for one of 34 or 35. With DGW options from Liverpool and Arsenal, is there a case to be made for using Foden as a makeweight?

Anyone else with only BB left considering a late change of plans? BB34 -> BB37
Anyone else without WC / FH considering abandoning the idea of BB this week and trying it in GW37?
I have a decent BB team now with only 6 non-DGW players (Areola, Garnach, Gusto, Palmer, Halaand, Foden) and 2FT. If everyone was fit and I was to BB this week, I'd be definitely keeping the last three and most likely going for -4 to get more DGW players...
But...
I also have Ait Nouri, Branthwaite, both yellow flagged. Then Haaland just got yellow flagged too, Foden might be rested, Saka looked a bit shit in CL...
At the same time with both Arsenal and City still in the title race and out of CL I'd think the three of them could potentially be in a better shape in GW37.
I'm thinking about abandoning the idea of BB this week and using my transfers to get ready for BB37, which should be more than doable with perhaps a single hit.
Anyone else considering the same? Am I missing any big downsides?
