Kudus or Bowen
Haven't had a chance to watch to much westham this year but their schedule is finally looking better. Was curious on people's thoughts on these 2?
They have a very similar XGI but Bowen is the only one with returns. They were basically the same player last year and Kudus has slightly more minutes.

Andreas Pereira appeal (vs ESR)
I looked up Sofascore's average position from the Fulham's first match. Pereira played significantly higher up than ESR on average. Pereira also on free kicks and corners as usual AND as a bonus on penalties first time in his Fulham journey. Also, Pereira is the trusted man in the team and he hasn't had too many injury issues recently
ESR is of course such a talent but not on set pieces hurts already a lot and of course new team, injuries and not playing so up than maybe we thought hurts too.
What's your opinion? Did you watch the game, how these two looked?
(This is just discussing options based on preseason and the one game. Plz don't comment something stupid about kneejerking. My knees are allright just want to gather information on the options.)

It's quite shocking how short sighted people are regarding FPL.
I've already started seeing things like "going haaland instead of salah was a mistake" or "eze and nkunku were obvious traps, saka is essential" etc.
I doubt any decision you made over the past 2 months was meant for JUST ONE gameweek. Can you all chill and follow your plans?

How did people's punts go GW 1 and how you feeling about them?
Talking about your differentials with lower ownership or players you just felt like you were taking more of a chance on.
Mine were Maatsen and Murphy. Who both got a point each lol. Maatsen worries me more tbh. I really thought he'd start, coming off a very good half season with Dortmund at such a big price tag. Annoying thing is I had 1 mil in the bank so I could have easily gone for a nailed on 6 mil player like Saliba. Was planning to bench him against Arsenal anyways and then after that he's got cracking fixtures.
Murphy was just very unlucky being the sacrificial lamb after Schar's stupid red. Still feeling good about him, had an excellent pre season. Don't think any other 5.5 mids have stood out yet, although obvs it's only very early doors.

Aina's ownership has almost tripled since the start of the game yet his price is -0.1 at £4.4m
I had Aina (and Sels) in my original team, as I thought Forest were a bit underrated and had great fixtures. 1.3% of managers did the same.
He went of with a niggle in GW 1 and no-one asked Nuno if he was ready for GW2 (despite being pictured in training all week), so he was yellow going into GW2. He scored 9 points that day, but because people were uneasy about his injury in the hours up to the game, he fell to £4.4m at 1% ownership the next morning.
Since then his ownership has been steadily rising to 3.2%. And according to FPLStatistics he's not even that close to go back to his original price.
I don't understand this system at all!

Is adding Mbeumo a kneejerk reaction?
Reasonably priced, plays close to 90 mins, on pens, and as per FPL set piece taker guide, with Toney not in the squad, he's on direct and indirect free kicks as well as corners. This screams incredible value to me and the team played well against CRY. Or is this kneejerking Thoughts?

A reminder to not give up after GW1
Before you kneejerk Salah or Mitoma in, remind yourself that a below average/average point tally in GW1 should not dismay you. If you picked a relatively good team and they didn’t deliver, relax. You have 37 more gameweeks to figure it out and beat your friends. So relax, exit the app, have a good sleep, and plan for the next few weeks and have hope.
Or maybe it’s time to take out Quansah.

Were we hoping and expecting too much from him? He is a clear minutes risk and hasn’t looked the best so far too. If he stays a minutes risks its very hard to justify him with better options around 6.5-7m
