New study reveals that playing Fantasy Football 'hurts your mental health' ... WHAT ELSE IS NEW?!?!
A new study has suggested playing too much Premier League Fantasy Football could destroy your mental health - and websites should now come with a warning about side effects.
The study, published in the journal Simulation and Gaming, involved 635 people from two popular leagues, almost all of whom were men and typically aged 34. One question asked whether their involvement caused arguments with their partners.
What do you think about this study, doesn't it just tell us something we already know? And a genuine question: should FPL come with a safety warning?

Any tips on how I can avoid the humiliation of a terrible start next season?
I went into last season confident I was getting top 10k. As so much hard work had gone into carefully crafting an elite team. I gorged myself on stats and listened to every FPL pod I could get my grubby hands on
I was convinced of my own genius, and was sending out unsolicited screenshots of my team all over twitter.
Fast forward 6 gws and I'm 4mil without a pot to piss in. I spent the rest of the season trying to catch up with varying results. Finishing 302k
Id love to start next season in a stronger position. Somewhere like top 500k by Christmas would be nice.
Any tips on some good strategies on how I can do that?
