Some assembly required the "Candace was accidently right" running gag was one giant prank

So a while back I made a post on this sub talking about how the giant twist at the series finale of the terrible Netflix sitcom Some Assembly Required being that >!The gang knew that Candace was trying to infiltrate the toy company from the beginning!< was ridiculous so I made a theory that at first only Jarvis knew then the others did as the show went on. This theory is another theory stemming from that one.

There was a running gag in the show where Candace would try screwing up the MCs in some sort of way but then it would magically work well for them. (For example: in one episode, she told Malcom that European girls love the smell of raw eggs and cobera to ruin his date but she ended up loving it). Now, this is where the theory comes in, Most of the time. We are not revealed if the plan worked until Candace is told. While this obviously was supposed to be used in a "Nice job fixing it Villian" kind of way, I think. Since they knew she was trying to trick them. Decided to say it really worked when it didn't as a kind of "nice try you Bch" kind of way. For example: in the aforementioned European girlfriend moment, Malcom could have hypothetically told his GF something like: there is this crazy woman trying to break us up so Here is my real gift but if you see her, tell her you loved the raw egg scent so she won't get the satisfaction of winning"

The main reason I believe this theory is plausible is because it's highly unlikely for every one of her bad ideas to actually be good. There has to be some strings being pulled

If Men in Black have a device that erases memories, why do they pull out guns first?

Watching Men in Black again, I couldn’t stop thinking: the neuralyzer is the ultimate “problem-solver.” Just zap, and no witnesses.
So why do they always start with bullets and lasers?
Either it only works on humans, or Hollywood thinks violence sells better than logic.
Plot hole, or just movie magic?

The First Sadie Sink Rumor Still Has Legs: Could Mayday Parker Be Marvel's Next Big Legacy Hero?

Back when casting news was only whispers, the earliest Sadie Sink rumor linked her to Mayday Parker, Peter Parker's daughter from the comics—a character many fans believe could be a legacy hero for the version played by Tobey Maguire. This theory has gained new life recently, especially since Tobey was spotted in London around the Spider-Man: Brand New Day shoot.
Why The Theory Still Works
First, the MCU's trend: Marvel has been actively introducing a new generation of legacy heroes, making the idea of a new hero taking up the mantle of Spider-Man a very real possibility.
Second, the multiverse timing: Though the movie is said to be a street-level story, the timing—right before Avengers: Doomsday—has some fans buzzing. This could be the perfect chance for a small multiverse element, like a universe-hopping Mayday Parker who lands in the MCU. This would keep the film grounded while still connecting to the larger Multiverse Saga.
Third, the hero's purpose: A popular theory is that Mayday isn't just Peter's daughter, but a hero sent from another universe—maybe even the one where Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man is from—to protect her from a major threat. It would explain her appearance and give her a strong purpose from the very beginning.
Finally, the physical resemblance: Beyond her acting skills, many fans believe Sadie Sink shares a physical resemblance that makes her a perfect fit as an on-screen daughter for Tobey Maguire's Peter Parker. They often point to her red hair, reminiscent of Mary Jane, and her blue eyes, which look just like Tobey's.
With all that in mind, it's easy to see why the Mayday theory still hangs on. If Marvel did introduce Mayday in Brand New Day, how would you picture her debut and connection to Peter? Anyone else still has a feeling this could actually happen?

Jack Jack is Gamma Jack

Last week I was showing my little cousins The Incredibles. I watched it with them while I was cleaning around the house. But something never got off my mind after that. (I hadn’t seen Incredibles since 2018) But something I couldn’t get off my mind since was what if Gamma Jack and Jack is the same person. My theory is that Jack Jack has got older and always hears stories from his parents and other older Super’s about the peak of Super’s being around. Now either in the future Super’s are rarer, could be going extinct or the government can crack down on crime better than superhero’s now. So there is no reason for Superheroes to be around, I think Jack Jack someway somehow goes back in time during the late 1940s early 1950s. He then has his time to shine, while being a superhero his personality changes that’s why in some old tapes and personality records he’s a bit off or rude. No one is there to humble him, his outcome is still the same. Killed by the Omnidroid.

First time watching the Sopranos finale — did anyone notice the 3 onion rings?

I just finished The Sopranos for the first time and something in the Holsten’s scene jumped out at me. Right before the cut to black, Tony, Carmela, and AJ each take an onion ring — and they don’t just nibble, they each eat one whole.

That’s exactly 3 onion rings eaten, and then everything goes dark.

It got me thinking:
• Last Supper parallel: the scene has that “Last Supper” vibe people talk about. If that’s intentional, the onion rings could be like a secular communion.
• Rings as bells: onion rings could also be read like “rings of a bell.” In old traditions, church bells tolled 3 times for death. Three rings, then silence/blackness, feels deliberate.
• Holy Trinity / cycles: 3 ties to the Trinity, and the ring shape suggests eternity or closure.

Do you think Chase meant this as foreshadowing Tony’s death, or am I overthinking a plate of diner food? Has anyone else noticed how specific the “3 onion rings, then blackout” moment feels?

Chainsaw Man Chainsaw Devil is so feared because of Ash Williams

My crackpot theory is that, A. Ash Williams exists or existed in the csm universe as a devil hunter, and B. since devils in the csm universe are powered by fear, Ash hunting devils and shit with his chainsaw arm probably put the fear of god into the demons themselves and they grew to fear chainsaws giving Pochita a crazy buff. Ash does die a few times so maybe they thought he was gone and some of the fear went away, and that resulted in Pochita having to run away and getting found by Denji.

Obviously zero proof but I just thought it would be cool/funny since fujimoto really likes the Evil Dead franchise

Alien Earth: There is actually a whole civilization of T. Ocellus out there

After the latest episode, I was immediately intrigued by the wording when Boy Kavalier said that knowledge of pi is a hallmark of all advanced civilizations. Why those specific word? Why not just intelligent or sapient species? It could be just Kavalier being cavalier with definitions OR it could be the writers’ hint at something greater. Even if we assume that T. Ocellus learned to understand human symbols and numbers just from being on the Maginot for multiple decades or from Schmuel’s brain, at the end of the day it would still have needed to know the concepts of higher mathematics to even understand Kavalier’s question. And there is no way it could have acquired that context by being just a clever little loner that has been puppeteering dumb animals for most of its life. It must have come from a whole society that had developed those concepts.

So I think it is far more likely that T. Ocellus is actually a species that specifically evolved to parasitize other intelligent species and live out their own culture and civilization vicariously through their hosts.

There is some precedent for this in horror scifi. The Shadow out of Time is a classic H. P. Lovecraft story that centers on the Great Race of Yith. The Yithians are an interdimensional alien race that came to Earth millions of years ago and to avoid the extinction of their culture, they have been parasitically transferring their minds into the bodies of lesser species throughout the eons.

An even better comparison would be the Kaldanes, from Edgar Rice Burroughs’ Chessmen of Mars. The Kaldanes are an intelligent species that consists of only a head with some spider legs, but to get around and interact with the other Martian races they have selectively bred a species of local gopher-like alien into headless, humanoid bodies, to which they connect their nervous system to walk around in.

I think it is very likely that something like this is probably the actual modus operandi of the T. Ocellus species and that they normally inhabit some unseen creature that is not only intelligent but also humanoid. The first body the eye canonically takes over in the show is Schmuel’s and it had seemingly no problem operating him, able to immediately attack the xenomorph. Compare that with the cat or sheep, in which it seems to be more uncomfortable. Notice also that the first thing it does when taking over the sheep is trying to stand upright and use its arms, before giving up and going on all fours. It naturally seems to prefer humanoid hosts.

What the original host species could have been, I don’t know. Engineers? Arcturians? Predators? Just something new we haven’t seen before?

Also an interesting question to speculate on is if T. Ocellus are openly symbiotic with a designated host species (like the Kaldanes) and only become parasitic on other creatures in dire circumstances OR if they are an invasive species that gradually and secretly infiltrates other civilizations to perpetuate themselves. Like the aliens in Invasion of the Body Snatchers.

Given the franchise, I think it’s the latter, which could make T. Ocellus potentially more dangerous than the xenomorphs. Because it could take over Earth without anyone noticing.

The Lightborne Loop

A cinematic Thesis on K‑PAX, Nonlinear Consciousness, and the Geometry of Healing

By Bobby-Lee Phelps
September 2025

Abstract

This thesis presents a comprehensive metaphysical, psychological, and symbolic analysis of the 2001 film K-PAX, directed by Iain Softley and starring Kevin Spacey and Jeff Bridges. Framed through the lens of nonlinear time perception, alien consciousness, relational healing, and symbolic tasking, this study introduces the Lightborne Loop Doctrine—a framework that interprets the film as a temporally sealed soul-rescue mission executed by a non-linear entity named Prot. The mission is not to heal Robert Porter, but to deliver him to safety, and to awaken Dr. Powell to his own healing potential.

This thesis examines themes of infinite time loops, circular versus linear time, the alien observer as soul catalyst, the geometry of mirrored healing tasks, and the role of trauma as a multidimensional bridge. The film becomes a parable for recursive healing and spiritual transference—one that teaches us healing is often initiated by what we perceive to be distraction.

I. Introduction

The film K-PAX is typically classified as a science fiction drama, exploring themes of mental illness, extraterrestrial life, and healing. However, beneath its genre trappings lies a concealed metaphysical framework: one that uses non-linear time, alien consciousness, and emotional recursion to facilitate a soul-saving mission within a closed temporal loop.

This thesis proposes that Prot is not simply a delusional human or a visitor from another planet, but a lightborne traveler who exists outside of human linearity. He responds to a psychic distress signal emanating from a traumatic death event—Robert Porter’s suicide—and uses a human healer, Dr. Powell, as a causal anchor to close the loop and facilitate recovery. The structure of this loop resembles a laser experiment within a mirrored chamber, where precise alignment of timing and intention is necessary for the light (mission) to reach its destination.

II. The Lightborne Loop Doctrine

At the core of this thesis is the theory that K-PAX is a time-closed causal loop in which Prot responds to a moment of trauma (Robert Porter’s suicide) only after being instructed to intervene by Dr. Powell—five years later. Time is not linear for Prot; it is spherical or infinite (π-shaped). Prot enters Robert at the moment of death, lives within him for five years, and delivers him to Dr. Powell, who then unknowingly commands the rescue via hypnosis. This closes the loop.

The entire film occurs within this “bubble”—a symbolic structure resembling a laser experiment where the beam (the mission) must bounce precisely off every mirrored moment (dialogue, reflection, emotion) to reach its destination. If any angle is off, the beam fails. Thus, the events, timing, and even emotional developments are non-negotiable elements of the soul rescue geometry.

III. Prot’s Nature: Alien Consciousness and the Trauma Bridge

Prot is not merely an alien; he is a consciousness waveform capable of entering trauma-fractured human vessels. Trauma creates a breach in linear time and egoic structure—allowing entities like Prot to enter without resistance. Robert Porter was not chosen at random; his trauma made him malleable.

Prot is changed by his time within Robert. His species is described as unbonded, detached, emotionless. Yet, Prot exhibits humor, compassion, longing. His five years on Earth expose him to love and pain, transforming him from a traveler into a hybrid being. He leaves Robert altered—but he leaves Prot altered, too.

IV. Dr. Powell is the Patient

While Robert Porter appears to be the patient, the true healing arc belongs to Dr. Powell. Initially clinical, detached, and emotionally avoidant, Powell approaches Prot as a puzzle. Through a carefully orchestrated sequence of “healing tasks”—disproving Prot, discovering Prot, saving Prot—Powell is forced to confront his own suppressed grief and failures.

In the end, Powell is emotionally transformed. He

The Dead Girls Theory

Since the 15th anniversary of Mlp:FIM is coming up,I decided to bring up a fan theory from many years ago.
(Btw this is from the text not my words)
I read this news story a few years ago. It was about 6 girls who all went to the same school, and died on the same day, November 7th, 2004. A friend of mine from N.C. sent me the article from a small local newspaper. I forgot about it until I was watching a few episodes of My Little Pony and realized the main characters are surprisingly similar to the girls who died. I decided to look for that article again. The paper had either gotten shut down or I had misremembered the name, so I tried tracking down my old World of Warcraft buddy and asked him for the article. Turned out he happened to have the file saved to his computer, and I was right! There’s a definite connection here!

The first girl, named Samantha Gales, was obviously the inspiration for Fluttershy. A shy, introverted girl, what her classmates didn’t know was that she was constantly abused at home by her mother and stepfather. Her mother conceived her at age 15, and she blamed poor Samantha for ruining her life. This made Samantha self-conscious. When her stepfather moved in, this made the neglect worsen. Her stepfather never liked having to take care of Samantha when her mother was away, so he would lock her in the basement and leave her, sometimes for a whole day. Her mother tolerated this, and, as she grew, would hit Samantha for talking out of turn. When her half-sister was born, the abuse became considerably worse. She would be starved, forced to sleep outside, and sometimes outright beaten. Because she dressed in shabby clothes and had low self-esteem, she was often picked on by other kids at school. Her only friends were animals she would rescue, which her family would make her get rid of. She committed suicide by overdosing on valium.

The second, named Janice Walters, was always one of the popular girls. She was rich, smart, beautiful, and seemed to live the charmed life. However, her parents argued constantly and were really only together for appearances. She was held up to a high standard, which made her a perfectionist. She wanted to be a designer and live in Paris, but her parents wanted her to remain in Carolina and marry a proper man, one of good breeding and high income. For the most part, her parents ignored her. Her parents’ only concern was appearing rich and of high social standing, but in reality, her mother married her father because of money, and since he had accumulated so much debt, they had been losing money, fast. This is what got her interested in fashion initially, since she started making her own fashionable clothes to maintain the appearance of wealth. She died in a car crash, when her mother and father got into another argument over money while he was driving. Her neck was snapped on impact and she died instantly. She was clearly the inspiration for Rarity.

Then there was Alexandra Matthews. Alex was a competitive girl. She always sought to be the best at the best, especially at sports, track in particular. Her father always wanted a boy, and since her mother was declared incapable of having another child, he decided to raise her as if she was his son. In the end though, she loved her mother and father, and was more than happy to play sports with her father. She excelled at them, even. This made her popular, and by the time she was in high school, was being sought out by athletic scouts from Colleges all over the country. This made her try even harder. She had always wanted to compete in the Olympics. However, when she was 15, her mother, who had been told she could never have another child, had a son. After that, her parents didn’t pay very much attention to her, which made her more determined to succeed. She ended up pushing herself so hard at track, she neglected her friends, her grades, and even her personal health. At one point, she became so desperate, she started taking steroids. What her and her family didn’t know was that she had a minor heart

In the thing 1982 Everyone Was Assimilated From the Start

Everyone Was Assimilated From the Start

The Thing isn’t about survival against an alien parasite, but instead about the parasite itself trying to decide what to do?

when the dog first entered the camp, it made contact with every member of the crew and assimilated them right away
the entire movie becomes a psychological chess match between the Thing and itself. Each “character” isn’t fighting for human survival, but instead competing for control, influence, and the best strategy to secure its long-term survival. The paranoia, mistrust, and fear aren’t just human emotions—they’re the Thing’s internal conflict externalized, as it tries to reconcile what form it should take and how it should proceed.

This reframes the story from a survival horror into something even more unsettling: we aren’t watching humans resist assimilation—we’re watching an alien organism at war with its own fractured identity, testing scenarios through the crew it has perfectly copied.

familiar? I chose to focus specifically on the reboot for two reasons

Firstly; Freddy Krueger is played by Jackie Earle Haley, aka George in Shutter Island. Again, I'm not familiar with the character except for a couple lines of dialogue and some pictures, but I think they are different metaphysical forms of the same person.

Secondly; it shares the release year with Inception, Shutter Island and Curse of the Lake Monster. The tale of Elm Street is also implicitly tied to Friday the 13th, no less thanks to the Freddy vs Jason crossover.

Side note, as water does, the significance of fire stands out too. Teddys house burning *hallucination?, possible asylum burning, and Mr Krueger sure is familiar with the flame.

Springwood is a biological term for the first-formed, softer, lighter-colored, more porous wood. It forms the first part of a trees annual growth ring. It's large, thin-walled cells allow for rapid water transport making it less dense than later forming wood. I'll explain why this is relevant, and what else I'd shortly.

Exhibit D
Seasons

Why Scooby Doo? I noticed all 3 films shared the release year, and each could be assigned a different season. So I looked for any other film released in the last season that could be relevant. With 'Lake' in the title it was easy pickings. And what better way to keep with the horror theme than the Scooby gang.

Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco? Thanks to the simple, brief, spacing of this name you don't need an anagram filter.

Scoob Bone Camp, or Scoob Bone Map C. Whatever, I think this theory has enough gel to not rely on semantics. At this point, they're just easter eggs. "and I would've got away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling anagrams!"

Shutter Island; Feb 19 - Winter

ANoES; April 30 - Spring

Inception; July 16 - Summer

CotLM; October 16 - Autumn/Fall

Exhibit E
Totems

Cobbs totem; arguably not, whatever. It plays a huge part in the story. One noteable thing is how it continues to spin fairly easily, and particularly longer than it seems it should. I think this is less to do with the uncertainty of dreams/reality but its material. It's already an abstract shape, would it be irrational to assume it has a light weight, low density foundation? I think Cobb's totem is made from springwood.

Ocarina; Yup! This word has made its way back into the theory. An ocarina is a musical instrument - a vessel flute. Remind you of anything? Somewhere along the way (however the mechanics operate), the ocarina became or represents the hockey mask. This is Jason's totem.

Quentin's necklace; Bro thinks he's on the team lol. This guy is not in my theory but for all-inclusions sake, the third totem.

Teddys totem; I honestly gave up with this movie, as I've already spoiled too much for myself and I still want to watch it someday. I read he had a toy gun and some matches? Forgive me 'cause the effort stops here.

But finally folks, buckle your seatbelts! The Mystery Machine is headed for limbo...

THE TOTEM OF ALL TOTEMS; Boom! You looking for this?

If you read all that, thank you! Until next time

My theory on Celeste and D4vd

First of all I'd like to send my condolences to her family and her friends. Her death was very sad and brutal. She was just a 14 year old with a bright future, but sadly her life was cut short. RIP Celeste Rivas🕊️
So, Celeste Rivas was a minor who became involved with d4vd, an older, famous singer.
I believe she knew what they had was legally wrong, she loved him and had normalized his predatory behavior due to his obsessive attention over time.
She wasn’t naive about the law, she knew it, but her emotional attachment complicated her response.

I believe they'd have arguments.
In theory, their interactions could involve highly charged arguments. When one party became upset and the other might call them out sharply, e.g., labeling them for their inappropriate behavior, while simultaneously referencing the illegality of the situation as a way to manage the other’s emotions.
I think that bothered d4vd and he ended up killing her to silence her. I think yall know he allegedly paid her friends to keep quiet about their "relationship"

Cinderella - 1950s There is a reason Cinderella looks familiar to the evil stepmother when she sees her at the ball.

And it's not that she looks like Cinderella- she does of course. But The actual memory/familiarity is stemming from the stepmother thinking she looks like Cinderella's late mother.

If she thought she looked simply like Cinderella, she would have said as much. But instead Lady Tremaine simply says that she looks familiar.

In this theory- Lady Tremaine met Cinderella's father before her mother passed away. She was envious of course, and it's also why he remarried so soon afterwards. Not due to a lack of love, but a woman he knew, who was able to put on a gracious facade, and would provide a maternal figure for his own daughter.

Not realizing Tremaine had been aiming for this spot all along.

Hence why Cinderella at the ball gives her pause. She looks so similar to her late mother. She's essentially seeing a ghost, as she knows Cinderella has no way of acquiring such hip-to-trends in the noblilities finery.

Ghost busters 2 /Prophecy

Okay, hear me out: Ghostbusters II is basically an allegory for social media. • The river of pink slime? That’s our feeds. It feeds on anger, hate, and negativity—and the more we pour into it, the stronger it gets. • New Yorkers turning hostile? That’s society tearing itself apart in the comments section. • The Statue of Liberty scene? Our desperate attempt to fight back with positivity—cat videos, wholesome memes, #BeKind campaigns. It works temporarily, but the slime never really goes away. • Vigo the Carpathian? He’s Zuckerberg with better hair. Vigo used slime to control minds, Zuckerberg used the “like” button. Both thrive on human misery.

So yeah, Ghostbusters II accidentally predicted the internet age.

The real question: who’s the bigger villain—Vigo, or Zuck?

Tangled - Mother Gothel was a vampire hunter

Mother Gothel was a vampire hunter. "What's your terrible evidence?" you may be asking.

Rapunzel fears fangs, not men: Supposedly Rapunzel, having grown up in the tower, had never met a man before. But she wasn't afraid of Flynn because he was a man. She was distrusting, yes, but she was warned of men with pointy teeth. Fangs are the first thing she looks for in Flynn. Mother Gothel warned Rapunzel for years about monsters in the dark and people with fangs. When Rapunzel sees Flynn doesn't have fangs, she is less afraid of him. The tavern full of thugs? She freaks out when she sees the one with pointy teeth but then confidently holds her own against all of them when she realizes they're just normal men, not vampires.

Gothel's weapon of choice: Mother Gothel uses a stiletto knife, which is simply a fancy stake. She sleeps with it next to her bed.

Gothel is a master tracker/hunter: she was able to track down Rapunzel and Flynn even after a massive flood washed away any tracks or clues that would have been apparent only to the most skilled trackers.

Gothel's time away from home: you may think Mother Gothel just wants to be young. But if that were the case, why does she leave Rapunzel for such long stints? Mother Gothel ages when she doesn't top up on Rapunzel glimmer, but it's not instantaneous. It takes a few days for it to become noticeable. As shown in the movie, she regularly leaves Rapunzel alone for several days because she excursions out on various vampire hunts.

Gothel's need to live long and need for healing: Two aspects of why Mother Gothel needs Rapunzel. 1) She needs to live long since her prey lives long and she has to maintain her good looks as a lure for vampires that want to drink from a young maiden's pale, supple neck as vampires are known to do. 2) She needs Rapunzel's healing powers to recover from her battles with the undead.

The lanterns keep bats away from the kingdom: as shown throughout the movie, this is their real purpose and is self explanatory.

Rapunzel's under-appreciated power: You may think the big thing about Rapunzel's hair is its healing abilities. But in a world of vampires, the ability to make sunlight on command is invaluable.

Cecilia by Simon and Garfunkel Dark Theory

If you haven’t heard this song, go and listen to it and thoroughly listen to the lyrics and the mood of the song before reading the next paragraph.

In the first verses of the song, the narrator sings, “Cecilia. You’re breaking my heart. You’re shaking my confidence daily.” Makes me think that the narrator and Cecilia are in some sort of relationship and that they are arguing and possibly that Cecilia is questioning the narrator’s “manhood”. Around the middle verses, the narrator sings, “Making love with in the afternoon, with Cecilia up in my bedroom.” Then, “I got up to wash my face, when I go back to bed, someone’s taken my place.” So this whole time Cecilia and the narrator were arguing and Cecilia was possibly questioning his “manhood” or whatever, she was having an affair with another man. And then a musical session in the song happens and in this musical session, a fight between the two men happen which would result in the narrator unaliving the other man. Then at the end, the narrator goes crazy and sings, “Jubilations, she loves me again, I fall on the floor and im laughing.” Meaning that the other man is probably no longer with us.

Tell me what you think.

reconnects with his wife and son, and becomes capable of receiving the real mission: to care for Robert Porter. The final mirror is complete when Prot tells him, “Now that you’ve found Robert Porter… take care of him.”

Powell is not the observer—he is the one who was always meant to remember. He just had to be tricked into seeing his own reflection.

V. The Geometry of Healing: Mirror-Task Doctrine

Prot facilitates healing not through direct intervention, but through relational tasking. Each patient in the hospital is given a small, purpose-aligned assignment to activate latent healing. Powell, too, is given tasks—each escalating in emotional intensity. The final task breaks his ego and forces self-confrontation.

This model suggests that healing occurs not through introspection alone, but through relational interaction, recursive empathy, and soul-assigned tasks that reflect our own wounds back to us in disguised form. Prot uses Powell’s obsession with rationality to trick him into becoming emotionally whole.

The stages:
1. Disproving Prot — Breaks Powell’s logic
2. Discovering Prot — Engages Powell’s heart
3. Saving Prot — Shatters Powell’s ego
4. Finding Robert — Heals Powell’s soul

Each task was a mirror. The final reflection is self.

VI. Temporal Mechanics and Symbolic Anchors

The film introduces a number of symbolic anchors to represent its nonlinear causality. The mirror scene—where Powell and Prot’s reflections briefly merge—is the first visual confirmation of their entangled loop. The countdown to July 27th acts as a time pressure catalyst. The Grand Central mugging scene is engineered as a perfect entry-point into the psychiatric system.

Name symbolism further supports the loop: Prot, Powell, and Porter—all beginning with the letter P—form a trinity. The π (pi) symbol—referencing the infinite, irrational, never-repeating number used to calculate circles—is embedded in the story structure. This suggests that the film is not a linear narrative, but a self-contained emotional equation written in symbols, reflections, and causality.

Powell’s instruction to Prot to “save him” (during hypnosis) is the central node in this loop, where infinite time perception and linear experience converge. This is the crosspoint of mind (Powell), body (Porter), and spirit (Prot).

VII. Conclusion: The Purpose of the Loop

The mission was not to heal Robert Porter. It was to deliver him safely to a man capable of carrying out that healing over time. Prot came not to solve trauma—but to prepare the healer, awaken the mirror, and withdraw.

K-PAX is a spiritual rescue map hidden in a science fiction skin. It teaches that the soul can be saved across time, that healing is recursive, and that sometimes, we are tricked into saving ourselves by caring for another.

The Lightborne Loop Doctrine proposes that love can move backward through time, if the geometry of the mirror is perfect, and the beam of intent is true.

Doom 3 is not mainline Canon but is instead an alternate continuity where the events of Doom 64 never happened

Here's my proof: if you examine the plot of Doom 64, you will find that the mother of all demons was able to resurrect the entire horde due to the sheer amount of radioactive waste in the Union aerospace corporation bases. If you go through Doom 1, you will see radioactive sludge everywhere. These facilities had to be abandoned allowing the MOAD to resurrect The horde unopposed. In Doom 3, this has yet to take place because the Marine is not the Slayer, he is just a regular Marine on duty that just so happens to get caught up in Hell's invasion what happens due to the meddling of one Malcolm betruger. Now none of this is referenced in the mainline titles, not even the existence of the soul cube of which by mention alone should disqualify Doom 3 from being a main line entry considering the soul cube is of alien origin and is never explained. Had they explained it then maybe it would get a mention in later games but as far as we know, it's one big question mark. There's also the little nagging issue that due to the abandoned facilities not existing in Doom 3, and the shift from argent energy to teleportation and weapons research, it is all but impossible for the events of Doom 64 to have happened.

In order for the events of Doom 64 to have happened, the UAC facilities would have had to have been abandoned sometime prior to the opening of Doom 3, allowing for the forces of hell to take over again. Obviously this is not the case considering that the UAC is still functioning in the year the game takes place. There's also the fact that the the events of Doom 1 never took place or at the very least weren't mentioned. Even if Malcolm betruger had set everything up perfectly, there still wouldn't have been enough demons to force the events of Doom 64 to happen. The timeline between the Marine destroying the portal and the events of the Lost mission, where another portal is destroyed pretty much put the clamp on that idea.

So now that we've established the fact that Doom 64 is impossible in the timeline of Doom 3, what are the evidence do I have?

Doom 1 states that Doom guy punched out his Superior officer for ordering him to fire on civilians. In Doom 3 this doesn't happen because the order isn't given and thus the Marine has no reason to do it. This means that he is present for The invasion.

Really that's all the evidence I have. As far as I know, just the fact that Doom 64 realistically can't happen during the events of Doom 3, pretty much ensures that Doom 3 is a side story or an alternate continuity.

There's also resurrection of evil but that's another can of worms entirely that I don't want to go through. For one it's not the same Marine.

condition that the steroids worsened. Since she was pushing herself so hard physically as well, she ended up collapsing during a match due to a heart complication. She died in the hospital, a few days later. In the show, Rainbow Dash seems the most similar.

The girl most similar to Applejack, Jamie Sanders, was a farm girl, just like the character based off of her. What the show didn’t include was that her farm was run down, and her family always struggling with money. She often times worked odd jobs under the table to try and help to support her family. She had many brothers and sisters, and she was the second, which meant it was up to her and her brother to take care of the “youngins”. This meant she didn’t have enough time to hang out with friends or take any extracurricular activities, or even do her homework on most nights. She had an aunt, whom her family from Manhattan was based off, who kept offering to send money to support her mother and father, but they were proud and always refused. That is until her father died from a heart attack in 1984. Her mother followed shortly after, having killed herself when she couldn’t handle the pressure of taking care of all the children. They were taken in by their then senile grandma, who was incapable of truly taking care of them. Jamie herself often times helped out with other family’s yard work to keep her family afloat. She died when a tree fell on her as she was cutting it down.

Pinkie Pie’s inspiration probably has the saddest story. Katherine Jackson was a foster child and moved from home to home. Her birth father killed her mother and himself in a fit of rage when she was 5, and she could never quite settle into a good home. Some of the foster families who would take her in were merely interested in the financial support adopting a child would bring, and would refuse to feed or clothe her. Even when she was in a nice home with a good family, the old memories still haunted her, breaking her fragile sanity into a million pieces. She would have nightmares of her mother’s screaming and bleeding and her father screaming for her, claiming to be after her next. By the time she was in high school, she completely snapped. She started to hallucinate and act out in class. Many of the other kids and even teachers assumed she was merely hyperactive and was trying to be funny. She would often times paint, draw, and write about fantastical things, and dressed in over the top clothing. All the while her condition was getting worse and worse, the voices and images becoming more realistic and more demanding. She died when she jumped off a building, one of the voices having told her she could fly. What makes that last fact even more chilling is that Lauren originally designed Pinkie Pie to be a pegasus, as seen in her early development sketches.

The last, Twilight Sparkle’s inspiration, was an A student by the name of Cynthia Little. She was held up to a high standard from a young age. Her older brother was always getting awards for academic and athletic achievement, and she was held up to the same high standard. She ended up neglecting other facets of her life in order to make sure she got the best grades. For a while, this worked. Her parents were proud of her accomplishments and bragged to their friends about having not just one genius child, but two. That is until a local private academy for the gifted started to become interested in her, among several other advanced students. She knew that this would be the best opportunity she could have to prove herself as the perfect child. But the pressure was high. She knew that there were limited spots for new students, and she knew that there would be a test and an essay required to get in. So she became a little desperate. She studied to the point where she would hardly eat, and never sleep. As the test closed in, she panicked, and she opted to purchase an essay to copy, and during the test resorted to cheating. When she was caught, her parents were horrified. She sank into a deep depression, and eventually hung herself to save herself

Time loop theories that actually make sense?

Basically every time loop theory just point to a film where the ending mirrors the beginning in some way, (Attack on Titan, An Inspector Calls, Silent Hill 2), and go "Hey, wouldn't it be cool if this was actually the start? But I can't really see any that make sense, (ie, they explain certain characters actions or motivations, make the media more interesting), outside of ones that are very clearly intended. So do you guys know of any that actually work?

Inception Cobb is Jason Voorhees

Look, let me preface this by saying that I tried to post this theory earlier, after spending 4 hours on it and then Reddit immediately removed it 😩 I had paragraphs and paragraphs and links and formatting and the works that I can't get back. I still want to get this theory out there but I'm going to carelessly speed through it so forgive the half a$$edry.

WARNING! SPOILERS FOR SHUTTER ISLAND
There will be other films referenced but not anything spoiler worthy.

Main theory; Cobb from Inception/Teddy from Shutter Island/Jason from Friday the 13th are the same character in different metaphysical forms.

I'll preface again by saying, most of my 'findings' and connective material come from simple google search ai overviews (if verification was needed, I did a little more digging), the primary source being wikipedia. I also absolutely have to say, I HAVEN'T SEEN SHUTTER ISLAND, and it's been years since I've watched the other films I will reference. I have grouped relevant images into 4 folders (25 pictures total), and will provide google drive links where necessary or appropriate. If you've made it this far and can be bothered to continue, thank you and here we go!

Exhibit A
The Bodies of Water

Camp Crystal Lake; a fictional setting of the FT13 series, filmed on a real camp in New Jersey, Camp No-Be-Bo-Sco (I'll come back to this in a second). It is the home of Jason, many of his murders and where he drowned as a child. Basically his origin point - both times, it's the most significant location to his story.

Lake Placid; another horror lake, which I won't even get into that movie, only what pertains to this theory. The most prominent one, in the Adirondack mountains, New York, hosted the 1980 Winter Olympics (FT13 release year), and shares the name with its village. Another lake that shares its name?

Lake Erie; the fictional lake in Scooby Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster (2010), in the fictional town of Erie Point. I'll explain why this film is relevant later.

Side note, like I said haven't seen Shutter Island, but through only little research I can see the significance of water and/or being under it. As with each of the characters in these 3 stories.

For the life of me I can't remember why I decided to focus on this specific point, but I ran it through an anagram filter and got these words

Peddocks Island;

placid soddens - with a leftover K.

Adirondack;

android - with a leftover K, C and A, or;

ocarina - with a leftover K, and two D's.

Say what you will about leftover letters, doubles cancelling each other or whatever but I've chosen that either way, what remains is CA.

Exhibit B
Locations and names

One of the most recurring location names between the films (one I've yet mentioned) is the name/word 'Spring'. In the filming locations for

Inception; Spring Street, California. S Spring Street, California. There is even a Falls 'Lake' Backlot, California.

Shutter Island; So Spring Street, Los Angeles, CA. Presumably the same location as Inception, despite the majority being filmed in Boston.

Cobb's home was also filmed within a building in Los Angeles. I note this to highlight the significance of a 'home' in each characters story, each characters 'home' being near a body of water (as far as I know? If I'm wrong that's my bad).

Exhibit C
A Nightmare on Elm Street

Set in the fictional town of Springwood, a group of teenagers is stalked and murdered in their dreams. Hmmm, sound

A character reveal in Kpop Demon Hunters 2

My fan theory is that Jinu is Rumi's dad. Here is my evidence:

1. Jinu is a demon
2. Jenu is 400 years old
3. Rumi is half demon and 23 years old
4. This is the country that gave us Old Boy
