Blade
My head cannon is the true reason why Blade is a Daywalker has absolutely nothing to do with him being a Damphyr. I think Blade is also aware of the truth. I believe that he convinces his enemies that his blood is the key to making them capable of daywalking as a distraction from the truth. I think Blade knows that if the truth were known it would be an instant game over for human kind.

The Batman (2022) is a metaphor about the then unreleased Coppola's Megalopolis
Bruce Wayne represents Coppola himself - a visionary figure haunted by the weight of his past successes. Just as Bruce grapples with his family’s legacy and Gotham’s corruption, Coppola has to contend with the monumental shadow of The Godfather and Apocalypse Now while navigating the challenges of creating Megalopolis. Gotham City, in this metaphor, stands for Hollywood (a dark, decaying system ruled by entrenched powers that resist bold, transformative ideas). Much like Gotham’s corrupt elite, Hollywood often prioritizes safe, commercial projects over ambitious auteur-driven films. This creates the perfect stage for Coppola’s struggle to bring his grand vision to life. The Riddler symbolizes modern cinema trends: chaotic, overly focused on puzzles and commentary, yet ultimately destructive to the foundations of storytelling that Coppola champions. Just as the Riddler disrupts Gotham to expose corruption, these trends disrupt traditional filmmaking, clashing with the kind of grand, classical vision Coppola envisions in Megalopolis. Catwoman, on the other hand, represents independent filmmakers. She shares Batman’s (Coppola’s) ideals but operates outside the system, with her own struggles and goals. This reflects the parallel journey of auteurs who, like Coppola, work against the mainstream to preserve meaningful, artistic storytelling. The Penguin is the embodiment of blockbuster franchises, controlling, and thriving in Gotham’s underworld, much like massive IPs dominate Hollywood. These franchises overshadow unique, original projects, making it harder for films like Megalopolis to emerge. The climactic flooding of Gotham is a striking allegory for the overwhelming tide of formulaic filmmaking that threatens to drown out creative visions. Batman’s efforts to save the city symbolize Coppola’s determination to fight against these trends, keeping alive the possibility of meaningful, transformative cinema. Finally, the Bat-Signal itself represents Megalopolis - a beacon of hope in the darkness. Just as Gotham clings to the Bat-Signal as a symbol of salvation, cinephiles looked to Megalopolis as proof that bold, autoral films can rise above the chaos and offer something transformative. The Batman is a reflection of Coppola’s battle to save cinema from mediocrity, an allegory for his creative struggle, and a reminder of his dream to bring something monumental to a world then in desperate need of artistic renewal.

Rocky Horror: It wasn't a laser at all. Riff Raff was being sarcastic.
>SCOTT: Great heavens! That's a laser!
>RIFF RAFF: Yes, Dr. Scott. A laser capable of emitting a beam of pure
anti-matter.
People make fun of this line as if it's just sci fi pastiche word salad, since that's so consistent with the rest of the film. Obviously a laser wouldn't emit any matter at all.
But imagine Doc Brown telling someone from the 18th century: "Yes, a musket. A musket capable of firing 400 rounds per minute."
Riff Raff wasn't talking nonsense. He was making fun of Dr. Scott for thinking his alien antimatter tech was a mere "laser".

Super Mario Bros 1 takes place in a distant post apocalyptic future, where Luigi, Peach and Mario are from the past
I had this fun idea when I was in middle school, the idea is the first mario game takes place in a distant distant future, where in the past, some point in time, a huge nuclear war broke out, resulting in a new world to be claimed many new mutant species, most notably, the Toadstools and Koopas.
the plot of SMB1 would be, similarly, to H.G. Wells "The Time Machine" with some obvious and not so obvious differences
the plot would start with luigi and mario being your typical plumbers, just doing their job as per usual, fixing pipes and what not. they had a past of some interesting events, like subdueing a escaped gorilla on a construction site, or acting as a pest control in sewers getting rid of crabs and turtles infesting them. One day, however they are very low on bills and desparate to pay them on time, they find a job listing as a test subject for some new treatments, they agree with it, and get tricked into some cyropods along with some other citizens, including who will be later known as "princess peach"
sometime more or less later, a nuclear war breaks out due to unknown, yet, unimportant circumstances, making the cyro experiment left dormant without supervision for god knows how long
one day peach's cyropod malfunctions and she finds herself in a new world, however she is unaware of mario and luigi as their pods is out of her view and she assumes both men have passed away, and moves in with the toadstoole species for a couple of years, the toadstooles are a mutant species descended from humans and fungus, with her leadership skills and knowledge of the old world, she became the princess of the mushroom kingdom. However a threat looms nearby, as another mutant species known as the "Koopas", a race of reptilian humanoids, derived from turtles mostly, want control of peach's domain. she eventually gets kidnapped and the toads are scared what to do, however a old toad speaks of a prophesy of two warriors that would save their leader from harm, the leaders are in two "tombs". so the toadstooles go to the old cyrogenics site and open their cyropods. luigi and mario are a bit distressed a little bit, but once they get their bearings, they learn their friend was kidnapped by a big monster. so they both set off to rescue princess peach.
the story would be similar to the book, "The time machine" where there is a war between two species, one mostly peaceful, and one violent, and it takes a guy (and his brother) from the past to fix things.
much stuff in the game has many explantions, the goombas are a sub species that got tired of being discriminated and not taken seriously, so most goombas betrayed the toadstoole kingdom and joined Bowser, mario and luigi in "small form" are actually normal height, about 5 and 6ft, a magic mushroom filled with radiation and magic transforms them into taller and stronger beings, ditto for flowers and stars.
the many levels in game resemble old world buildings, as many bricks are actually ruins of old earth buildings, bonus coin rooms are buildings that naturally sank into the ground, underground levels are perhaps subway tunnels, bridge levels are remnants of the brooklyn bridge.
I think it's a fun idea, although many might not think it could be plausible, I just think it's fun to think on it in a future post apocalypse setting.

Universal theorie
So, I believe that since the universe looks like a nervous system, it really is one.The universe is a giant nervous system that sustains its own monstrous creature. We are a part of a single nerve in our size and cannot really harm the living being, but larger things such as black holes, which then "eat up" other things, could harm the living being, as they can be seen as a virus or bad bacteria. This creature is of course a cat because outside this large creature, there is a much larger world with many other cats, all of which have their own vast nervous systems involving planets, stars, and even, unlike the big cats we seem to live in, small life forms. These cats are of course all playing with a ball of wool and have a great life while we completely destroy their inner climate.

reason to keep his identity secret. However, that movie also turned Aunt May into Tom Holland’s Uncle Ben, so maybe…
MCU Gwen could serve the other half of the Uncle Ben Narrative. I’ll put this briefly, but Uncle Ben’s death served as a swift kick in Peter’s ass to stop using his powers for selfish gain (earning money via wrestling matches) and to use them to help people. There’s potential here for a Pre-Captain America: Civil War Peter Parker getting his powers and doing what real teenagers would do with super powers, have fun with them rather than be responsible with them.
I can see a tragic story centered around a version of Gwen and pre-Spider-Man/post-Spider Bite Peter figuring things out, only for Gwen to end up on the wrong side of an accident that would leave Peter extra-devastated because he could’ve easily helped her if he’d been there, or worse, if he inadvertently caused the accident in the first place. Reflecting back to Peter letting the robber at the wrestling match go, which led to Uncle Ben being killed. Maybe the masked Spider-Man identity was born out of shame, to keep people from connecting Gwen’s death to Peter’s recklessness, inaction, or just the shame of the idea that he could’ve helped.
Finally, there’s the clones. Honestly, I see no reason why Miles Warren can’t be responsible for Holland’s Super Spider Bite. A geneticist working on various projects, Midtown High has a field trip to the facility he works in, spider escapes and bites Peter. Warren knows Peter is Spider-Man from the jump, stalks him from a distance in the name of experimentation and develops an obsession with both Peter and Gwen. Sounds like a clean origin to me.
But what about Dr. Strange’s spell?
Screw it, lean into it! That can even be the excuse for why the clones are an issue now instead of back then. Miles has all this data on Spider-Man and Gwen Stacy, but everything pertaining to his specific identity is gone! His notes are incomplete and he needs to fill in the holes of his memory and data, so he starts a-clonin’!
Inject whatever Post Tony Stark science you want into it, and bam! You’ve got a Gwen Stacy clone who has all the memories of her original (because reasons), but she can’t remember Peter Parker has powers, because magic. That leads into a Spider-Man clone void of an identity for himself and the means for another Super Spider to be created that can bite both Gwen and get away to bite a young Miles Morales.
Anyways, that’s my idea. Will Marvel/Sony go with it? NO! Because it’s what I want to see, and we don’t get what we want in life, do we? Lol, in all seriousness, it’s just an idea. Convoluted and too long for most to want to read, especially up to this point, but that’s why there’s a TL;DR up top. If you did read this far, I hope you enjoyed it!

Why the BFG looks so old compared to the other Giants.
I believe the BFG is so old and frail, is simply due to him not being one with his Giant Nature, all of the other giants refused to be vegetarian, only if they had to eat the vegetables they would indulge. I believe when eating Children this reversed or made the giants bigger/youthful/ more powerful as this was their Natural Diet. Its quite a simple and obvious one but i always wondered why the BFG was so old and weak compared to his Giant Brothers.

Theory about Scar and Zira's relationship, and how Nuka, vitani and kovu came to the story.
How Zira and Scar’s Relationship Started, and how Nuka, vitani and kovu came to the story: My Theory
Zira might have been part of Mufasa’s pride before Scar became king. After Scar killed Mufasa and took over, Zira likely fell in love with him. She kept this a secret because the rest of the pride didn’t support Scar and would have seen her as a traitor.
It’s possible that Zira and Scar were close during his rule and even had a cub, Nuka. To avoid trouble with the pride, they may have kept Nuka hidden. When Scar asked Sarabi to be his queen, it could have been because he wanted to take everything that belonged to Mufasa, whom he hated. Scar may have even had feelings for Sarabi, but after she rejected him, he decided to have an heir with Zira to continue his legacy.
Even though Zira loved Scar deeply, Scar might not have felt the same way about her. His main focus was on power and taking control of what Mufasa once had. Later, Scar and Zira might have had another cub, Vitani. Like Nuka, Vitani was probably hidden from the pride when she was very young, as lions often keep their cubs away from others until they are older.
While Zira was caring for her cubs in hiding, Simba returned to challenge Scar. Scar’s other followers might have stayed with Zira to protect her and the cubs. After Simba defeated Scar and the hyenas turned on him, Zira may have come back to find Scar gone. Believing Simba was responsible for Scar’s death and angry at him, Zira showed her hatred openly. Because of this, Simba banished her and Scar’s other followers. Zira left with her cubs and went to live in the Outlands.
In the Outlands, Zira might have met a rogue male lion. At first, this lion could have tried to harm her cubs, but Zira and her followers defended them. This might have led the rogue lion to accept the cubs, which is rare but can happen. Over time, the rogue lion likely mated with Zira and the other lionesses, which helped grow Zira’s pride into the army we see in The Lion King 2.
Zira may have had another cub, Kovu, with the rogue lion. However, she never loved this lion. She only used him to make her pride stronger. At some point, the rogue lion either died naturally or Zira and her followers chased him away because he wasn’t strong enough to lead them.
Since Nuka was not very strong, Zira focused on training Kovu to become king and take revenge on Simba. In The Lion King 2, Kovu says that Scar wasn’t his real father, which fits with this idea.
Zira’s love for Scar likely grew when he killed Mufasa. She admired Scar for being smart enough to outthink Mufasa, who was stronger. Zira may have respected Scar’s cleverness and believed in his way of thinking, which made her love him even more. However, Scar probably didn’t feel as strongly about Zira, as his mind was more focused on power and controlling everything Mufasa once had, including his throne and Sarabi.
Additionally shortly after kovu's birth, simba and Nala introduced Kiara as shown in The lion king 2.
What do you guys think about my theory?
Does it fit in with the story?

Inglorious Basterds Hans Landa is a repressed gay man
Edited for typos
I feel as if there is something hinted at with Landa that is not stated in the portrayal of him on the screen. It seems suspect to me that without ulterior motives, one of the most ruthless Nazi officers would sell out his side. However, I think his personality might be coded which, since being gay was not allowed by the Nazis, might fit here. My reasoning:
1. Landa is shown to be heartless toward innocent women at least twice in the film. His misogynistic streak is obviously pointed at traitors to the regime as well as Jewish women, and it looks like he enjoys playing with Shosanna's fears throughout the film. Obviously misogyny is not a necessary precursor to being gay, but I think there may be a repression aspect which leads him to violence in order to mask vulnerabilities regarding his identity and the need to keep it secret from others.
2. He is familiar with a number of European cultures and likely has at least indirect experience regarding democratic peoples in Europe - being fluent in multiple languages and culturally fluent in other countries might have made him more exocentric has the average Nazi. In several world cultures, homosexuality will have been much more allowed than under the Nazis, and it is possible that he is more open minded in some ways than other high ranking officials are.
3. Like he says, although he may not have incredible faith in the Nazis as effective leaders, his selling them out is what ends the war - not merely the Basterds themselves. I believe he wants the Nazis to fail ultimately, because while he is a sadistic creep, he also recognizes that he has gained power underneath a regime of oppressive monsters who ultimately would not accept him for being himself.
4. At the end of the film (spoiler alert) he saves one German officer's life and is extremely upset when that man gets killed. Now, we know that Landa planned to live on Nantucket Island in a private residence and, presumably, now has to do so with a swastika on his forehead.
But before the final moment happens I wonder if he was planning to live there with the one officer that he planned on saving. I think they might have been trying to escape the regime because they were not accepted as a gay couple. And ultimately they end up being punished for their crimes (which are obviously in this case independent of their orientation).
5. Although it's passed off as humor, Landa is definitively interested in American culture and shows his unfamiliarity with it willingly in order to learn about America for himself. His capacity for cultural literacy is obviously not nonexistent anyway, but it's quite probable that for unmentioned reasons that he actually believes in personal autonomy and that he actually perceives his involvement with the Nazis as something he wasn't really a fan of in the first place - likely because he himself could have been targeted by them for reasons having to do with who he was.
I also think that a certain theme of the movie is that we can all turn into irredeemable monsters under some conditions and while Landa is certainly irredeemable to democratic sensibilities (and he is obviously a Jew hunter even though he's an apologist about it), it's likely that something makes him the way he is. Due to his portrayal this isn't impossible and might even be an intended reading of the film

Barbie (2023) is a metaphor for the War on Terror
The movie can be seen as a surprisingly fitting metaphor for the War on Terror. At the start of the movie, Barbieland represents pre-9/11 America—a perfect, peaceful, and self-contained world with no awareness of outside threats. This all changes when Ken discovers the "real world" and brings back a new ideology, turning Barbieland into "Kendom".This shift mirrors how the U.S. reacted after 9/11, embracing militarism and intervention to deal with radical ideologies. Barbie, on the other hand, reflects the American people during this time—trying to make sense of their identity and questioning the cost of their country’s actions. Her struggles to find meaning in a world turned upside down echo how many began to doubt the impact and justification of wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the toll it took on American values. Meanwhile, Mattel’s executives represent the military-industrial complex. They don’t intervene directly but profit from the chaos and make sure the system keeps running. Just like corporations that benefited from defense contracts during the War on Terror, Mattel stays in control while everyone else deals with the fallout.

Doc Brown built the Polar Express
I did post this theory a couple days ago but was unsatisfied with it so I took and down, edited it, and here's the more in-depth version :)
With the Polar Express celebrating it's 20th anniversary and Back to the Future about to celebrate it's 40th, now seems like a better time than ever to theorize about both franchises (Polar Express 2 is happening, so I consider that a franchise now). It's a fairly well-known fact now, that the Polar Express has a Flux Capacitor in it's engine room. While this was likely just meant to be an Easter egg placed by Robert Zemeckis, I think there might be more to it than that.
I recently read a theory that the North Pole of the Polar Express movie, exists in a different dimension from the real world, and that when the train appears, the kid that it's meant to pick up, is instantly transported into said dimension, hence why the parents and neighbors of these kids don't wake up when the train appears. Basically, the theory dictates that the North Pole exists in an alternate world that is identical to our own in every way, except it's covered in train tracks across the globe that all lead back to the North Pole.
What does this have to do with Back to the Future you may ask? Well, we know that the Conductor isn't the first Conductor on the train, since when talking about his first night on the job years before, he only says it was HIS first night on the train, not the first night of the train's run. That tells us that there was at least one other conductor before the one that we see in the movie. But who built the train, and why?
Well, Doc Brown asked Marty to destroy the DeLorean in Back to the Future Part III, because of how it could disrupt the space time continuum. So, by building a new version of the train that we see at the end of that film, maybe Doc discovered a way to not only travel through time, but also through dimensions. Perhaps Doc accidentally discovered the alternate dimension the North Pole exists, and decided to use his tech to aid Santa Claus.
Why would he do this? Well for one reason, he and Clara have two sons, who Doc probably didn't want to disappoint by refusing to help Santa. But another reason, could be that Doc sees this as a great way of using his inventions to benefit the world, without directing disrupting the flow of history. Sure, helping kids believe in Santa who otherwise wouldn't have, could be seen as interfering, but realistically, I don't think it would change all THAT much. Plus, Doc as seen as in the video game, didn't have a supportive role model growing up. So Doc would understand children's need to have a role model that they can look up to. Plus Marty's parents originally weren't that supportive of him either. His mom disapproved of his love life and his father wasn't shown to be that involved with him. At least until the end of the first film. Maybe Marty's lack of a role model led him to befriend Doc to begin with.
Also, why would Santa NEED his help? Well if we apply the logic of Elf (2003) to this world, then one could argue that Santa and the Elves rely on Christmas spirit, and Doc provided them with a way to preserve it without just having Santa unmask himself to the world. Also, maybe Santa couldn't handle the demands of children, as the population grew. So Doc provided him with a way he could literally freeze time (the Polar Express is stuck at 11:55 PM for almost it's entire running time), but also taught him something that Santa wouldn't have known about: recycling.
We see in the Polar Express that there's a section of the train dedicated to lost toys in need of new ownership, with the Conductor calling this a new thing the "Boss" came up with. Recycling is said to be a new concept in the Polar Express, so much so, that the Conductor doesn't even pronounce it right, calling it rebicycling. Maybe Doc provided Santa with the knowledge of future pollution, partly caused by discarded children's toys, so Santa started a recycling program. Speaking of that scene, the "Boss" we hear of, we never actually

Here is my theory about Doom & his team of Dark Avengers for Doomsday.
As we are getting rumours about the OG Avengers coming back in Doomsday. Here is my theory of how evil versions of these characters would work from Secrets wars pov.
Doom creates a team of deadly team of the OG Avengers and assigns them to rule some of the many territories of the Battleworld.
1.Doomstadt (Ruled by Doctor Doom)
Doomstadt is the central capital of Battleworld where Doctor Doom himself resides and governs Battleworld from. This city is modeled after a fusion of Latveria and the realm of Doom's personal ambitions.
2.The Wastelands ( Ruled By Captain Hydra)
A desolate, post-apocalyptic, harsh military-controlled region under Hydra's influence with remnants of the old SHIELD.
Captain Hydra, a twisted version of Captain America who was corrupted by Hydra and became their ruthless leader.
3.The Savageland (Ruled by Maestro)
The Savage Territories are ruled by lawlessness, where only the fittest survive and the rules of survival are dictated by brutal strength.
Maestro, the future version of Hulk, dominates this savage world with his immense power, crushing anyone who dares challenge his reign.
4.The Shadowlands (Ruled By Red Widow & Ronin)
A dark and fog-covered region that never sees sunlight. The Shadowlands are a territory of spies, traitors, and hidden agendas and the line between ally and enemy is always blurred.
Red Widow, a corrupted version of Black Widow, along with Ronin, a masterless warrior who once stood as a rogue Avenger, control this land through deception, manipulation, and silent assassinations.
5.The Stormscourge (Ruled By Evil Thor)
A region perpetually whipped by violent, unrelenting storms that tear through cities and landscapes alike. The Thor corps resides in this region and is the army of Doom's Battleworld.
Dark Thor, a corrupted version of the God of Thunder, rules over this region.
I know this is a bit deviation from the comics where Villians rule the territories but we all know MCU does alter the source materials and this could be an interesting take. Please share your opinions on this theory.

Red one theory
I have a theory about red one that santa let himself be kidnapped in order to change callum's mind on leaving
Evidence 1: We know Santa is JACKED out his mind burning 430 million calories a year and hes also able to jump in between houses casually for him to be kidnapped easily is weird he shouldve at least been able to fight them off as callum is able to knock one of Grylas sons out easily.
Evidence 2:Santa does not look worried at all when hes kidnapped. For someone whos about to get drained of his energy he doesnt seem to happy but not scared.
Evidence 3: I also believe Gryla was in on it too as its suprisingly easy for him to beat her in her ttue form. If thats not enough its also easy for Jack to break out of the snowglobe. I highly doubt Krampus designed the snowglobe to work like that.
Conclusion: Santa knew that callum was about to quit, so he hired Gryla to "capture" him. He knew no one in the North Pole would be able to find him so theyd need to get outside influence. Gryla had to fake being defeated to sell the idea they won.

Adapting The Clone Saga for MCU's Spider-Man
TL;DR, using the concept of The Clone Saga would be a good way to explore Tom Holland’s Spider-Man origins while introducing Gwen Stacy, Spider-Gwen, and Miles Morales into the MCU without doing more Multiverse stuff.
Spoilers for the MCU Spider-Man films
If you’re a fan of any kind, seeing the title probably gives you one of a few reactions: Morbid curiosity, frustrated groans, or maybe you’re new to the Spidey Franchise and have genuine curiosity. For the former two, just give me a chance here and I’ll be brief about it as well. For the latter, let me give you a much shorter explanation.
This all started with a name I’m sure you’re familiar with; Gwen Stacy. Assuming you may know nothing about her outside of the Spider-Verse movies, Gwen wasn’t a spider-powered person, but the first serious relationship Peter had in the comics. Glossing over the entire history and origin of the character, Marvel Editorial at the time thought the stories had gotten a bit stale, and they put out a story that led to her death just to shake things up.
Not long afterwards, Spider-Man writers introduced a character named Miles Warren. A biology professor at Empire State University, where Peter and Gwen attended. Warren was devastated by Gwen’s death, as he’d developed a serious crush… on his own student… with a very visible age gap. Anyways, Warren then proceeded to clone Gwen and Peter, leading to shenanigans many consider to be the “Original Clone Saga” where the end was left ambiguous as to which version of Spider-Man survived.
Fast forward to the ‘90s, and you have the incredibly convoluted, frustratingly stretched out, and infuriatingly over-dramatic series that many consider The Clone Saga PROPER, which I will not be going into detail with. All that’s needed is the entire event was about the “Other Spider-Man” coming back, both of them questioning who the clone is, and Marvel Editorial at the time wanting to send Peter Parker back to a bachelor lifestyle without enraging fans and undoing Peter’s marriage to Mary-Jane.
The reason I think this is possible is for two reasons. 1, Marvel/Sony already adapted another widely disliked story from the mainline comics into the movies, One More Day into No Way Home. 2, with the growing popularity of other spider people, like Spider-Gwen and Miles Morales, I could see The Clone Saga becoming an easy concept for the introduction of those characters into the MCU.
Personally, as someone who’s mostly checked out of the MCU at the moment, I would say Marvel and Sony need to make a regular Spider-Man movie first. A film that focuses on where Tom Holland’s Peter has been left off, looking and feeling more like a faithful adaptation of the character. Heck, maybe even establish a Harry Osborn. Go the route Amazing Spider-Man 2 goes and say he’s an old friend, but without them rushing to Green Goblin stuff.
I say that because I’d want to see part of an MCU Clone Saga take place in flashbacks. We spend one movie on a “normal Spider-Man,” a Day In The Life Of, if you will. Probably “remake” Homecoming, but from the perspective of a university student struggling with financial burdens and still figuring out this “Tech-Limited Spidey Life.” Establish the status quo before flipping it on its head again; or rather making a buffer between the two “Sagas,” because an MCU Clone Saga needs to be such.
So, I said before that I’d like to see flashbacks of Peter’s past in this MCU Clone Saga. What I meant was this would be a great opportunity to explore this Peter’s origins, but specifically due to my belief that Gwen needs to be from Peter’s past. I’m not a Gwen Stacy stan, but I cannot deny how important her character was to building the Peter Parker we know.
In the comics, her death marks a point in Peter’s career as Spider-Man to put an emphasis on why people can’t know his identity as such, to the point that he’s (ironically) irresponsible. Now, we can’t really go that route, since the “Home Saga” kinda ruined that with No Way Home’s conclusion acting as his
Squid game is government run
Squid game targets people in massive amounts of debt but more importantly usually people in debt to predatory parties like Mr. Kim who are at their core essentially just loan sharks. Not only that they use the bodies of the contestants to harvest organs from and take massive amounts of money from wealthy people who watch or gamble. In all they take money out of the pockets of organized criminals, get free live saving organs, employ disgraced police officers and likely psychopaths keeping them from killing people outside the game, and even are taking people from the lowest parts of society and either getting rid of them or lifting them up. I can totally see this being a solution some government would make to keep their society healthy.

Loki created agents of shield
So this is going to be a bit wild.
Loki seasons one and two takes place immediately after the first Avengers movie. This version of Loki has just grasped the timelines and has given them new life, and who is to say that his will for the timelines to grow has not been clouded by his guilt of the death of Coulson. Loki has shown that he pretends to enjoy horrid acts and if you watch Avengers again he pauses while stabbing Coulson, regret or satisfaction from his plan( who knows) but we do know that he is doing this out of fear of thanos. He is conquering earth while having made a deal for it to be spared as his domain after thanos gets the stones. It's his own messed up way of trying to one up his brother and gain his fathers pride which we find out later. Loki is fully the "hero of his own story" and we truly see that come apart in Loki. So is it coincidence that immediately after the first avengers movie the one death that he regretted the most was undone? The only reason Agents of Shield can exist is because the T.V.A didn't prune its timelines, they actually creates separate timelines in the show in the last season so much they have to find their actual timeline. Coulson gets to live a life, be a hero, be a father, a husband, have a flying classic car, go to space, experience anything life could possibly offer even though he had died. Could Agents of Shield be Lokis gift to his brothers pet human he regretted killing?

Request - 28 Weeks/Days Later Why don't the infected attack each other?
There was another post about this, although it was just on 28 days, and I think it was made before the 2nd movie came out.
Everyone seemed to agree it was like WWZ where the infected don't attack 'ill' people or 'infected' people because the goal is to spread the disease. BUT 28 weeks later throws a spanner in the words when Don attacks his wife after he gets infected, even though his wife is already infected.
Is there a way to explain this? Seems like a little bit of a plot hole, especially for the 'zombies' in the 28 franchise, since their entire thing is rage and they attack anything that moves.
This isn't to say I don't love the movies, I adore both of them.

Transformers G1 The reason the Matrix of Leadership didn't open for Ultra Magnus
In the 1986 The Transformers: The Movie, the dying Optimus Prime passes the Matrix of Leadership to Ultra Magnus. Magnus is later attacked by Galvatron, and fails to open the Matrix when he unsuccessfully attempts to use it to defend himself. Galvatron takes the Matrix for himself, only to later lose it to the "chosen one", Hot Rod/Rodimus Prime. Rodimus uses the Matrix to destroy the planet-eater Unicron, saving the universe.
Out of universe this is a classic example of the Hero's Journey, and Rodimus has the potential to grow into a respectable Autobot leader, but in-universe it makes no sense, especially when Ultra Magnus is already there as Optimus Prime 2.0, an experienced leader ready to take command. In many continuities the Matrix is somehow linked to the Transformer god Primus who personally chooses the next Matrix-bearer, but there is no indication that Primus exists in the G1 continuity (even Unicron, an evil counterpart to Primus, was shown to have a creator).
The Matrix was fully unleashed one other time, by the resurrected Optimus Prime to wipe out the Hate Plague. However, this depleted the Matrix, leaving it an empty shell.
In Beast Wars, the Maximals and Predacons (future descendants of the Autobots and Decepticons, respectively) travel back in time from the far future to when the original Autobots and Decepticons were in stasis on Earth. The Predacon leader attempts to destroy Optimus Prime, so Maximal leader Optimus Primal takes on Prime's spark within himself so his team can repair the dormant Autobot commander and restore the timeline. Optimus Prime's spark appears in a container identical to the Matrix of Leadership.
While the Beast Wars and Beast Machines cartoons are not canon to the original G1 cartoon, they take place in a similar continuity so it's reasonable to assume that a version of Beast Wars happens in the past/future of the actual G1 continuity. In that timeline, Primal may have taken the actual Matrix within himself. The Matrix is known to contain the wisdom of the ages, accumulated through the experiences of all the Matrix-bearers throughout history. Being from the future, Primal may have known that the Matrix was/would be used to destroy Unicron and to wipe out the Hate Plague.
The Matrix has a degree of sentience, and would refuse to let Ultra Magnus use one of its charges too early because it would be needed later.
TLDR: The Matrix absorbed Optimus Primal's knowledge of future events and knew it would be needed to destroy Unicron and to wipe out the Hate Plague.

(TERMINATOR) John needs Skynet to exist and Skynet needs John to exist too...
Due to the time paradox there is no original timeline in my opinion. Otherwise it would mean John Connor's dad was just some normal dude and for some reason John Connor was motivated to become the leader of the resistance.
The true timeline now is the timeline where John Connor's dad is someone from the future, having motivation to save the world and destroy Skynet. Because of this, Skynet actually needs John alive to exist to begin with. The future tech was reverse engineered in the past within this new original timeline, also Skynet only became self-aware in terminator 3 due to the future lady terminator hacking the system making it self aware, it never became self-aware on its own.
This could explain why the Terminators are always throwing John Connor around and acting like they want him dead when in reality it's is all going according to plan, giving him the inherent motivation...
Imagine if we eventually find out a twist or something, like the Terminators being sent to "kill" John was actually John himself to begin with. He knows that it is impossible to prevent Skynet, it's only possible to destroy it in the future, since trying to destroy it in the past actually causes it to become something else... Because of this, he must ensure Skynet gets created so he's able to destroy it and identify it being the enemy... As trying to change the past might make it turn into an even formidable enemy in the future like in Terminator Genisys/Dark Fate.

see. Sure, he could have been talking about Santa, but wouldn't it make sense if it were Doc Brown? Who better to oversee the Polar Express than the man who invented it? Then whose the Conductor you may ask? I think it could very well be an adult version of Jules, taking over the role of Conductor from his father after he retires.
Another thing to consider, is that Santa's sleigh upon takeoff at the end of the film, vanishes in a way not unlike how the DeLorean vanishes into the sky at the end of BTTF2. Leaving trails behind in the sky. Maybe Doc also retrofitted the sleigh with similar time freezing technology as the train.
Sure this theory doesn't explain the magic aspects of the movie, but that doesn't necessarily have to do with Doc or anything BTTF related. The Hobo is revealed in a deleted scene to be the ghost of a homeless man named King, who died trying to sneak onto the roof of the Polar Express. It could just be that his spirit haunts the train until he learns the true meaning of Christmas, which it's implied he doesn't know, since he's so cynical about Santa Claus. Maybe King is the reason Doc retired from being the Conductor in the first place. Maybe Doc felt regret over his death and became reclusive, forcing his son Jules to step up.
TL'DR: Doc Brown invented a time travel train to access alternate Earths, discovering an Earth where Santa and the North Pole exist. For the sake of the children of the world as well as his own kids, Doc agrees to help Santa modernize using his technology, creating a sleigh that can freeze time, and a train he can use to help raise Christmas spirit among the world's youth. However, when a homeless man dies trying to climb onto the top of the train, Doc retires out of guilt and his son Jules takes over as the train's new Conductor.

future. Black Doom meanwhile confronts Shadow with his dark and tragic past. Shadow also is working for GUN now, following directly off of the 100% completion mode of Shadow the Hedgehog. Sonic 06 is, in many ways, already a sequel to Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow’s focus is strong enough that he has the main villain relationship, the thematic parallels, and his story directly follows up on the events of his game. If you swap Shadow out with Sonic in the rest of the story, the writing becomes a lot tighter and more logical. Elise makes far more sense if it’s Shadow instead of Sonic. The entire plot of Sonic 06 becomes far more coherent and logical if Sonic is never involved. That suggests, to me, that Sonic was shoehorned into someone else’s story, replacing the original protagonist: Shadow the Hedgehog.
There’s also a weird thing in the gallery of Shadow Generations. A lot of assets for Sonic 06 are mislabeled as Shadow the Hedgehog assets, including those around the Eggman bosses and around Iblis. This seems like a very hard error to make, that should be both self-evident and easily caught. Unless their internal file directory comes from a time where they were named and labeled as being tied to a Shadow game, not Sonic 06. Then that mistake becomes a lot easier to make.
So, I think the original plot was thus: Shadow’s mission to free Rouge leads to Mephiles’s freedom. Shadow focuses on the mission and chases Eggman into the city, leading to him saving Elise from him. Shadow and Elise begin to bond as he protects her, with him being instantly able to connect with her due to how she reminds him of Maria. Silver comes back in time to kill him, having been told by Mephiles that that could save the world. The plot continues like normal, minus Team Sonic.
Shadow and Rouge get kicked into the future like Team Sonic does, but rather than meeting with anyone else, they free the future Shadow. Future Shadow and Past Shadow use Chaos Control together in order to get them back to the past. This makes a lot more sense than Sonic and Shadow easily creating a time portal, two Shadows meeting via time travel using Chaos Control together, the time paradox of the two of them touching combined with it ripping a hole in spacetime. Rather than Past Shadow remaining in a doomed timeline to fight Mephiles for no reason, the much more logical idea of Future Shadow being like “I can’t go back, erase this timeline” happens and he’s the one that fights Mephiles there. The plot continues from there, Past Shadow dies, Iblis is released, there may or may not still be a cosmic retcon to erase all the events.
