Black screen before Picker, when booting OC From USB
Hi guys.
I'm doing a hackintosh on a computer that is not very compatible but still doable.
I made my EFI myself, but when I start Opencore from USB, not even to show the picker, a black screen appears, but the monitor receives a signal and the black screen is part of the signal.
The thing is that when I go back to Windows, there are some LOG files in the USB, but even though I open them well, it says that there are a lot of characters but invisible.. as if they were spaces.

update to macOS Tahoe doesn't do anything?...
I'm currently trying to update my Sequoia Hackintosh to Tahoe Beta. I downloaded the update through the Settings app, and I found the installer in Launchpad. The installation runs, restarts the system, and appears to complete the update process. However, when I restart, it still shows Sequoia. Ouch!
I also needed to change my device name from "2019" to "2020 iMac" to get the update, but my CPU is an i7-7700. Could this be causing the issue?
Additionally, I encountered an installation error:
"AHCI deviceWithError 0, errCode = 0xe0030005."
Do you have any idea about what is going wrong? Thanks for your help!

I have a ThinkPad T460s, and i'm using this EFI, https://github.com/simprecicchiani/ThinkPad-T460s-macOS-OpenCore/releases/tag/0.8.5.1 but even with com.apple.recovery for Big Sur, Ventura, and Monterey, it just says the Windows ssd but no com.apple.recovery.boot?

Installing Ventura; Bluetooth keyboard issue
I'm in the process of installing Ventura on my system (I currently have Catalina and I'm doing this install on another hard drive just to make sure everything is working properly before updating my main system)
I followed Technolli's guide on Youtube for Ventura and used OCAuxillaryTools to make my EFI. Everything worked properly, but when I went to type on my bluetooth keyboard, it didn't work. What's funny is that if I have my USB boot plugged into my computer, even when I boot Catalina, the bluetooth keyboard doesn't work until I unplug the USB.
I did see this post on reddit, tried adding it to my config.plist, but still no luck.
I'm running a z390 designare and i9-9900k
Does anyone have advice for me?

Need help with a 17 inch iMac G4 repair
I recently bought a really cheap 17inch iMac G4 with 1GHz PowerPC G4 CPU, 1GB Ram, 75 GB HDD
I’m planning on buying a VGA DVI LCD Driver Controller Board Kit for LM171W02(TL)(B2) 1440X900 HD-MI and a Mac mini in order to use an updated system. I was under the impression that this was the correct controller board, but I am now seeing conflicting sources that say I need a LM171W02-A4 board which I am having more trouble finding. Does anyone with experience with a G4 have any advice (and would you be able to link me to any guides or sources that you’re using)

Adding GPU, how much work needed?
Very happy with my Lenovo M720Q running Ventura with 3 displays, it's my production machine. Then I see a compatible-ish 2nd hand GPU I'm tempted. Can I ask those who's been through adding GPU AFTER their hack is up and running how much work needed? Do I need to change SMBIOS from Mac Mini to other Mac that accept external GPU such as Mac Pro? What else needs to be reconfigured? Thanks much!

VANILLA SEQUOIA PROBLEM
I made an vanilla bootable pendrive, i selected efi for my gpu, and selected smbios as imac7,1 and i tried four smbioses. Always opencore boots correctly but after there is runing code after select MACOS SEQUOIA INSTALL and my computer restarts. What can I do with it??😭😭😭 plz help me guys, i believe you

Ryzen 5 9600X no dGPU possible?
I bought my Ryzen 5 9600X and an NVlDlA 5000 series GPU, they are both on their way right now. I know the GPU is not supported I am okay with that, I was just wondering if i will be able to run macOS on the ryzen 5 9600x and also use the igpu.

OpenCore 1.05 Released (7 hours ago) - quick test shows it's fine
OC1.05 is out and about via the normal channels: https://github.com/acidanthera/opencorepkg/releases, OCAT, etc.
Brief check (update from 1.04, update KEXTs, etc.) and reboot shows it works great so far...

I had a working hackintosh (dual boot with windows 11). I deleted it (using disk management) and now I am trying to reinstall macos using the same efi i used the first time (so probably nothing wrong with efi). But I am unable to reach the recovery screen. After some verbose text, the display loses signal. Monitor says "no signal". Keyboard RGB stays on the log file doesn't show any failure. The installer is probably running but without display. Tried unplugging and replugging hdmi. Didn't work. How can I fix this?
Pc specs: i5 12400f (no igpu), rx 6600.

Wifi/BT adapter for triple boot
My desktop PC runs Win11, Sequoia and Arch Linux (on 3 separate disks) and uses cabled Ethernet for internet connectivity. Now I am considering to change to wireless-only, so I need to find an PCI card that have both BT and Wifi. BT is optional, I can live without that.
My Mobo is a Gigabyte Aorus B550 if that matters.
Any specific recommendations?

No graphics acceleration on Iris Plus G7
This is my first time trying to hackintosh so forgive me if I don't know what your saying. So I managed to get macos sequoia installed but the problem is I can't boot without the -igfxvesa boot arg which means no graphic acceleration. I've tried whatevergreen's patches on platform id, device id, and 4K display patches as well but it wont boot. I am also not using any external displays, only the one built in. Here are the specs for my laptop:
CPU: Intel core i7 1065G7 (Ice Lake)
GPU: Iris Plus Graphics (Integrated)
Display: 4K UHD
Motherboard: HP

boot looping on ivy bridge hardware
Hey all, I've been trying to get this config to work for a few hours now with nothing working at all. I've been trying to figure out what is going on with the logs, but all I'm seeing is secure boot in the logs, in which I already have disabled. I also did a sanity check on the config.plist to see if anything is wrong but so far nothing that I can see. If anyone could help me with this issue that would be much appreciated.

Above 4G and ReBAR in bios breaks hackintosh?
Is there a reason why either of them being on makes the hackintosh unbootable? Even as a VM? I’m trying to multiboot on a hypervisor and if I must keep these two off the gpus behave feebly in other OSes
Can someone please shed some light on this subject? I’ve been struggling with it in one way or another for months.

Sonoma Wifi Ven Working Lenovo T480

I am new here and I have a problem. My hackintosh has no wifi. In Ventura wifi was working but now in Sonoma it isn't. I updated all the kexts from my working Ventura hackintosh and updated all the kext. Has somebody an idea? Or should I try update to Sequoia?

I use macOSX Sequoia and my main issue is that it is slower, comparatively to OSX 10.15 for some reason. Very slow but not laggy tho. I have 4GB of RAM and a Toshiba 1TB HDD. 10th gen i3 laptop series and iGPU (mobile)

I have no idea what im doing
i'm attempting to hackintosh on an old computer of mine once again ^((because i lost in the first round of a smash bros mii tournament)) but i have absolutely 0 clue what im doing, I am currently running Linux Mint on it (and i have dual booted it with windows xp)
I tried following Dortania's opencore install guide but once i got to the kext plist stuff i had absolutely no clue what i was doing and could not get it right and never even booted to the setup..
unfortunately i am limited in how many usbs i have and in turn ended up later overwriting this attempt with a linux mint installer once i ended up accidentally messing up my linux mint install by installing windows xp.
This is the specs i gathered of the computer when attempting this initially and i'd love to have someone help guide me through this (and if u wanna do it more live i do have a discord, but i must warn i can be pretty stupid at times)
