Am I not a true Sanatani if I am fine with caste but not casteism?
I am a parpaan. But everyone in my family eats out, travels in public transport, has friends across all castes, and don't believe in discrimination.
Yet, we stick to our brahmin practices, but make it a point to never judge, advice or instruct others about their beliefs, inhibitions or faiths.
Nor do we gatekeep our practices. Anyone can do whatever they so please.
Apparently if I am okay with being a brahmin, that means I have to be casteist, I have to see everyone as low-life shudras and I have an inherent superiority complex towards society.
I know that I don't have any of that.
Can't my spiritual practices alone be enough to validate my caste beliefs?
Am I a delusional sanatani?
