Why do Kerala media has no idea on how to report 'scientific study'?

This was a story that was upvoted and discussed well in recent times across social media and news channels. But what everyone missed is that this news is based on an article that barely qualifies as a study let alone a badly written opinion piece. This is the source of the study [https://nithinaf.blogspot.com/p/article-no-61-eng-alarmingly-increasing.html \]. I know for a fact media has habit of publishing pre-print results as study findings. But this does not even qualify for a peer review. The article is filled with inconsistencies has no methodology and has no source for the data. Forget drawing inferences, I can't even be sure if this is even a proper descriptive analysis of the situation

What do women of kerala believe
I was reading the book by k k shailja on curbing the pandemic. It is more like a brief memoir of kerala and how it has evolved. In the book she says everyone is kerala is atleast some what socialist even if it is beyond labels because they realise their rights. To truly be a socialist means many things. I am a woman from haryana and have visited kerala and have only loved it in many senses. I remain curious on what is the actual position of woman in the state and what do they think about it in comparison to other place?

Becoming burden on parents
Hello my fellow redditors
I am 25 years old and unemployed mechanical engineering graduate. Different situations and scenarios in my life got me into depression. I hated this world and confined myself in my room for about three years.
I love my parents they cared and fed me all these years. Atlast I realised that they are becoming old and I am becoming a burden on them every day.
They are giving me the signs that It would be better if I moved out because they are regularly pestered by relatives and neighbours by questions about me.
So I applied for many jobs but got rejected because of having no work experience and backlog history.
I asked my parents that I could try for some jobs in my town but they were very strict that if I did those odd jobs, their pride will be tarnished.
I really don't know how this world works
Please can somebody help me find a job and an accomodation.
I don't whether it is wrong to ask this here but this is my last resort.
Nowadays I find it very hard to continue this wretched life.

What's the issue with the dating scene in Trivandrum
For context, I'll be turning 30 next month, and I have been away from the dating scene for the past 5 years,because I was out of a job and I was preparing for UPSC.
Got a couple of Govt jobs lined up (UPSC didn't work out tho), so I decided to open a dating app profile, because that's what hip people do. /s
I can't find women around my age wtf, even after setting a lower limit of 25 years. 8/10 of the women there are between 18-22, and I don't want to swipe right on kids. Where are you older women?????
Is it a Trivandrum specific issue or Kerala issue. If this is the situation everywhere I'll need to either move out of Kerala or Malayalee Matrimony-il account open cheyyendi varum.

Opinions regarding confession
So long story short, I had a crush on one of my seniors while I was in my high school (she was 2 years elder than me). As all the crush stories happen my crush for her went away after some months but a year after while I was studying in my higher secondary I saw her again and started crushing on her again but just like last time it also went away after some time. Then after 2 years while I was in college I met her again In my hometown at some occasion, just like last time I started crushing on her again. Now I have finished my Undergraduate course and I’m in my first year of working and I’m still having crush on her after 2 years. It hasn’t gone away like last time. The story might sound cringe to some people, I’m sorry if this had bored you all a bit. But now I’m hearing she’s looking for proposals and I’m still reluctant to express my love for her because of the age gap, idk how she’s gonna respond. I’m not mad about her but she was the only who I had crush during my whole educational life. Can someone suggest me what should I do in this situation should I just tell her or what. Any opinions and roastings are welcome

Anyone else seeing a lot of Navy planes
Is anyone noticing a lot of navy planes around evening time (especially those in Ekm to south). I’ve been noticing a lot of them for the past few weeks around evening specially, going southward and back. Just wanted to know what was happening.
I got to know those were navy planes from flight tracker websites.
Also a constant buzz of helicopters lol.

Why aren't bus numbers a thing in Kerala?
Bus numbers make it easy for people to navigate without relying on others for help. Using consistent bus numbers across the state and across public and private buses will make it easy to track, schedule, and use buses as the primary mode of transportation.
Cities like Bangalore do this very well. We need to have a similar system throughout Kerala to make it useful. It seems like an easy enough task. Why aren't we doing this?
