Horrible delivery experience at KIMS trivandrum
I consulted a senior gynecologist at kims during my pregnancy. She is a good doctor but every poking and prodding is done by the PG / intern doctors under her. Fast forward to my delivery day- i was in the labour room ( beds divided by curtains) and the PG doctor in charge (gayatri )wanted the curtains in front of my bed wide open so that she can monitor me from the doctors station...mind you, male bystanders are allowed inisde the labour room from 7am-7pm. So i was a spectacle for random men when i lay there in pain.
Secondly , this doctor wrongly assesed my dilation and took consent for c section, as i was only half way dilated and my babys heart rate was increasing .Abt two mins later my senior doctor came and checked and said that i am fullt dilated and baby will be born now by normal delivery. I would have been unnecessarily subjected to a csection had my senior doctor been unavailable.
Thirdly , just after my baby was born this pg doctor manually removed my placenta. The epidural was ineffective and i was crying with pain. Thats when she said i'm lying about my pain and didnt offer any anesthetic. And was rude every single time. Later i was told that i had an abnormal cord insertion and thats why manual removal was required. I highly doubt this as none of my scans indicated any abnormalities.
After delivery, we stayed in a premium suite... unfortunately i could not rest at all because of mosquitoes. And mom and baby are to sleep in a single standard bed. I mean why dont they give baby bassinets in such a flashy expensive hospital??!!
Overall i had a very government hospital like experience in kims for my delivery.

Adopting a baby or child in Kerala/India. Anyone here adopted? What are your experiences?
Hi everyone,
My husband and my family planning process has not been going well after 5 years (it's believed I have unexplained infertility, did a few IVF cycles that failed as well). We are both open to adoption as we really want a family and wanted to know others' perceptions on adopting a baby/child from India (we prefer Kerala, but open to other states as well), especially from those who live abroad (We live in the US). Any insight? We know it's a long and tedious process and we know we may get spat on by naatukaar for "not having our own flesh and blood", but would like to know other ins and outs of it as well.

Nykaa delivery partner fraud ecom express kannur
So now I'm In a very bad situation and don't know what to do.
On 9/04/2024 I placed my first order on nykaa. It was a prepaid delivery.
It was supposed to be delivery on 15/04/2024 but it came early and reached my area by 12/04/2024. So that day I've had some mobile network issues so delivery guy was unable to contact me. I rescheduled my delivery to Monday. On Monday there was no call from the delivery partner and no message with otp came. So I contacted the delivery manager and he picked up after multiple calls and said the delivery guy met with an accident and my order will be delivered next day. So today I waited whole day for my order to be delivered. I again contacted the delivery manager at 4ish pm when there was no updates about it. He then said the delivery guy is in the area and will contact me soon. I asked him to give the number . But after 1 hour there was not updates so I called the manager again but he blocked me by then. Later I got otp with delivery partners number. I called him but he cut my calls multiple times. Now his phone is switched off. When I checked my nykaa app order history, it was said that delivery partner informed nykaa that I refused to accept the delivery. I have rescheduled it again to be delivered tomorrow.
I also checked their Google reviews and many had similar experiences with them.
I don't know what to do in this situation. Will I get my money back if my order get canceled ? Should I file a police complaint ?
TDLR nykaa delivery partner fraud. Not delivering my order and not contacting me. Reporting to nykaa that I refused to accept my order. What to do?

Kerala Consumer Commission ask BSNL telecommunication to compensate Rs 25000 for rendering poor service.
In a very recent case heard by the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Kerala, a consumer named Ms. Vineetha R. Kottai took action against BSNL( Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) and Mokeri Telephone Exchange for failing to give acceptable internet and telephone services. Here what happened in the case.
Vineetha had subscribed to a BSNL Broadband service back in 2015 through Mokeri Telephone Exchange. Still, from June to December 2018, she faced nonstop issues with her service. Despite reaching out numerous times for repairs, BSNL's General Manager did not handle her concerns. Indeed when she communicated Mokeri Telephone Exchange, they could not fix the problem because the Junior Telecom Officer was on leave until July 4, 2018. But indeed after the officer returned, no action was taken.
Frustrated, Ms. Vineetha filed a written complaint with the Junior Telecom Officer, but received no response. She also reached out to the General Manager of BSNL in Kozhikode. During this time, her landline connection also stopped working.
Although her broadband connection briefly came back on July 25, 2018, it failed again the same night. From June 30, 2018, onwards, it did not work at all. Feeling rightfully worried, Ms. Vineetha filed a complaint with the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Kozhikode.
The District Commission ruled in her favor, directing BSNL and Mokeri Telecom Exchange to compensate her with Rs. 25,000/-. But BSNL and Mokeri Telecom Exchange were not happy with this decision and appealed to the State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
During the appeal, BSNL's General Manager and Mokeri Telephone Exchange's Junior Telecom Officer asserted that because Ms. Vineetha's premises were 5.5 km away from the exchange, problems with the cable line were anticipated. They said getting authorization from original authorities for repair work involving digging up public roads was tough and financially not possible for just one party. They also mentioned that Ms. Vineetha was given reductions on her rent during the defective period and that they replaced the string in December 2018. They denied any wrong doing on their part and wanted the complaint dismissed.
Still, the State Commission set up Ms. Vineetha's side of the story more creditable based on the evidence presented. BSNL and Mokeri Telecom Exchange failed to back up their claims with evidence. They did not indeed say Ms. Vineetha was a defaulter at any point.
The Commission observed clear neglect from BSNL and Mokeri Telecom Exchange in addressing Ms. Vineetha's concerns to fix her internet and phone services. Simply offering a rent reduction did not excuse them from furnishing poor service.
Indeed though BSNL and Mokeri Telecom Exchange mentioned the distance between Ms. Vineetha's place and the exchange, she had always paid her bills without any issues. So, they could not argue that fixing the problems was insolvable due to distance.
In substance, the State Commission upheld the District Commission's ruling, holding BSNL and Mokeri Telephone Exchange responsible for their deficient service and ordering compensation for Ms. Vineetha.

Sahayikkanam, please. URGENT.
I joined a work part- time (my first job, due to no-so-good financial condition) on march 18. I was offered around 10k rupees monthly and no one mentioned anything about salary other than the offer letter. I received 1684 rupees for the 12 days that i worked for in march which is way less than the offered salary. Now that I asked about it, they are saying that there is a typing mistake in offer letter. There might be one since other part timers receive only 4500 but I already made plans with 10k in mind. Are they liable to pay what was offered to me ?
