I want to use kratom today as a one off I have never had a problem with it and I'm not worried about forming a habit but will it mess with my tolerance as a one off?
I'm on subs and wanted to just take a one off dose today I haven't used it In 8 months I was previously a oxy/h addict I love kratom for what it is and it really helped me when I originally got clean from opioids but things happened I'm on 4mgs a day of espranor and I'm just getting over a cold and wanted a boost to get me to the gym since I'm still getting over it and a little fatigued do you think it could help?

Ive been using for 3-4months staying around 6-9g per day. I’ve recently become paranoid of being addicted. So I took the last 24hrs off just to see. No noticeable symptoms. Is that long enough to start feeling withdrawals?

How to mix kratom properly when consuming the powder. Am I stupid?
Hello, I have tried kratom twice recently for the first time in powdered form. I was warned about the horrible taste, but have always been very resilient when it comes too taste, so didn't consider this is an issue.
I put 3-4g of kratom in a small cup and simply mixed it with water, stirred it and then drank it. It tasted horrible, but this isn't the issue....
Both times, this gave me diarrhea and for a full 24hrs. It's like the kratom just didn't agree with my gut. I feel as though maybe my ratio of water to kratom was too small and it did something to my gut??
I've never had tea before, but should I have 'thinned out' the kratom more efficiently and could this be the reason I had stomach pains? (e.g. I consumed a powder with minimal water).
Would it be better to boil a kettle, pour the kratom into a very large cup, then mix with boiled water, wait until it cools, then drink it?
I think I had stomach pains because I basically consumed it as a powder and only mixed with minimal water.

First time doing kratom ever
Just mixed me a glass of red borneo kratom with 1.7% 2.5 g and cocoa powder. Surprisingly, the kratom didnt taste bad as everyone is saying this. Maybe im just weird or its the product
Its just bitter but i dont think thats bad at all.
currently drinking that and yes it killed the cocoa flavor completely now it almost tastes like regular ass black tea.

T break after 2+ years of daily use
To keep this short, I began using kratom to successfully get off of a 2 year fentanyl addiction. I've been on kratom for over 2 years and went from 8g 3-4x a day and eventually made my way down to 2g 2-3xday for a few months then dropped it to 1g 2x a day for 2 days, .5 2x for two days then finally jumped for a T break. It's been roughly 20 days and every WD symptoms are gone except for some thermoregulation issues and some minor PAWS symptoms like fatigue, anxiety, and depression.
I've now decided that I'm not going back to daily use but I'm curious if I take a few grams right now for example would I be waking up with a runny nose and sweating again? Do I need more time? I have a big get together this Saturday with friends and family and would like to be social as I'm not really there yet with the minor PAWS. I'm not worried about this leading back to daily use just more setting me back on the progress I've made with my abstinence.

Anyone accidentally take too much and still feel out of whack days later?
I take extract now due to health problems making it so I can’t tolerate kratom powder (or tea) anymore. So idk if that has anything to do with it. Anyway I’ve been tapering cause I started taking a little too much for like a week or two and started noticing withdrawal. I was at 80mg 75% extract twice a day and a few days ago I accidentally took my second dose only like 50 minutes after my first without even thinking cause I woke up late. The most I’ve ever taken in a single dose is 100mg, so that was a lot. It felt super uncomfortable when it was kicking in.
I never actually got any of the side effects I’ve gotten in the past from taking too much powder for some reason. But it just felt really uncomfortable and I could just tell it was way too much. But 3 days later, I’m having the same side effects I get from taking too much LDN (low dose naltrexone, opioid blocker). So I think maybe I burnt out my opioid receptors or something since it’s so similar. I have this weird anxious energy that’s making it hard to sleep but at the same time I’m super groggy and tired, my body hurts, and my medication feels uncomfortable and less effective.
Has anyone experienced this? How long does it take to recover? Cause this is terrible.

Tinnitus and Kratom?
I will admit that my hearing is pretty shit and I typically have a bit of ringing in my ears, but I feel when I do Kratom the tinnitus gets extra loud. Anyone else experience this?

Tapering off foe the first time in years
I started taking kratom a long long time ago for nerve pain in my teeth. And I also discovered it helped dramatically with my mood and productivity.
Obviously over the years my tolerance is up. And although it still helps me, I'm tired of relying on it. I schedule my day around eating and taking it. I hate the feeling when it's wearing off and I feel tired and just useless.
I am down to taking 3g 3 times a day, about to go down to 2 today. I love kratom and it's been so helpful, but I'm ready to slowly be done!

I have a moderate drinking problem -in my measure it's an issue. Drinking at least once a week. I do it to relax, which is starting to get to me no abstinence but I'd very much like a substitute. Its either that or start up a side business to keep me occupied during the weekends.

Chemical consequences of kratom- acid or alkaline?
So a rather random question that is very important to me just now! Without a long explanation as to why - I just need to know if kratom acidifies urine or alkanizes … does it tend to raise or lower Ph?
Briefly, I have a medication here that only works in an acid environment in the bladder. It doesn’t seem to be working for me as I’m running very alkaline … 7+ ph. I’m trying figure out the cause and without great detail as a post menopausal granny I’ve got several culprits - one of which is daily kratom. Pretty tame at 3-4 gram doses (with OJ which may affect ph as well) around 3-4 x daily.

I've found the 8 capsules were a perfect amount for me but I'm starting to not feel anything now so I've been trying 10 capsules and it gives me the wobbles. I got really hot and dizzy at work last night for a couple of hours. Would dropping down to 6 capsules still give me the euphoric effect?

I never lash out at others, but when I’m alone and on kratom I have a tendency to get super mad at little things I normally wouldnt, and especially mad at things I normally get mad at. Anyone else feel this way?

Tolerance question
I recently got my hands on some higher quality kratom and I was blown away. The kratom I was using was feeling weaker and this one was great.
I even went with smaller amount than with my previous kratom and it gave me that nice high with that really nice “tummy feeling” (I’m sorry idk how to describe it lol) but it stopped after 3 days and now it just gives me this “weird” high. My head just feels light and that’s about it.
There are few things so I want to make some sense of it.
1. I was without kratom for over 4 days before I got this new one (which could explain it, but taking short random breaks for few days is nothing unussual, I do it often, even went 48 hours without this new kratom after it stopped having effect)
2. I have some kind of cold rn (small headache and stuffy nose)

I want some but it's sooo hard to get and I want quality stuff I can mask the taste of. Kava is legal here and I have to take a ton to feel it and it tastes like literal dirt I'm Tryna get a nice tea that makes me high and feel good without tasting like manure.

Are restless legs/entire body a symptom of Kratom withdrawal?
A few nights ago I had the worst restless legs/arms/body of my entire life. I was just squirming around in bed and had to move every 5 seconds. It was horrible.
I have been taking anywhere from 7-10g per day but don't really count most days. I am thinking I need to start a taper tomorrow because I don't want an addiction to this.
Any tips or ideas of if this was a withdrawal symptom? I usually feel like shit in the morning until I've had my coffee and kratom combo then like 45 minutes later I feel back to normal.

Long time Kratom user with a question
I accidentally swallowed a chewable not thinking. I know it won’t hurt me but will it help? I was worried about the efficacy and whether or not I wasted a pill. You would think it would dissolve and that’s that. I always thought the chewable tablets were just so it would kick in more quickly.

Kratom And Immune system
Just gathering opinions and/or experience with Kratom and immune health. Do you find it lowers or helps your immune system?
I’ve been on moderate doses of kratom daily for about 2.5 years. Total 10g a day. Never more than 12, reputable vendors, no extracts. I’m Very strict with my dosing. I eat well, workout, take supplements and immune boosting mushrooms. I live an extremely holistic lifestyle.
I just received a call that from my dr that I need a biopsy for abnormal, what could be cancerous cells that I have not been able to fight off naturally. Rather than go into detail (most women know what I’m referring to). I’ll spare you.
A friend said, “that’s because you’re on that kratom shit…if fucks your immune system you should get off it now .” However I don’t think this is true. Since being on Kratom, I NEVER get sick. I managed to avoid COVID and I work with the public. I wanted some feedback from the crew here. kratom has done wonders for me mentally and physically that no SSRI or anxiety or pain medication ever has…and I’d hate for that comment to have any truth behind it. Anyone have experience with Kratom for pain?
Hey everyone, my boyfriend is having some serious middle back pain, its come on all of a sudden and nothing OTC for pain seems to give him relief. I suspect it is either a pinched nerve or a pulled muscle of sorts. This isn't chronic and before I start searching for prescription pain meds, I would rather try something less... illegal.
I am by NO means looking for illegal substances and am just looking for some general advice and personal experiences before trying it as I have heard some mixed things. I would prefer someone with experience using it for short term issues.
I am not concerned about addiction with him as he can pick up and put down things with ease.

Triforce Tea: The Best Way to Drink Kratom
I think I may have stumbled onto a solution for Kratom consumption. I like experimenting with random stuff and I found a combination that will mask the flavor of Kratom while also getting you a decent dose of caffeine if that's your thing. Here's the secret formula for Triforce Tea.
Kratom Powder, a bag of Earl Grey Tea, and a bag of Chai Tea. The flavor is complex without being overpowering. I like the taste of Kratom and I can't find it in this mixture. The spices from the Chai and the oil of bergamot from the Earl Grey take up too much real estate on my tongue to leave room for Kratom's signature bitter flavor.
If you want mega caffeine have full caff for both of the tea bags. Regular caffeine have the earl grey decaf or have the chai tea herbal without black tea in it. Or have both decaf earl grey and herbal only chai tea if you don't want caffeine.
