🚨Need Help Here In Delaware Where We Operate

Over here in Delaware we need your help. We have two competing bills. One ban bill and one regulation bill. The ban bill makes this schedule one. Absurd.

SB 232 (Ban Bill)

https://legis.delaware.gov/BillDetail?LegislationId=142963

HB 332 (KCPA Regulation Bill)

https://legis.delaware.gov/BillDetail/143020

I have personally met with and spoken to multiple lawmakers on this issue including the sponsor of the regulation bill. I had a meeting with the sponsor as well as the AKA yesterday. I've been working on this everyday as well as trying to help other states. There is a strong possibility of passing this regulation bill and killing the ban bill. However she emphasized that she NEEDS advocates to send in emails of support to the committee with the regulation bill. She wants members of the committee to see that this is what people want. It would be wonderful to see a KCPA bill passed amongst all of the anti kratom chaos lately. We also wouldn't have to close down 😡

I will paste their email addresses below in blocks of five to avoid anti spam filters. Give them your story. Let them know that you support HB 332(KCPA) and why. The addresses will be in easy copy and paste format. All you have to do is highlight, copy, then paste. Of course it's best and seems more personal if you do them individually. But you do what you feel is best!

‼️ TN KRATOM BAN UPDATE – FINAL STRETCH

The House has officially passed the kratom ban, and it has now moved through Senate Finance.

Next stop is the Senate Calendar & Rules Committee, and after that it goes to a full vote in the Tennessee Senate.

This is one of the last chances to stop this bill before it reaches Bill Lee.

Here is what you need to know.

This bill, SB1656, is moving quickly and only has three sponsors: Todd Gardenhire, Joey Hensley, and Randy McNally.

A lot of legislators are not getting the full picture. They are being told that all kratom products are the same, which is simply not true.

The biggest issue being ignored is the difference between synthetic or highly concentrated 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) products and natural kratom leaf. These are not the same thing.

Natural kratom has been used responsibly by many adults for years. The concerns being raised are largely about concentrated or altered products, not the natural plant itself. Banning everything because of 7-OH is like banning coffee because of pure caffeine powder.

Right now, many legislators are relying on incomplete or misleading information. That means individual outreach can actually make a difference.

If you are in Tennessee, now is the time to act.

Call your senators if you can. If you cannot call, send emails. Try to send emails individually rather than mass sending so they do not get filtered out.

Keep your message simple. Ask them to vote no on SB1656. Explain that natural kratom is not the same as 7-OH products and that regulation makes more sense than a full ban.

If kratom has helped you in any way, share your story. Personal experiences carry more weight than anything else.

You should also reach out to Bill Lee. If this bill passes, he still has the ability to veto it.

This bill is moving fast, but this fight is not over.

Once the Senate schedules the final vote, I will make another post with updates.

I will include senator contact information and links below. Please take a few minutes to reach out. It does make a difference.

Tennessee, do not stay silent right now.

about to open for the day and it's the last day of the state fair and it's going to be busy as fuck. There's people everywhere. It takes forever to walk any distance because of all the people. I lived on the state fair grounds in a trailer. As I'm still trying to figure out how I'm going to get the little money these fucks owe me so I can bounce, some little kid runs up to me and asks me if he's tall enough to ride the zipper. Yup definitely tall enough kid. He started grilling me after that, asking me 101 questions. He was so excited.

At some point during my conversation with the kid, I asked him if he wanted to go over and see the Zipper. Next thing I know, I'm inspecting the ride because we were about to open. I have to test run the ride 10 times before I put a soul on it. That's after inspecting the level, blocking, pins, and everything else. As I'm cycling the ride, I'm watching these buckets flip on this empty Zipper flipping around two feet from my face, and as I think to myself I remember, what the fuck happened to me leaving? rofl. It was kind of surreal.

Then I remembered that jar of green-ish-brown dirt-like sludge that fucking old man gave me.

I was stunned. It was too good to be true I thought. I felt fine. I wasn't fucked up or even noticeably under the influence of anything. I was cheerful and I was extremely sociable with the patrons. I was having fucking fun for the first time in a very long time.

One thing I learned is that the flashing lights, amusement ride patrons screaming, kids running laughing, rides spinning, the happy faces, just all around good vibes, helped me sooo much! I gotta give credit where credit is due!

I thought to myself if I can do this everyday, I'm straighttt but like I said, I thought it was too good to be true. So I found that old man and asked him what that was specifically and where I can get it. I went to the smoke shop and bought it. I went to bed that night and woke up the next day hoping that the kratom had the same effect it did the day prior. I had almost convinced myself I was victim to the placebo effect. I took it and it fucking worked again. I went back and bought a kilo (\~35oz) of it.

I stayed out on the road for almost three years. It's been 10 years now, 7 since I been home from the carnival and I still haven't touched heroin. I am still taking the kratom everyday. It has taken the edge off for me just enough I've been able to keep gritn' and grindin' putting one foot in front of the other.

I still don't have insurance. I've got three children I support. I've got a job and I love what I do. I don't drink alcohol because like everything else, I like it too much.

Now comes the part why you are here reading this;

The Tennessee state legislature has signaled they will be outright criminalizing kratom and its' alkaloids.

This is horrible news for me and I am extremely worried.

The current legislation threatening kratom came about because of the death of a man named Matthew Davenport. He died of a drug overdose. His official cause of death was; Diphenhydramine, Mitragynine, Duloxetine, and Buspirone intoxication.

Mitragynine is the main alkaloid in kratom.

Davenport had 3,000 ng/ml in his blood. ¹ 1,000–5,000 ng/mL are considered toxic levels. ²

Kratom is not without its' risks, just like anything else but when used with common fucking sense, it's not gonna kill you. Now, when you start going into the extracts and isolated alkaloids that are semi-synthetic and in very high concentrations, these pose a significant risk to the consumer. Most notably, it's extremely habit forming and expensive.

The government, both federal and now Tennessee, allege kratom has resulted in death. They claim kratom alone has been the cause in several cases. Even if this was true, millions of Americans take kratom. So, we're talking a handful out of millions of people. Most notably, is the fact that nearly all of the reported cases of overdose where kratom is found in the toxicology report, illicit drugs were also found, ie nearly everyone was a poly-substance user, that

Читать полностью…

Kratom

includes Mr. Davenport.

Medical journals have already proven that kratom can be safe and effective, along with being a safer alternative than other illicit drugs that are unpredictable and deadly but to be frank; if you drink some kratom tea, smoke crack, smoke meth, inject fentanyl, take a shot of vodka, boof MDMA, and chain smoke cigarettes, it probably wasn't the kratom that killed yah!

This is akin to 'reefer madness'. Have we not learned anything yet?

The legislature seems pretty strong on where they stand with this so the only way it can be stopped is an overwhelming response from Tennesseans.

Kratom undoubtedly does much more good than bad. Banning it will cause pain and suffering for hundreds of Tennesseans. The ban is uncalled for and totally unnecessary.

Some seniors use it for pain. People use it for anxiety. Hundreds of Tennesseans and I use it as an alternative to other drugs that are dangerous, we use it to stop cravings and fight withdraw. Dogs can take it for pain. Banning it will cease all research into the plant medicine for the foreseeable future in Tennessee.

To see high concentrations of alcohol in liquor stores, such as Evercleer, and to think they are banning kratom is just dystopian af.

Regulation is very much needed but prohibition will only make the opioid crisis worse.

This all goes without mentioning the financial loss Tennessee will have because this law will cause businesses to close and people will lose jobs.

# Please, if you have a few minutes, contact your Tennessee legislators and demand that kratom stays legal. Demand that the kratom industry is regulated to protect the consumer from salmonella, contaminants, pesticides, and semi-synthetic alkaloids.

how kratom saved a tennessee mans' life...

Dear my fellow humans,

I used heroin and any opiate/opioid I could get my hands on for over a decade but It's been well over a decade now since I last injected anything.

I wanted to stop doing that shit for a long time. For fucking years I was miserable and wanted to stop. My life was dark af. I spent half my life feeling like shit and the other half waiting on the drug dealer. I tried all of the typical drugs (MAT) used to treat Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) & Substance Use Disorder (SUD). None of them really worked for me. Methadone works but can be expensive for someone with no insurance and no cash, I've never had health insurance and I was flat broke at the time. I tried to stop so many fucking times.

I was such a burden on my friends and loved ones. I stayed out of trouble for the most part but I was a walking POS and if I was talking to you, my motives were always bad and I was just looking for a way to get over on you.

I was completely drained, life was dark. I was slowly checking out of this life., it was only a matter of time I did a shot that made me hit the floor and nobody be there to give me Narcan or call 9-1-1.

About a decade ago, here in Memphis, heroin became harder and harder to find. Then, after a while, the stuff you did find was absolute garbage or not H at all. Then this new drug came on to the scene, slowly at first and then all of a sudden, boom, the h is gone and nothing but powdered illicitly manufactured fentanyl and counterfeit pressed oxycodone 30mg containing only illicit fentanyl.

This was about the time that I was going through Millington and saw a little carnival setup next to Kroger. When I was younger I used to help the carnival setup and assemble the amusement rides, so I stopped to ask if they needed any help. The owner gave me a job. When it came time for the carnival to jump to the next city, they asked me if I wanted to travel with them. I ended up buying a large amount of drugs with the money I made that week and literally ran away with the carnival.

I stretched the dope for as long as I could, lasted me about 3 weeks. By the time I ran out we had already been to three major US cities and were all the way in West Palm Beach, Florida.

I had been dreading the day that I would wake up without any dope. I was so fucking far from home, no way I could get home in any reasonable amount of time. In the back of my mind I had been plotting this against myself. I knew the day was coming.

I woke up that morning with no drugs and I was already sick. I had only used a very small amount one day earlier, very early in the morning.

The moment I woke up I picked up my phone and started calling back home to Memphis to try and get someone to send me a bus ticket. I had already made up my mind that I was going to leave, go back to Memphis, and get high. I had given up after only 1 minute into the first day without the H.

As I was packing my shit, I saw the Old Man step out of his trailer, he was some old timer that operated the Ferris Wheel. He was carrying one of those big ass mason jars with a lid on it, filled to the brim with some foamy, dark green-ish-brown liquid.

This fucking guy must have saw right through me because the first thing he said to me was, "you look like shit." I will never forget this interaction, it is so vivid it seems like it was yesterday, a true defining moment in my life.

He got me to smile... I asked him wtf was in the jar. He told me "kratom". He reached his arm out and went to hand me the jar and said, "here, slam it."

I already felt like death and at this point I hoped it would kill me for all I gave a fuck. I downed the jar and handed it back to him. The old man nodded and walked off. It definitely tasted like death as well.

I go back to packing my shit because I'm fucking outta here, I wasn't about to sit in Florida hot as FUCK, withdrawing, I was getting paid $350/week for 60hrs with a $60/wk peridium (← unsure of the spelling)... carnival owners are pos. That's another story though.

Anyways, the carnival is

IOWA SF2192 (KRATOM BAN) UPDATE: It's looking like the advocacy is working! Keep it up!

I just received an email response from Iowa State Senator Mike Zimmer. According to this state senator, it looks like the ban is on hold. I will copy and paste the contents of the email below. Please feel free to comment with any other updates that you may have heard. Thank you!

Email:

Thank you for your advocacy on this, or any, issue. The Senate Majority Leader pulled the kratom bill, SF2192, from the debate calendar yesterday. Our current understanding is that the bill will not be heard in the Chamber. However, as with any bill, we can never say never until sine die, the final end of the legislative session.

IOWA SENATE DEBATE TOMORROW THURSDAY APRIL 9 2026

UPDATE

They Senate adjourned early. Only the kratom bill was left on the docket. The Republican went out for a caucus for about 25 minutes before resuming (clearly were discussing their strategy on the bill).

I assume that they knew this bill debate would go on for hours and were too tired to fight about it all night. This will likely be the first bill in order on tomorrow/Thursday morning. Expect it to be a long debate. I have only heard back from two senators, both democrats. One said he opposed it and would also point out the "FDA approved" language that actually would still ban it. The other said thank you and he will keep my thoughts in mind (probably an on the fence guy).

I am moving to Iowa in two months and don't even live there and they are responding to me....SO PLEASE WRITE THEM IN THE NEXT 12 HOURS ASAP! They read your emails! The time to do so is NOW and there is very little time for more input. No one else is going to advocate for you so please take the time to write them!

IMAGINE THAT YOU ARE THE ONLY ADVOCATE AND ONLY YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE AS YOU CAN'T COUNT ON OTHERS TO NECESSARILY ADVOCATE!

Journalist working on kratom explainer for The Guardian seeking your perspectives

Hello, my name is Hannah Harris Green. I am a journalist working on an explainer about debates over kratom for The Guardian, and am looking for people who use natural kratom to help in their opioid addiction recovery to interview for this piece. You can be anonymous. My deadline is this Thursday April 9 so please reply quickly to be included. Happy to answer any questions.

Edit: I have some perspectives on pain management with kratom already. This piece will be relatively short and will not cover every aspect of kratom, but the addiction recovery perspective is an important one to include, thus the focus of the post.

Edit 2: Thank you so much for all these responses. I am corresponding about potential interviews via dm. Only have limited room for this particular story, so I can’t include everyone, but I am planning future coverage as well and will keep all these stories in mind.

. THR BAN goes through Friday but I will not stand for this shit. Unlike other states that just rolled over and took it we cannot. Im organizing a protest outside the government building in Topeka, we can't keep letting the government take everything that will help us. Regular plain leaf kratom powder should be safe/ even regulated not completely banned and scheduled as a dangerous narcotic there's absolutely no reason it should be banned who would show up? a thousand voices are better than just one. maybe we could have this overturned, protests have overturned other laws and stopped other things bigger than this before

Iowa Residents: Update on the Kratom Ban HF2133 and SF2192

Today the Iowa Senate did not bring up the kratom ban for debate. While the bill is still on the calendar, it looks like time ran out and there were still caucus discussions about the amendment. The amendment filed by the sponsor would make kratom legal only if it is FDA approved. Since no kratom supplements are FDA approved, this amendment would still effectively ban kratom.

Because the Senate didn’t debate it today, there’s a chance it could be brought up tomorrow or later this week. However, if they continue to delay, there may not be enough time in the session for a vote, which could mean the bill dies for the session.

This is why it’s extremely important we keep making our voices heard. Call and email your Iowa senators and tell them to oppose HF2133 and SF2192. Explain that the FDA-only amendment is effectively still a ban and that you want common sense regulations like age gating and required lab testing instead.

Even if the bill isn’t debated today, staff are tracking calls and emails and reporting them to senators. Your voice can make a difference, especially for those senators who may not fully realize that the amendment still bans kratom.

Just want to know what it's like and what to expect. First and foremost I want him to be aware that HB757 violates section 51 of Kentucky Constitution. He needs to tell the senate committee behind this bill that's not how you do things in America.

If we can convince him to veto this bill then it goes back to GA. Then we'll have to bombard them and convince them to remove the kratom ban language.

I’ve heard 1 level teaspoon should be about 3g of kratom, well for me 1 level teaspoon is only 0.45g. Is fluffy kratom worse quality ? Another issue that I have is that when I want to take 4g I have to take 77 capsules or 8-9 teaspoons, which can be extremely disgusting, and especially 77 capsules always mess with my stomach, any way to „compress“ the powder ?

Psychosis experiences - moderation

Psychosis experiences - moderation

I've been using opiates since I was 18 at 20 I got clean until an accident they prescribed them to me for in 2013. in 2014 after they stopped prescribing them I came across kratom as a safer method and used it ever since. Outside of the depression and anxiety from heavier abuse, I started experiencing delusions and psychosis in 2016. I kept drinking and taking kratom up until 23' when I got sober from alcohol and 24' I tapered slowly off kratom with lots of help and support of the people on the internet.

I thought alcohol and kratom were what was causing the delusions and psychosis so I quit. Fast forward 2 years and I just had a psychosis relapse while sober. they prescribed Suboxone 4 months after quitting kratom cause they said I was going through PAWS and I've been on that since. I want off everything though but the psych meds to see what my base line actually is. what they are prescribing me now doesn't help a shit ton. I'm having mania, and panic attacks from the anxiety and on top have been severely depressed since getting sober. Recently I finally started having kratom cravings. I just need some type of relief from this stuff. my hair is falling out from the stress of it all.

My question to y'all is, how many of you hear voices, believe delusions, or have had non substance induced psychosis? If any, did kratom help alleviate those symptoms at all in moderation and on a strict protocol? I've gotten really good at tapering myself off things over the years and taking things by the book. i am wondering if I should return to responsible kratom use to help stabilize and get my life back on track. like I have barely been able to work. It's been ridiculous and debilitating for me mentally and physically. Sobriety things are supposed to get better. I'm just so tired of the stress. so tired. It's impossible for me to relax and I sleep in fragments for over 8 hours. I don't know if the meds shot my nervous system or if long term alcohol use, kratom use, isolation, depression, and sedentaranism shot it but it's absolutely shot.

The largest problem is it puts me in a state of freeze constantly. My brain runs 90 mph while my body can only go so fast and feels hard to move.

Thanks in advance for any insight you all may have. I would very much appreciate not being alone in this but I'm simultaneously always alone. Much love and respect.

Kratom

Kratom Static electricity

While making capsules, the KRATOM literally flies in all directions due to the static electricity. I use the classic capsule machine where you can make 100 at a time. And it is impossible to work properly with that plastic spatula. While leveling, the kratom powder flies in all directions. With a metal spoon it is slightly less bad, but still.

What is the best thing to use to level the capsules? A small wooden spatula?

This is the first time something like this has happened to me. It is also the first time I have a 1000g package instead of a 100g one. This large package was vacuum-sealed, unlike the 100g bags. Is that the reason? Is that the reason?

Kratom

includes Mr.

Anyways, the carnival is

about to open for the day and it's the last day of the state fair and it's going to be busy as fuck.

Now comes the part why you are here reading this;

Kentucky HB 757 is a direct violation of the Kentucky constitution.

Section 51 is explicit. A bill cannot relate to more than one subject and that subject must be expressed in the title. They buried a full kratom ban inside an unrelated bill at the last minute with zero public hearings. That is not a gray area. That is directly, unapologetically unconstitutional.

The single subject rule exists specifically to stop legislators from doing exactly this. We were never given the chance to show up and be heard. That was not an oversight. It passed without any input from the citizens.

A constitutional violation is hard to ignore.

Contact him directly. Contact all 130+ representatives. We have to fight. We absolutely have to fight.
