I’ve heard about kratom for years but I have no knowledge about any of it. I heard there was one that will help with H/Fent withdrawals. Is this true? If so which kind is it?

Hoping to get some support again from this community
So, you guys, I am very lucky in that I have some really good kratom right now that I'm using for pain and anxiety after extensive foot surgery. Fortunately, I have enough to last me a couple of months.
However, I am wondering if anyone has experienced much withdrawal after their really good kratom ran out?
Unfortunately, I'm going to require inpatient physical rehab for quite awhile and probably won't be able to shop for better kratom.
I have LOTS of not-so-good kratom that I have bought over the years. I am wondering will that be enough to keep me from having really bad withdrawal, do you think? Has anyone had the experience of having to "make do" & do you just adjust to it after awhile?
Can you tell that one of my big issues is anxiety, haha? ;) I SO appreciate this community because it helps more than just about anything to make me feel less alone.
I do have friends and a niece visiting me every so often but unfortunately I am spending much of my day between physical therapy sessions in my room alone 😔😔😔

Where’s all my Kratom scientists at I have a question?
I’ve gotten the wobbles A LOT lately. I usually take 7 but I’ve been lowering my dose lately with the help of mitraginyne extracts and full spectrum extracts. I’ve noticed that I get the wobbles from full spectrum extracts, not from pure mitraginyne. I’ve literally taken as much as 400 mg of mit extract in a short time period and felt AMAZING with ZERO wobbles.
But when I take these full spectrum extracts I get it pretty easily from just 200 mg of full spectrum. So this leads me to believe that it is not mitraginyne, but some other alkaloid that causes it.
My question is do any of yall know which alkaloid is responsible for the wobbs? There is nothing worse than taking my pre work dose and realizing that I’m gonna show up to work dizzy asf.
Any input, thoughts or experiences would be greatly appreciated!

What is a good potentiator for red vein kratom for sleep 😴
Chamomile tea worked amazingly for me. But it has stopped working.
Does anyone have a good alternative?
And I read that sometimes you need to take a break from potentiators before they start working again. How long does that take?

Rhode Island Kratom Legalization goes into effect April 1, 2026

Fight for kratom.
Kratom is under severe attack, nearly everywhere. Mis information campaigns are nearly on all corners, and there's not enough people fighting because they're use to victories since 2017 up until this year.
We lost Louisiana, and Connecticut. This is why it's important to always call, email, show up for hearings to protest against said ban bills and to spread awareness. A little sad we lost these states, Louisiana had 300,000 people that do kratom in their state alone, and only 30 people showed up for the peaceful protest.
Connecticut was lost, out of nowhere and AKA failed to respond in time due to how fast adding it to the bills were.
Now we have tyler's death from "kratom" and now law firms are posting on major podcasting sites pushing for wrongful death law suits if they had kratom in their system at all, don't mind the other substances in their system but only kratom... That's their logic.
Keep fighting, cross post/share, call & email because this is going to get serious very soon.
I support AKA & GKC but their tactics need to be changed. an attack on one alkaloid in kratom, is essentially an attack on all. We need to make them understand that. These representatives and legislators that try to pass these ban bills need to start understanding that it's our bodies and our choices. When they try to ban our herb, all of us are under attack with our liberties and rights as a human. The GOVERNMENT should never tell us what we can do with our bodies, especially put inside our bodies.

Kratom works as an extremely effective appetite suppressant. Is it just me?
I discovered Kratom because of this sub. Then I saw it available at a local gas station and tried it out of curiosity. I did the chewable tablet form for the first time 3 weeks ago. I did not use it every day and I don't like very much the high it gives me (it makes me extremely drowsy), but the appetite suppressant side effect (for me) is undeniable. Has anyone else noticed this?
I was 55 lbs overweight when I finally committed to losing weight last February. Since then I have lost 36 lbs as of this morning with 14 lbs more to lose to achieve my goal weight. My interest in Kratom is 100% as a appetite suppressant weight loss aid.
Thoughts? Can anyone weigh in on this?

Unexpected cold turkey
Hey Reddit,
I'm in a tough spot and could really use some advice. I've got a flight to the UK in about 72 hours, and I just found out I can't bring kratom with me – it's illegal there.
I've been taking kratom daily for the past 5 months, at a dose of 5.5 grams once a day. I'm genuinely scared about the withdrawals, especially since I'll be going cold turkey in a foreign country.
My main question is: Should I be terrified? Is it a terrible idea to go on this trip, or can I realistically manage severe withdrawals while trying to navigate a vacation?
Any insights, personal experiences, or tips for getting through this would be hugely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Links to the University of Florida Kratom Questionnaire the AKA Sent Out
Please help out and demonstrate to U of Florida that kratom is a safe painkiller and energy booster that changes the lives of countless chronic pain patients by filling out one of these surveys they have prepared for kratom users, which I found out about through the AKA. The first link is for the regular survey, the second is specifically for cancer patients (like me) who take kratom. Please note the test interface is a bit hinky. I had to erase and re-enter my answers on one page - after about four tries it finally accepted my answer. I add this because I think it's really important they get a good response, and the thing did eventually work when I kept trying. It's also fully anonymous.

Regarding the attempted 2016 federal ban...
This may have been brought up before but sometimes I wonder if the DEA aborting their attempt at the federal scheduling of kratom alkaloids into schedule 1 was less influenced by pro-kratom groups and individuals and more influenced by a much more powerful entity... the pharmaceutical lobby. A lot of people blame big pharma for the current troubles in some states (I do too) but I wonder if big pharma recognized that if kratom alkaloids were placed into schedule 1, it would make their attempts at bringing a kratom based pharmaceutical to market would be exponentially harder so they leaned on the DEA to "call off the hit" so to speak.
Now Im out of my depth here but I'd presume that the scheduling of kratom federally would have made their drug research and production a nightmare/near impossibility and whatever drug they intend (or intended) to bring to market would be hobbled immediately by the DEA. Presumably any kratom based medicine is going to be schedule 2 and according to AI, its an extremely tedious and costly process to move something from schedule 1 to schedule 2. Thoughts?

Kratom for Chronic Pain
I'm in pain management. I used to make Kratom tea. I'm 63 and meds are inadequate. My pain management doc is 73. I want to go back to Kratom and save meds for surgery only. How long do I wait after taking 5mg of Hydrocodone. I take 5 a day. They barely touch the pain. I haven't posted in this group for a few years. I can't even sit and read the rules. I've never had an addiction problem. I don't drink. I tried Kratom as a last resort for about 6 months. I went to pain management. I've never had a tolerance for Opiods. When I made strained tea. I think the highest was 8mg of Kratom a day before I strained it. I Still have a big package in my cabinet. It's been there 2 years. I'm homebound bedridden on my stomach. How long should I wait?

How did you get clean? What did you take to help with withdrawals. No I don’t give a shit that “you didn’t even have withdrawals” this ain’t for you then, move along.
How did you get your appetite back? How did you deal with the cravings? What vitamins/products did you use (I guess without using product names? wtf mods that dumb as fuck). How did you stay clean?
We need to support the “getting clean” community as much as we support the “keep it legal” community. And should be sharing resources for people who want, or need, to stop.

KCPA was signed in Rhode Island to reverse the Ban in that state.
The American Kratom Association just sent out this Email about it.
I’m posting this for those who aren’t signed up for Emails from them yet. I’m sure others are posting it as well, but it’s a great marker and hopefully other states will follow this to reverse bans as well.

Does Kratom show up in a drug test?
I use about 120 mgs or less a day of Kratom tabs. Does anyone know if this shows up in a hair follicle test or urine test?
I have 2 autoimmune diseases with pain and don’t like to take percs. I will take one perc 7.5 a day. But kratom works better for me. I have to take a 12 panel drug test ( i don’t know what that is) for a state job.
