Arsenal and Man City exit the UCL.
What effects do you think this’ll have on the title race? Positive or negative for us?

Probably similar to Ronaldo. He could jump, he was fast, he could finish, he was just a threat at all times."

Out of the box managers you would like to see if Amorim isn't available
There is some possibility that Amorim might do a Xabi Alonso and stay one more season with Sporting or go to Barcelona or he may not even be the boards choice.
So, with so many unknowns, who would you take at Liverpool that haven't been discussed as much?
I personally wouldn't mind Emery or Diego Simeone. I know they completely different style of play to Klopp and what we would like to see, but they have achieved great things with little budget and a lot of heart.
Who is yours?

This squad's immensely positive reaction to adversity gives me hope
I just want to commend this particular squad's never give up attitude. It has been inspiring, and elite, all season long. The amount of times we have come back from an early deficit, won points from losing positions, and won matches extremely late is insane. I have been calling them Mentality Monsters 2.0 all season, the Magic Mentality Monsters.
Given that, I am more optimistic we can still win the premier league title. We are only one loss by City away. I know everyone knows the math. I hope so much we can pull it off. This season has been truly one of the best in my lifetime, in my own opinion. Because of all the fight back and late drama. And I just really love this squad.
It's frustrating and bad for mental health and stress that we seem to concede first more often than not, and our actual goals scored is always below our expected goals, but it does make it exciting.
I just wanted to gather some perspective for myself. This season was supposed to be a rebuilding year. Our midfield has exceeded almost all expectations. Virgil has looked like the best center back in the world by far, again. Caoimihn Kelleher has been a revelation. Joe Gomez has been immense. So many positives, I could go on and on. And I have been living for those Klopp fist pumps since he announced he will be leaving this club we love so much.
Win or lose it has been amazing. So many emotions.
Moving forward, I just hope we win out and give ourselves a chance.
I made a post earlier about the refs screwing us, and we should have more points than we do. I realize the errors of my ways, I think rightly I was downvoted to oblivion. Now is not the time for that revisionism and crying over spilled salt. C'est la vie.
Now we need to get behind these amazing players, and Kloppster and cheer them on as best we can over the line. Enjoy it as much as possible. I really want to write Jurgen Klopp a proper letter, thanking him for his time at the club. What an amazing human being.
We need some help, but at least we have a chance. Up the Reds.
Thanks for reading if you do.

Enough doom posting.
We’re two points off with 6 games to go. Who really cares about a Europa trophy in all honesty. We’ll be in the UCL next year with a top four finish. We weren’t sure we’d even be a top four team and we are one weekend away of good results from being top again.
Everyone needs to chill. Our attack is in slump and that could literally change instantly and we drop 9 goals in. It’s not the end of the world to finish top four and lose out two teams who are much further along than us.
I think I speak for everyone who is just trying to enjoy the last few games we have with Klopp, let’s not let it end this way. Chin-up. We have had a great year. Remember what this time last year felt like? It was much worse. It’s okay to be bummed that we dropped a crucial game but enough.
I like coming to this sub to enjoy the club. Not hear armchair managers bitch about players missing chances none of us could put away in our dreams.

“Diogo Jota … stands fourth (behind Son Heung-min, Jarrod Bowen and Phil Foden) if players are ranked by non-penalty goals minus xG, a rough measure of striking efficiency. Díaz and Núñez are respectively 554th and 559th of 562.”
