Just received this email from the club. I think I pay something like 30 pounds for Int'l Mem which really only gets me a shitty packet and 10% off any purchases. I've had it for nearly 15 years now, I think. I mostly get it for the discount and to support the club. I would love to be over in Liverpool more often to benefit from the full mem and get tickets, but that just isn't my life, sadly. Why the fuck are they getting rid of this option? It's not even about the money for me, but I barely use the fucking thing as it is, why would I pay more to not use it either? This shit, coupled with announcing ticket price increases right before a very important stretch of games, just makes me think the club is really headed in a stupid direction from an administrative standpoint. Why further alienate people trying to support the club in whatever way they can with this bullshit penny pinching?
