GMT+1 destroyed what was left of Moroccan quality of life

I’m sure I’m not the only one, but ever since the country decided to adopt GMT+1, time somehow hasn’t made sense. Mornings feel much shorter. I wake up, get to work, have breakfast, and before I know it, it’s already 12:30 or 1:00 PM.

As for sleep, I honestly don’t know how anyone manages to go to bed before midnight (which doesn’t even feel like midnight anymore). I always end up falling asleep at 1 or 2 AM.

Long story short , let’s enjoy our original time during this ramadan.

Am I overreacting for reporting an indrive driver after he asked me to drive myself?

I (23F) ordered an indrice today to go home, something I do every weekend. this time it was a guy approximately 38M

From the get go he said he only approved the order cause he thought I was his sister with the same name. Then he kept yapping, I was just annoyed at the beginning. Then he started telling some weird stories. How he once saw a woman being dragged to a car by a man in the rain, he went down to help but as soon as he saw her face he decided not to help cause she was "the type that needed beating", said she must've scammed the guy or something and that he could tell from her face.

Then he said another story about a girl he picked up as a favor after he found her in the middle of nowhere and she started flirting with him and asking money, he said someone must've left her there after she annoyed them to death. He also went on to say he was a pushover and too good so people took advantage of him. All this time I'm quiet and just nodding cause I was fearing his reaction although he didn't seem aggressive but you can't be too sure.

He asked to send me a message so that I'd keep his number if I needed rides. Then suddenly he asked if I had a driver's license. I said yes, he said since when I said a year but I drive regularly. Then he reached a passage through a forest and said I should try driving there to "try out my hand at it". I said no thank you, he kept insisting saying he does that with costumers a lot and that I shouldn't be afraid, just not to commit any violations. I said no again.

The entire time I was talking to my younger brother (19M) on messages, I just said the guy was chatty and annoying, then I asked him to come to the entrance and pick me up when I arrived, he said ok. When we finally reached home, after the guy was skeptical of the road I lead him through, my brother came, he looked at the guy and then at me and saw that I was upset. I got down and told him to walk with me, then I told him what happened, then my brother who is usually very protective of me and the women in our family got obviously mad, started yelling at him.

I stayed away and could only hear my brother's voice, the guy didn't leave his car. The security guard was sitting close by and saw the whole thing and was ready to intervene the second it got heated, he asked me if I was ok. The guy finally left and I reported him on the app.

He sent me an audio message later, greeting first and saying he just wanted to do me a favor , saw me as his sister then went back and said daughter, then said I shouldn't have sent him my brother. Then asked me to block his number.

Now there's a big chance the guy is a massive idiot and didn't see the wrong of his doings, and really my report would damage his livelihood, but he made me feel so threatened and unsafe, thus why I didn't reply cause I feared his reaction.

Pegasus , turkey

We are a family of five, traveling to Turkey for Umrah. Our flight is from Casablanca to Jeddah with a layover in Istanbul. The police prevented my husband from leaving with us so we could collect the second boarding pass for our connecting flight, operated by Flynas via Pegasus. At the airport, we were treated condescendingly and given the runaround.

We are waiting for a solution. It's shameful to treat Moroccan citizens like this in Turkey. All this because my family and I have both Moroccan and French nationality, while my husband is only Moroccan. Morocco should be stricter and require visas for Turkish citizens. Moroccans must stop being treated like this!

About to marry but unsure.

I’m a man with a stable job and good salary. I’ve known a woman in the same field for about a year, and we’ve developed strong mutual feelings and talked about building a family.

She believes I should fully provide financially — which I’m okay with — while she keeps her job and not willing to contribute (also okay)

But she also expects equal sharing of housework. That’s where I struggle.

Despite my feelings for her, I can’t ignore what feels unfair to me, and I worry about long-term exhaustion and afraid that this isn’t really an improvement but only added responsibilities.

I’m not asking for help for what should I do, but basically your opinions .

Thanks

When looking for a wife, do you prefer going straight to the point or dating for a while first?

Salam, I want to get your take on this. When you're looking for someone to marry (excluding the whole "asking family and friends to find someone" route), what's the best move?

If you see a girl you like, do you go straight up to her and explain that I’m looking for marriage? Or do you talk to her seriously for a bit and meet up to see if you actually vibe/click first, and then get into the marriage details later?

Edit: Just to clarify, I don’t actually have anyone in mind yet! I’m just trying to figure out the right blueprint for when I want to approach a girl I like.

PS: To the people who are gonna say "don't get married" or "marriage isn't worth it," please don't bother commenting. Keep that talk to yourselves.
