My Uncle was Killed in a Supposed Car Accident in Moulay Bousselham
My uncle was a Canadian Citizen and was killed in a car accident in Moulay Bousselham on October 16th at approximately 7PM. His wife contacted my dad to say she was driving and the vehicle rolled over, she is completely okay but my uncle supposedly died at the scene. My uncle had dementia and was completely in her care. I do not know if she put his seatbelt on as he is not able to do this himself. Further to this, his wife buried him in Khenifra, and ignored the family’s wishes to bring him back to Canada where he can be with his family.
The family is wanting to know if there were any witnesses at the scene of this supposed accident. We have contacted the embassy and the authorities as well as multiple news outlets and we have not received any other information from these sources or from my uncle’s wife.
We are very traumatized by this incident and my family just wants answers as to what happened. Please let me know if you have any information about this or if you know of anyone I can contact for more information.

As an Algerian, would you advise me to visit Morocco?
I can't deny that North African countries share a lot of common traditions, especially Morocco and Algeria; I've always thought of us as one people. But recently, political issues have created tension and even hostility between the two countries.
As someone who's loved Morocco since childhood, I've always wanted to visit. I actually have several friends there, and we chat normally without any political stuff. But I always wonder if it would be easy for me to visit Morocco, especially since I used to be in the military. My worries are mainly about potential issues with the police at the airport or with Moroccan intelligence. I'm honestly afraid of getting accused of something like spying (a totally false accusation).

Guys I've always felt alone...im 17y old from marrakech I talk to people but making friends is hard. I can talk to someone at school but as soon as we leave they forget about me I don’t want to look bad so I don’t reach out to them again

Congrats we have the best infrastructure of Africa
Congratulations, we ranked number 1 African country with the most improved infrastructure, in front of Egypt and Mauritius.
This infrastructure deficit has hindered the continent’s economic development and social advancement.
Morocco is going ahead and is becoming more and more developed. Hopefully we will solve the education and healthcare problem. If we succeed in these last 2, I'm sure Morocco and Moroccans can achieve great things as a country.

Thank you Morocco and Moroccans!
My wife and I just returned from a wonderful two week tour of Morocco that included Rabat, Chefchaouen, Fez, the Sahara, Ouarzazate, the High Atlas, Marrakech, and Casablanca. We had a great time experiencing the diversify of people, cities, and delicious food, but perhaps most enjoyed our interactions with Moroccans throughout. Whether it was the staff of our riads, restaurant workers, market salespeople (including rug salesmen!), nomad families, salt pond workers, or others, we found Moroccans to be extremely friendly humorous, and welcoming. We experienced virtually none of the aggressive sales pitches we’d head of, finding that either a firm “la shukran” ended it or the salespeople themselves were really friendly and just doing their job (like in the Jemaa El Fna).

Scam epidemic in Morocco
I noticed an abundance of scam and fraud schemes in social media, particularly Facebook. So many poorly made ads that scream fraud, and so many people falling for them unfortunately. They target desperate and vulnerable people (students, housewives, ...). Some even explicitly represent themselves as Multi Level Marketing companies, which I find mind blowing because MLMs are basically Ponzi schemes (they make most of the money by recruiting). how can the government and even a company like Facebook allow them to operate freely is beyond me.What do you guys think about this?

Protests in Morocco
When we see the protests in our country, we see millennium protests about palestine or any other arab country, but when it come to the protests about the true problems about Morocco (Al Haouz, High Prices, détérioration of health and educaton system), we don't see the same passion at palestine protests in this protests, and i found this weird and It doesn't work, Morocco can't change about Palestine-Israel situation, the best he can is cutting the relations with Israel in this case Morocco will favor Palestine in his public interest (No country ever will sacrifice her public Interest), However, demonstrations about the problems of the bear are what will be useful because the government has a duty to solve Morocco’s problems, such as the deterioration of the health and education sectors and the high prices, and this is the duty of every country in the 21st century.

Mentally unstable girl outside our property who might be a target for predators.
Hi everyone. I’m hoping for some advice on helping this girl that’s in a really messed up situation. If i’m not mistaken she lived near a douar behind our place of residence with her family but she very well seems to be on her own now, not sure what happened to her family.
For a couple of years now this woman who’s clearly mentally unwell has been sitting outside our place with all her belongings, often gets naked and stomps around, goes to the bathroom on the grass in front of passing cars, sometimes may get agitated and violent. I can’t begin to imagine the trauma she looks like she went through at so young. I wouldnt give her past 25y of age. She is an absolute beauty with greenish grey eyes (not that it matters) but I am very worried about passing men taking advantage of her since she lacks the mental capacity and means to stay safe.
I wouldn’t know where to start with the situation so I come here asking if anyone knows of any organizations in Marrakech that work with disadvantaged/homeless women? It feels so wrong to drive by her everyday and see her in the state she is in. Poor girl can’t even look at other people in the eye it’s truly heartbreaking. I really hope I can get answers here.
