Is there any way I could turn my life around
18, no friends, no academic success; disappointed my mom who went above and beyond to afford my education, don't go out much, don't know how to talk to people, can't get over the feeling that I've wasted my teenage years doing nothing but being a shut-in, so ignorant and naive, can't bargain, can't defend myself, people treat me like a 5 year old because, well, I act like one.
Anyone feeling the same way? Could use a little piece of advice (especially from experienced people).
Jannies, don't take this one down for being "irrelevant", please.

Hey everyone,
I wanted to share something that’s been weighing on me. Living with ADHD in Morocco feels like being stuck in limbo. It’s like people don’t even acknowledge that it exists here. There’s no support, no real recognition of the condition, and definitely no access to meds like Adderall or anything similar. How do you deal with that ? I've been diagnosed in France but can't seem to find any meds here

So today but my mom got into an accident with a motorcycle he was only 17 and it was definitely his fault the choking thing is how people told him to stay down ( بقا بقا طايح اصحبي)

Stay away from Glovo
Stay away, they are THIEFS! They did not deliver the ordered items multiple times and refused to refund with an annoying template message.
They recently don't do live customer service anymore because the easier way to escape responsibility is to hide behind a template. You may lose your nerves and deal with gov. İnstitutions yo hand complaint against them. Glove is stealing money shamelessly.

Urgent: opinions on abuse of power by officer
Hey everyone, this is gonna be a veeeeery long shot but I thought I'd post here in case someone can enlighten me.
Long story short, a member of my family recently got called in to the police station because 2 people (1 old acquaintance but other one is a stranger) filed false charges against her and from the looks of it paid off the police officers handling the charges.
She went it to see what this was about, they started asking her to sign a confession from the get go. She denied all charges and told them she doesn't know the 2nd person, officer called her a liar and said there's no way 2 people could both be telling the same untruthful story 🤦🏻♀️ . They took her to a holding cell and took all her belongings and left her there until the next day. They brought her up again and asked her to sign the confession. After she refused again, the officer basically threatened to plant evidence on her phone and send her to prison for worst charges. She ended up signing from fear of the officer and sealing her fate that she did commit what she's accused of even though she DIDN'T. They also didn't let her get a lawyer and she had no idea what the legal process looks like.
We're now stuck in a weird place where we don't know if we should pursue the officer, the entire precinct, the two plaintiffs for false accusations??? What do we do? Please help 🙏🏻
EDIT: Already got a lawyer but I wanted to see if others might've gone through the same thing

Let’s unpack this quickly but first grab your atay —this might get heated
First it’s the colonial hangover. Morocco’s history with France and Spain left this lingering idea that anything European = superior. A lot of men think dating or marrying a European woman is like leveling up socially.
Then there’s the whole passport thing. Let’s be real some men see European women as their one-way ticket to a better life abroad. They think being with a foreigner means escape from the struggles of Morocco..
Society doesn’t help either —Moroccan women get labeled as “demanding” or “traditional,” while European women are seen as “open-minded” (a stereotype). Add in the media glorifying Western beauty standards, making Moroccan men think European women are the ultimate prize.
But the obsession is often rooted in self-hate. Some men are so focused on chasing European women that they downplay the value and beauty of Moroccan queens. Like why are you trying to diss your own people to validate someone else? that's embarrassing

Why is it so hard to talk about mental health in Morocco?
seriously, why is it that we can talk about everything who’s dating who, politics but the moment you bring up mental health, people act like you just cursed? People say ‘just pray more,’ but no one wants to talk about actual stuff like anxiety, depression, or needing therapy. Why’s it so awkward to talk about? I remember when my guy friend was going through a tough time, and instead of being supportive, his family laughed at him and said ‘he’s a man, he shouldn’t be depressed.’ Like, wtf? Can we normalize this? The younger generation is woke about mental health because we’ve been through it, but the older generation still acts like it’s a taboo. It’s crazy how we’re supposed to just ‘deal with it’ while pretending everything’s fine.

Even the customer support of a famous brand, when choosing arabic, opens with "Bonjour".

Hi guys, desperately need help, im travelling and for multiple reasons I'm very low on money right now, only have 1500dh left, my flight is in 4 weeks from ourzazate and expensive I can't change it or get some more money sent to me. All alone.
Hotel and hostel are too expensive even the cheapest ones. How do I make it that long? should I go to a smaller town? Rent a room from someone? How do I ask around about that? Barebones living, I just need to last that long, how do I manage 😭
