Why do Moroccans who live in France be tend to be snobbish? (Not all of course)

I live in a major Asian city. The biggest in the world and it’s one of cleanest and more exciting places. I have met some Moroccans who live in France. They’ve been here for less than 24 hours. I offered to guide them. I couldn’t stand how they would compare everything to France and Paris. Mixing French words acting in a snobbish way. Claiming that they’re lucky to be in France and that it’s the best country in the world. They’d look down on anything that is not French. Why this identity crisis? Why Moroccans who specifically live in France tend to be like this? It’s so low. I was literally disgusted by this behavior. No respect whatsoever

Unusual animals that exist or existed in Morocco

Hello,

Today, I was searching for animals on Google to pass the time and decided to look up animals that exist or once existed in Morocco. To be honest, I was surprised, as I’d never been told that some of these animals lived here. While a few are extinct, they disappeared not too long ago.

I did a bit of digging, but some of these animals lack detailed information online, so please feel free to comment if I’m wrong. Here are some of the interesting animals that exist or existed in Morocco:

# North Afrcan Elephant (Extinct):

The North African elephant (Loxodonta africana pharaohensis) are the same elephants that the Carthaginians used against the Romans in the Punic Wars. Sadly during the reign of Augustus, about 3,500 elephants were killed in Roman circus games, and this prolonged use as a beast in games of baiting along with hunting would drive the species to extinction at the 4th century AD.

The North African elephant, now extinct, was distinct from the modern African savanna elephant (Loxodonta africana):

North African elephant: Smaller, about 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) at the shoulder compared to the African savanna elephant: Larger, 3 to 4 meters (9.8 to 13.1 feet).
The North African elephant had a lighter, more agile frame, suitable for hilly terrain estimated to weigh between 2,700–4,000 kg (6,000–8,800 lbs), lighter than the savanna elephant, which can weigh up to 6,000 kg (13,200 lbs).
Their smaller size and agility made them ideal for military operations compared to the larger savanna elephant.

# Barbary leopard:

The Barbary leopard (
Panthera pardus panthera) a subspecies of the African leopard that still exist in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco and also in Algeria but apparently only small population and highly endangered species, still cool nonetheless. this subspecies of African leopard is a bit different:

Slightly smaller and stockier compared to other African leopards, 90–190 cm (3–6.2 ft) from head to body, with a tail length of 60–110 cm (2–3.6 ft).
Typically 30–70 kg (66–154 lbs), though some individuals may be heavier. This is slightly smaller compared to the 50–90 kg (110–200 lbs) range of savanna leopards.
Thicker fur with more distinct rosettes, likely adapted to the cooler mountain climate.
Found in mountainous and forested areas, unlike most African leopards, which prefer savannas and open woodlands.

# Atlas bear (Extinct):

The Atlas bear (Ursus arctos crowtheri) is a Brown bear described as the only African only native bear sub-species that survived into modern times but sadly went extinct due to overhunting and destruction of its natural habitat. this bear was a unique subspecies of the brown bear because:

The Atlas bear was smaller than most

Terrible day at university

Hello everyone, I hope you're doing okay. As per the title, I had a terrible day yesterday at university and would like to get it off my chest as well as get your opinions on it.
So basically today I had la colle (contrôle en TP) of biology, as we were about to begin, the teacher gave us small pieces of paper to choose from, a number was written on each one of them and each number indicates a certain manipulation, anyways I chose one of the papers went to my seat with my polycope still in hands revising as much as I could before beginning as the teachers didn't tell us whether or not to begin right there and then and I thought we'd have to wait for all the students to take place so we can begin at the same time but then one of the teachers came in and she saw me holding the polycope and said "wa 3la hadchi khsk 0" and I was like why?, literally the only thing on the table was a microscope and a little bottle of some colorant, I did feel stupid after for this but ma3linach I put the polycope in the bag and sooner after I realized I needed a white A4 paper so I asked the girl beside me if she had any extra paper and she told me to ask one of the teachers whom according to her was "nice" to give me a paper the other teacher caught us talking and she told me "baghya tkhrji nti wakila!?" to which I replied no I just wanted a paper to which she said in a very angry tone something along the lines of "kt3 wrka mn chi konach wla chi haja lhisas li fato ntoma kounto katjibo lwrak wach ana 3mri 3titkom chi wrka?" (Mind you it was my first time ever taking la colle en biologie so I didn't really know how it should all go but I always brought my own paper with me in the previous classes), anyway a kind guy handed me a paper and like seconds after as I wanted to start writing I just felt my eyes dm3o and basically couldn't hold back the tears the tears kept flowing the entire exam duration and even after, to be honest I'm also blaming my hormones for this as I was on the first day of my period and had some other personal problems so the way they talked to me was just la goutte qui a fait déborder le vase(aka me). The teachers asked me a few times why I was crying and how I shouldn't be crying because I got the easiest manipulation to do and I guess their tones became softer and one of them tried to calm me down for a few seconds.
I always knew I was "fragile/weak/sensitive" but thought I had become stronger, I'm still trying to convince myself that crying is natural and that it doesn't make me weak but it has proven to be a rather hard thing to do.
If you came all the way down here, thank you for taking the time to read all of it I feel like I wrote too much for something so short. Now I'd appreciate it if you could tell me your opinions on those teacher's speech and whether or not you think I overreacted.
Thought my age is also more or less an important factor so fyi I'm 18.

brown bears, standing about 2.7 meters (8.9 feet) when upright, with a more compact build. And weighed up to 450 kg (1,000 pounds)
The Atlas bear had a darker coat with reddish-brown tinges and shorter fur compared to most brown bears.
Its skull was slightly narrower and less robust than that of other brown bear subspecies.

# Northwest African cheetah:

The Northwest African cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus hecki) this a cheetah subspecies native to the Sahara and the Sahel and they been spotted in the reserves of Morocco but not sure if they still actually exist in Morocco since this cheetah subspecies is critically endangered and is mostly restricted to parts of the Sahara Desert. The Northwest African cheetah differs from the more commonly known Southern African cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus jubatus) in several ways, both in appearance and behavior:

Northwest African cheetahs have a lighter, almost whitish coat compared to the golden-yellow coat of Southern African cheetahs.
About 105–120 cm (3.4–4 ft) from head to body, with a tail of 60–80 cm (2–2.6 ft), less dense, and not as bold as those of their southern counterparts.
Typically 20–40 kg (44–88 lbs), making it lighter than savanna cheetahs, which can weigh 36–65 kg (79–143 lbs)
They tend to be more nocturnal than their southern relatives, likely to avoid the extreme daytime heat of the desert.

# Moroccan dog breeds:

And also want to add another that we have a breed of dogs called the Aidi, also known as the Atlas Mountain Dog, North African breed, primarily found in Morocco. which is funny never thought we had Moroccan breed.

And did you know that Sloughi is an ancient breed of domesticated dog It originates from North Africa not just a random street dog which I always thought to be the case.

Don’t send you ID photos to anyone

so i just want to inform you that sending your ID to anyone would result sever problems to you if you are not careful

1 . why and how

for exemple while buying a product online the seller might ask you for a picture of your ID as a prove of your identification , nowadays there is many Government services that allow you to ask for documents and they only ask for a picture of your ID also there is many banks that allow opening a bank account online using just a picture of your ID soo the other party might use your ID pictures to do many fraudulent things

2 . how to protect yourself

first when you take a picture don’t send it in colors but only back and while , you can add the date you took this picture on the ID using photo editing , you cdna go even further and add for exemple “ this photo of the ID is only used to prove identity “ then add ur oder number or something

same goes for your signature don’t sign stuff you don’t or can’t even read take it to a lawyer it only cost 300 Dh for him to explain it to you , you can even use Chatgpt just take a picture of the document or the contract and he will give you some good informations

23 yo fellow Moroccan needs a career advice pleaseeeeee

salaaam so7abi, as I said i am 23 years old, and I dropped out of high school when I was 18 because of some family issues that made it impossible for me to continue my studies. Since then, I’ve been working online for the past five years as a web developer and graphic designer.

Things have been going really well for me financially, chi khtrat I even feel thankful I dropped out. But at the same time, 3aaarf I might’ve missed out on a completely whole nother and different life experience or future wlkn hadi hya l7ayat we can’t have it all, and I’ve made peace with that.

But Last year, I decided to go back and take my baccalaureate (drt bac libre) My goal is to use my bac to immigrate to Europe and pursue a bachelor’s degree.

Right now, im studying german every day because my plan is to eventually settle there in germany after finishing my studies. I’m considering Hungary as my first stop since their visa acceptance rate is really high compared to other european countires afaik

I know they offer programs in English which is really good for me (i've always wanted/loved to study in english). my idea is to complete my bachelor’s in Hungary in two years, get really good at German during that time, and then start applying for jobs in germany.

What do you guys think? I’d love to hear your tips and advice, any constructive criticism is welcome too.

Help me live in Morocco!

What’s the best way/options to live in Morocco in a city like Casablanca or Essaouira as foreigners (Indonesian)? I mean i know by finding jobs etc but it seems like working visa in Morocco is not really that easy? They only can offer short term visa where we have to fly in-out in certain period of time. Is there any visa for digital nomads? I have just been back from Morocco and i am hooked! My heart left there.
