How Do You Deal with Poverty and Persistent Street Offers
Hi everyone,
I recently traveled to Morocco and had an incredible experience visiting cities like Marrakech, Casablanca, Rabat, Meknes. The culture, architecture, and hospitality are truly unique. However, I noticed a recurring situation that I’d like to understand better, and I’m hoping for some advice or insights from locals or other travelers.
During my visit, I encountered many people on the streets who asked for money or offered to guide me around the city. Some even invited me to their homes under the pretense of hospitality, only to later try selling me something. While I respect everyone trying to make a living, it was sometimes overwhelming and left me unsure of how to handle these situations politely yet firmly.
How do locals or frequent visitors approach these encounters? What’s the best way to navigate these situations without offending anyone? I want to respect the culture and traditions, but I also want to avoid uncomfortable moments or misunderstandings.

Living with ADHD is a curse ....
Please , I'm not a teenager trying to get high .
Im 28y and I suffered enough in every aspect of my life because of this disease ...
Total apathy , no drive or energy , no motivation to do anything , hypersomnia ( sleeping close to 12hours a day ) , severe foggy thinking unable to focus on anything , having a hard time to socialize .
Misdiagnosed with depression for 6 years now ( thanks to docs who never heard of ADHD f had lblad sa3ida ... )
Im left with 1 option : get my ADHD meds overseas ( France or Italie since I have both my sisters there ) , but they do not accept Moroccan prescriptions ...
Anyone here plz also getting his ADHD meds from europe ? How do I get an european ordonance for ADHD meds ? Help this fella out plz Im really sick of living like this ...

I'm trying to find where my grandmother who is from Morocco used to live since I'm travelling there in about a week. She lived in Casablanca around 1950. Her address then was from the business card in the images. I also found newer images from 2009 of her visiting. Where in Casablanca is this?

If you’re gonna say one of these things, you’d better keep your mouth shut
There are certain comments people make that piss me off. If you’re inclined to say one of these, it’s probably better to stay quiet.
1. When someone is pursuing a goal
Whether it’s working toward a diploma, starting a relationship, or picking up a new hobby, there’s always that one person who chimes in with comments like: "Ma3ndk madir b XXX" or "Ach drna ga3 b XXX, ghi khssran lw9t/lflouss."
For example, someone might be struggling to make friends, and then they hear: "Ma3ndk madir bs7ab" from someone whose phone is constantly buzzing with notifications from all the friends they have.
2. When someone opens up about a problem
When someone shares a problem with you, no matter how silly it might seem, never respond with: "Yarbi ikon 3ndi b7al had lmachakil." Are you bragging about having worse problems? Or "Waili, nass 3ndhom machakil kfess." How is pointing out others have it worse supposed to help? Z3ma just because someone else has it harder than them, does that make them happier? Seriously, I don’t understand.

What can I order at a café?
Hey everyone. I spent a large portion of my life never going to a café until recently. The problem is that most cafés don't have a menu. You're just supposed to know what you can order. I can get by with the ususal stuff like ness ness or noire or café crème or tea, but I want to try something different. Can I get some ideas?

Salam everyone,
I’m a 24-year-old Moroccan living in Germany for over three years now. While I’m comfortable in different languages, I find that I can only truly express myself in Moroccan Darija, especially when it comes to personal and emotional topics.
I’m currently looking for a Moroccan therapist (m/f/d) who offers online therapy sessions. It would be great to connect with someone who understands the cultural context and can communicate fluently in Darija.
If anyone has recommendations or personal experiences with Moroccan therapists providing online services, please share. I’d really appreciate any leads or guidance!

Y'all, I was talking to a friend about ethnicities—specifically the Rif (my people) and how they are racist and stuff lol, and the Souss (his)—and it got me curious about other groups in Morocco. I looked online but didn’t find much.

Police gave adresse of plaintiff to the criminal's family
My sister sued two thieves who aggressed her (and other people), they were caught and my sister sued them.
A few days later both their families came to our house begging her to drop the case. But the problem is they're not supposed to know the adresse. They can only get it from the police!
The police are supposed to protect citizens not give their info to criminals family!!!!! Wtfffff
We don't know what those families are up to. Now she feels she has tk drop it because they come literally to our place and my mom is old, my little sister is there, they could hurt them.
